We offer a wide range of services to meet your needs, partnering with you to develop a detailed proposal, choosing an appropriate menu, preparing, dropping off and/​or serving food, and even helping you select the right location for your special occasion.

We can also provide bar/​beverage service, furniture rental, floral design, linen, audio visuals, décor for themed events, tenting, music and much more — attending to every detail to make your event a success from start to finish.

History

Established in 1959.

Rita’s Place, a welcoming and charming Italian restaurant, opened in 1959. Owners Rita & Charlie Rossi worked tirelessly to prepare their ‘from scratch’ recipes.

Within a few years, Rita’s became one of the most beloved restaurants in Chelsea, praised for its mouth-​watering nine course dinners, outstanding customer service and exceptional attention to detail.

Responding to requests from customers who were interested in savoring our delicious recipes in their own setting, Rita’s Catering was established with a mission to serve «restaurant quality» cuisine to corporate and private clients throughout the Boston area.

Combining a commitment to perfection in everything we prepare with beautiful presentation and top-​notch service, we quickly set a new standard for catering excellence. Nearly fifty years later, these qualities remain the hallmarks of Rita’s Catering and our reputation for excellence has helped us become one of New England’s largest and most trusted caterers.
