History

Established in 1995.

Stitely Entertainment entertains audiences at private, corporate and public events throughout the U.S. An international award-​winning drummer, Jeff Stitely started the company with a single orchestra bearing his last name. Since then the company’s band roster has grown from one to four: the Stitely Orchestra, Chicago Groove Collective, 312 Chicago and the Stephanie Rogers Band. Stitely Entertainment also features numerous jazz groups, acoustic ensembles and soloists. From 2006 – 2011, the company’s musicians performed at more than 1100 events throughout the U.S., including at such venues and events as the Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts, the House of Blues, Wrigley Field, the Chicago Jazz Festival and Taste of Chicago. Prior to the company, Jeff performed with his own critically acclaimed jazz ensemble, the Jeff Stitely Quartet, for 5 years and with renowned Chicago vocalist Patricia Barber for 10.

Business Owner

Jeff Stitely started Stitely Entertainment in 1995. Prior to that, Jeff performed with his own critically acclaimed jazz ensemble, the Jeff Stitely Quartet, for five years and with renowned Chicago vocalist Patricia Barber for 10. As a member of both groups, Jeff toured the U.S., Europe and the Mideast numerous times. He recorded three CDs, including «Chameleon Eyes,» which was named to the year’s «Top 10 Jazz CDs» by the Chicago Sun-​Times and WBEZ FM. Jeff graduated from the University of Illinois with a Bachelor of Arts in Music Performance. His professional performance career includes playing with such music notables as Chick Corea, Wynton Marsalis and Randy Brecker. Jeff was born and raised in Florida until he moved to Illinois to attend college. He now lives in Evanston with his wife, Liz, and two children, Evan and Olivia.
