Our services include laser hair removal, vein ablation and photorejuvenation of the skin for women and men.

At Laserwerks Medical Spa we use two forms of laser technology to provide permanent hair reduction safely and effectively. The Prowave Hair Removal System is designed for quick treatment of larger areas — like women’s legs and men’s backs; the Cutera Coolglide works on smaller areas such as lips, chin and the bikini area. Both can be used on all skin types, light to dark, even tanned skin.

The FDA-​approved Limelight laser system targets these areas and safely removes them, revealing youthful-​appearing skin underneath. These photofacials also shrink large pores, smooth smaller wrinkles and provide a clear even texture to the skin. Even rosacea improve with these treatments.

Laserwerks is Evanston’s only physician-​operated medical spa. We specialize in laser hair removal, IPL Photofacials for sundamaged skin and rosacea, and spider vein ablation. Dr. Moloney expanded her gynecology practice to include these services in response to patients’ requests for underarm and bikini hair removal in a clean, safe and discreet environment. We offer our services to BOTH men and women.

Meet the Business Owner

Business Owner

Dr. Kim Moloney is a graduate of Northwestern University Medical School and a board certified Obstetrician/​Gynecologist. She has been in private practice in Evanston since 1992 and is affiliated with Northshore University Healthsystems, including Evanston, Skokie, Glenbrook and Highland Park Hospitals. She is also a Clinical Assistant Professor at University of Chicago’s Pritzker School of Medicine.

She began offering aesthetic laser services to her private practice in 2007 and is active in continuing education courses in laser technology.

Laserwerks Medical Spa uses laser technology provided by Cutera, a leader in the development of aesthetic lasers with the highest safety profiles.
