linda was very helpful and informative when I went for a micro needling treatment. it went very well and I will go to her again for any followup treatments. she advised me what to expect and was very friendly

*After 1^st visit*
I used a Living Social deal here for their laser hair removal. Of all the places I have been to, they definitely have the least painful laser and the quickest service. Barely felt a thing during the procedure. And besides filling out the paper work I was in and out fairly quickly. The staff is very friendly and personable, they did talk about some of the products, but they were not pushy at all.
One slight issue is with their walls, it’s kind of like a studio apartment where the walls don’t go all the way up to the ceiling, and when you’re talking personal stuff, it’s just a little uncomfortable knowing people in the waiting area might be able to hear you.
*After 3^rd visit*
Okay, so the honeymoon period has passed. Showed up for my 3^rd appointment to find out via a sign on the door that (cue dramatic music) the place was closed the Saturday of Memorial Day weekend because the laser was broken. Thanks for letting me know prior to me driving there (hint: sarcasm). Could have left a text, voicemail, email, you know? Anything would be nice.
*After last visit*
So the last time I left there, it felt like they did a much smaller area than they had done the previous visits. My final appointment I ended up not going as they called to confirm the appointment 2 hours before the actual appointment and when I asked if I could reschedule (I know, my fault for not putting it on my calendar) they said they required 24 hours notice. Unable to cancel my other engagement, I just skipped the last appointment. As a business, if you are going to call to” confirm” then do it prior to the 24 hours. Otherwise it is just a reminder call. Just saying.

Ok so I have been suffering from dark and course hair my whole life (not a surprise, cus i’m an Assyrian female, just saying: P) and i first had a laser hair removal session about 2 years ago. It was accompanied with EXCRUCIATING pain. The laser was so painful my mom had to walk in and tell the person doing it to stop and slow down. After completing 9 horrible sessions, I thought my problem was over. That was not the case. 100% of my hair grew back within one month. and I had brown scars all over my neck. 2 years pass and my best friend tells me about Linda and her laser. I was hesitant at first of course, I did not want a repeat of what happened last time but Linda assured me in a consultation that I would be hair free and pain free. I went in for my appointment terrified that it would hurt, the lady doing the laser (I believe her name is Lisa) gave me a hug and told me I had nothing to worry about! That was great, she calmed me down with a hug and told me some jokes which got me relaxed. After a couple of zaps I could honestly say that I barely felt anything. Barely! And I’m the biggest baby. To whoever is thinking of getting laser hair removal, i HIGHLY recommend that you go to Linda. I promise you, you will not regret it! Great service, great laser, great pricing!!! :)

The customer service from this spa was great. After having less than desirable results with the first type of laser, Linda tried a new laser on me and Voila! instant hair reduction. I am really happy with my results after hearing horror stories from other spas where they suffered burns from the lasers on their arms and legs, but getting it done in a more sensitive area (bikini) I am really happy that I chose Innovative Aesthetics. I have a few treatments left, but I am really happy with my current results.
Linda and another girl (I didn’t catch her name-​but will ask her at my next appointment) are highly capable and have both wielded their laser skills on me with no issues whatsoever. I am absolutely thrilled with my results thus far.

On January 28^th, I had my very first chemical peel. It was recommended so that I can cure my acne and acne scarring/​blemish issues. I was a bit nervous at first, naturally. The thought of chemicals being applied to my face totally brings to mind the «Sex and the City» episode in which Samantha comes out looking horrifying.
Luisa Trujillo TOTALLY calmed me down and assured me I would not have to worry. She is so sweet and funny and has exactly the right beside manner for such a vulnerable situation. She used a layering technique that wasn’t super aggressive. She recommended that I have multiple peels over a course of time to rid my face of the acne and blemishes that have plagued me forever. The peels that are applied stung momentarily. Luisa gave me a fan to hold to relieve the stinging sensation.
I am very happy with the results. Even weeks later, my husband touched my face and commented on how smooth it felt. I will definitely be seeing Luisa again!

Yesterday, I had the Dermaplaning procedure. My face was beyond dry and was cracking and peeling, thanks to the brutal Chicago winter weather. I had tried all kinds of moisturizers to help the problem, but nothing worked. Luisa used Dermaplaning to remove the top layer of dead skin and my face looks 10 years younger and is glowing! My skin feels so smooth and soft! I am 41 years old and have never had a spa treatment before… now… I’m hooked! I certainly recommend Luisa. She is AMAZING! I am a little timid, and she made me feel very comfortable and relaxed.
