Established in 1973.

Old Dominion has been a family –owned business since 1973.

Patricia McConnell purchased the business from her x-​husband in 1988. There are less than 7% female-​owned collision repair facilities in the United States.

Dustin Caldwell, Patricia’s son, is a part –owner in the business.

Old Dominion has an outstanding reputation in the Eugene/​Springfield area for bringing a quality repair experience to their customers.

Dustin is the second generation owner of Old Dominion Collision. He started working in the business as a detailer at 15 years old and worked his way up to Vice-​President and General Manager before taking over ownership of the business in 2015.

They are always very nice and accomidating. They will set up all the rental car stuff for you and even the tow truck. After they are done you can’t even tell your car was in a accident. I really appreciate the auto detailing before you pick up your car too. Now if only insurance could conduct themselves this seamlessly.

Poor quality work & even worse service. Had Old D repair my car after being rear-​ended a few years ago. I went back to get it & the trunk lid was painted very poorly. When I complained about the excessive orange peel look on my trunk lid & showed them how it didn’t match the existing paint, the manager wouldn’t admit their was a problem. After a rather heated discussion, he finally said that they’d fix it. They did, but I shouldn’t have even been given the car back in that condition, nor should I have had to argue with him about an obviously shoddy paint job. Just got a company car back that was repaired by Old D. Again, not terribly impressed with the quality of work. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else for paint & auto body work.

I couldn’t be more pleased with the service I received at Old Dominion. I recently took my VW Jetta in to have scrapes, dent, and damage from multiple fender benders fixed on both sides of the vehicle. The repairs were thorough and look great. One of the fenders had to be replaced and all the gaps were good. The paint finish is very good. The original damage extended down the entire side of the car (fender and both doors on the passenger side, and fender, bumper, and scratches on the drivers door). It now looks like the car was never damaged. Also the staff was very patient and understanding of my situation, as well as courteous and professional. There were always fresh cookies in the lobby and toys for my young daughter to play with. I wholeheartedly recommend Old Dominion.

I was rear-​ended while driving my girlfriend’s car. I was concerned about navigating the insurance process and after talking to Old Dominion, my concerns were no longer. They arranged everything from talking to insurance, to the rental car company to pick up and drop offs. Customer service is top notch! Highly, highly recommend them.

Horrendous! I imagine they are the worst repair shop in town. Hood not aligned, body panels not aligned, and weather strip not attached properly to the roof. Left it with them to get it fixed, the next day the hood was still not in align, but got it straightened out. Left and found that electronics were messed up, temperature gauge, keyless entry, air bag monitor, and alarm all not working! They said they inspected the vehicle?! Will likely be taking legal actions, avoid the nightmare do not come here. If I could give 0 stars I would.

Great customer service!
About 4 years ago, I got into an accident where I totaled the front end of my car. It was a BIG project to fix but they did a great job!
Recently I was having troubles with my AC in my car so I took it to the dealership that I always go to and had them look at it. They charged me $ 115 just to look at the problem and told me it was a hose that was placed improperly and it would cost another $ 385 to fix it. That’s $ 500 just to replace one hose! The man at the dealership also asked me if I had been in an accident because the way the hose was placed was different than how the dealership usually positions it. I told him I had the front end replaced and he suggested that I go back and show the people who did the repair (Old Dominion)
I then went back to Old Dominion and showed them my problem and they not only fixed and replaced the hose for free, they reimbursed me the $ 115 I payed to the dealership! I highly recommend Old Dominion!
