History

Established in 1969.

Starting off as «The Pit Stop» and catering to the racer crowd when there was still a dirt track in Eugene; the bar has changed ownership a number of times through the years and name only a few. Taking on the name of Brew & Cue over two decades ago, the most recent owner in mid 2013 painted the building a split of Green/​Yellow & Orange/​Black to support the two most prominent Oregon College teams. Ducks & Beavers. You can see the theme carried on inside with the color of the cooler doors being evenly split and the covering of the barstools. Adding more big screen TV’s to allow everyone to find their favorite sporting event with the goal to make the location more of a «sports bar». The menu has been completely redone adding specialty items such as fresh corned beef, pulled pork and home-​made chili to what was once a «bar food» only menu. More surveillance cameras have been added to improve security and safety. Future expansions planned include a larger smoking deck with TV’s.

Father with two young boys has a full time job running another local business with global reach. Enjoys hunting, fishing and crabbing on the Oregon coast with family and friends. Wants the Brew & Cue to be a friendly safe place where everyone can feel welcome and find something they would enjoy coming back for.
