Art in the Vineyard has been happening in Eugene at Alton Baker Park for the last 30ish years. It’s a great way to spend a Saturday during your 4th of July weekend. I particularly enjoy the food vendors and grabbing a beer(I’ll let my fiancé handle the wine part). There are around 20 wineries or so that have booths here. The one thing I don’t like is that it’s fairly expensive. To just get a family in, you’re gonna shell out $ 40 even before getting any food or drink. The arts and crafts vendors are quite good, so think of it as more of an upscale Saturday Market. But still, $ 2 a person would be more reasonable than $ 7. The cost is probably for the fireworks show at the end of the night as well as the bands that play. This year’s headliner was Quarterflash. I guess they were a big 80s band and had a theme song, but now they are all 50 – 60 years old and not as exciting.
