La Quinta Inn & Suites Eugene

This hotel is clean and pet friendly. The staff is friendly and they were helpful at check-​in.
My only complaint was that it was a little loud. I could hear my neighbors alarm go off in the morning. This was worse with our first stay when we were on the 2^nd floor and the room had a door to an adjoining room. When we were in the 3^rd floor that had no door to an adjoining room it was much quieter! So ask for a room on the 3^rd floor.

The nicest out of three La Quinta Inns I’ve checked into during a week long road trip. They really keep up with this place. From the carpet, tiles, furniture, bed, to wall paint. Everything is maintained and not neglected. I must say I was impressed for the price.
The room we chose included a Cal King bed, Jacuzzi tub, shower, large screen TV. You get a lot for what you pay for. My dogs seem to also agree. The room space was more than enough. I have this place bookmarked for future visits.

I’ve had the pleasure of staying here once and have also visited family/​friends staying here.

Indoor pool and spa are open 24 hours. Yes, that’s correct! 24 hours! So swim for as long as you would like. The pool is at a nice warm temperature (probably around 85−90°) and the spa is a little less warm that the average which is good for people with sensitive skin. Towels are provided in the pool area of course.
There is also a fitness room that is on the smaller side. It hosts the ordinary fitness equipment you would see in a hotel.
This is a great hotel and I highly recommend it.

We stayed at this hotel. It is very nice that they allow dogs though I think $ 40.00 per dog is alot. The housekeepers are great and they love pets. There is Alton Baker park across the street, what a nice park! We loved the view of the river from our hotel room.

This hotel is pricey and I may not have stayed if I hadn’t had a discount coupon, but once you enter, you’ll understand why. Right on the campus of University of Oregon, if you want, you can take a nice walk or run along Pre Fontaine’s running trail. The hotel is quality built with super wide halls and nice amenities like guest laundry. Breakfast was good but Butte MT La Quinta still wins on best breakfast. Very nice atmosphere and rooms were large and quality. Glad I stayed it was worth the money

Nice location, very friendly staff. Clean room and bathroom, nice comfy beds, updated décor, wifi worked fine, fridge and microwave However, the a/​c had some complicated instructions re: needing some card to operate, but did not need a/​c. Also, there were plenty of outlets, but only 1 outlet was by the desk, and none near the table by the beds. Other than that, good breakfast selection and a trouble-​free stay. Would go back.

Lovely place to spend the night. Next to a beautiful park. Our dogs loved it. The room was spotless with a huge king bed. Nice breakfast, friendly staff.

Stay. HERE! This place is the most amazing La Quinta we’ve ever stayed in. The location is super quiet, the hotel itself is amazing clean and check in was not only quick, they upgraded our room for free, since they had the space. We overlook the river, so peaceful. The front desk clerk, when we asked her suggestion, directed us to McMenamin’s, for a late lunch. Great suggestion, I’ll have to write a review on them too. Our room is super clean, HUGE, and has a huge flat screen TV my husband loves. There were only three bath towels, but when asked at the desk for another, the clerk at the time immediately brought out another, fresh from the dryer and still warm. Another plus, the coffee pot is NOT in the bathroom, one of our quirks. We hate seeing the coffee pot near a toilet, total ewwww factor. Can’t recommend this place enough.
Caveats: The doors have sort of an ‘automatic slam’ feature on them that’s loud. It’s very difficult to not be loud when you’re closing the door. Hopefully, our neighbors won’t be going in and out all night and all will be well.

Good solid hotel in Eugene. Clean. Comfy beds. Nice clean indoor swimming pool and hot tub. The free breakfast in the morning was very good-​biscuits and gravy were restaurant caliber, do-​it-​yourself waffles, bagels, toast, cereal, scrambled eggs, yogurt… plenty to choose from. Location is near Autzen Stadium-​a decent walk if you are there for a game. It is also RIGHT by the Alton Baker trails if you are there for that. Would stay here again for sure.

Rooms are very clean and decorated nicely and the beds are cozy. The lobby is beautiful and the staff is very friendly. They don’t charge extra for dogs! We really enjoyed our stay here!

At the price point for a ducks game you are only here for one reason — LOCATION! The hotel is a pretty standard La Quinta. However, if you have a Ducks ticket the 5 minute walk is priceless, esp post game. Free parking but it is TIGHT spots so plan to exit vehicle before pulling in if possible and unloading the luggage. Big trucks, etc will find it a tight squeeze if not impossible. The staff were extremely friendly and loved the fresh cookies. The room smelled when we arrived. We called and they sent up a freshener but it seemed to fade after we turned on the air.

Great place, nice beds. The staff are all super helpful, a little hard to find. Just follow the signs to Autzen Stadium and you’ll find it on the right

I stayed here a couple of months ago when I was on vacation. I booked the Oregon Ducks themed suite which included a very nice hot tub in the room. The room was very spacious, clean and comfortable. The girl at the desk was increadibly nice and friendly, even printed me a map on how to get to local shops. I love the fact that they allow pets since I brought my dog with me on vacation. I will definantly stay here agin the next time I am in town.

We really enjoyed our stay in this suite and its kitchen complete with plates, sliverware, glasses and utilities — even a full size refrigerator. Our room was on the first floor near the back door — great for taking our dog outside. We liked the desk and separate TV in the living room, where I set up our computer. Our rooms overlooked the Willamette River — which was lovely. And the Guest Laundry was convenient for my two loads of laundry (I brought enough change and detergent). A light selection for breakfast put us on the road to visit local wineries. And there was a great mall nearby with restaurants where we had lovely meals (Sabai; Ox & Fin). We really enjoyed our stay here in Eugene!

As always: clean room, courteous staff, nice beds, clean bathrooms and plenty of parking available.
Cons: the AC only stays on when you have a key card in a special walls slot, noisy animals, and the overall temp of the building is in the high 70s and feels like a sauna.

Nice clean place with real English speaking housekeepers. Breakfast nice. Only issue parking spots to small expect some door dinks

We requested to have a late check out when we reserved a room… When I asked about it the day we were leaving we got «20 extra minutes»… When I pressed and requested more they insisted that they had a full hotel and weren’t able to … When I asked to speak with a manager she brought out the cleaning supervisor who gave me a speech about how if she gives me a late check out then she has to grant everyone a late check out and when I explained my situation she asked me «why one extra hour would make a difference»! How rude… She eventually gave in and allowed us an extra hour. But as I walked back to my room I heard her complain that «she just can’t accommodate everyone»

We decided to hop on a train from Tacoma and spend a few days in Eugene. We stayed at the La Quinta and I have to say I was really impressed. It was a very comfortable, well maintained, friendly place for a family to stay. Our family stayed in one of the Jacuzzi suites which had a king sized bed and a hide-​a-​bed. We also had a roll away brought to the room. There was plenty of room for all of us and our stuff, even with the extra furniture. The wi-​fi was strong enough for me to work via VPN while the family was out and about. The free breakfast was good. There were two waffle irons, hot egg patties for breakfast sandwiches, and sausage gravy along with all of the usual cereal, breads, yogurt, and fruit. The pool was warm and clean and the hot-​tub was clean and comfortable. The staff was helpful and friendly, from reception, to the people working the breakfast, to housekeeping. We will definitely look to stay again next time we are in Eugene.

Pros: The room was very nice and pretty clean (white socks didn’t discolor walking on the carpet). I paid the extra $ 20 for the spa tub and was VERY PLEASED. It’s not just a tub with jets, it’s a REAL SPA and separate from the bathroom. Worth every penny. Pony express will deliver food. ACCEPT PETS.
Cons: The parking spaces are so small you will be severely challenged to get into your car. Also, there aren’t enough spaces. When I arrived I was very stressed out after 9 hours in a car with two crying cats and nobody offered to help me by opening the door as I struggled with a luggage cart. This location is difficult to get to and there is a ton of traffic. One of the glasses in the kitchenette was obviously dirty. They don’t provide you with anything showing options for food delivery.

Wow, you can’t beat the location and price near downtown Eugene. AAA rate of $ 98. Clerk was more than accommodating by getting us a 2 queen room with river view. Beds were super comfortable. TV was a really wide flat screen– bigger than most of your 38 inches at typical hotels. WiFi was fast and easy to connect. Nice little gift shop near front office with UO stuff. Many guests were at the pool which is a nice touch to have for guests.
Clerk recommended Chinese restaurant right down the street on MLK. Really good food at nearby Chinese restaurant even by my picky parents’ standards.
Only 15 minutes walk to downtown and love how Eugene is so friendly to bikers/​mothers/​runners. Breakfast was super sweet with yogurt, cereal, and fantastic coffee. Plus, fruit bowl was filled with apples, oranges, and bananas.
