Dr. Thor is seriously the best!
I have never gone to the dentist as frequently as I should, but when I recently moved out here to California I decided I would go every 6 months or so like advised. So I started asking around and Dr. Thor’s name kept coming up and people seemed to absolutely love the guy. So after hearing many rave reviews from people in person I decided to call and book an appointment. The lady who answered the phone was very sweet and was able to work me in when it fit my schedule. I was actually surprised because it was late in the day, but she said he would stay later to fit me in. I was immediately impressed.
When I got to the office I found out that the sweet lady I spoke with on the phone was Linda, his wife. She runs the office and works the front desk and really is the nicest person on the planet. When she talked to me she seemed genuinely interested in me and what I had to say, which was very nice and refreshing. The office was also very nice itself. It was literally spotless and very classy looking. It really made me feel comfortable with my decision.
So I had my check-​up and it went great! His dental hygienist was very kind and thorough. Then Dr. Thor came in and did his work on me. He too was very kind like his wife, and I could tell he really knew what he was doing. He asked a lot good questions and definitley seemed to want to know not only about me, but about my dental history and how he could best help me. I had very clean and healthy teeth (nice!) but he did figure out that I clench my teeth when I sleep. So he set me up with a mouth guard to where at night when I sleep and it works like a dream. I don’t have nearly as many headaches and I actually feel like I sleep better.
Bottom line is, I will definitely continue to go to Dr. Thor for all my dental needs.

Been going to Dr Thor for 20+ years! He is always patient and kind. He doesn’t tell you to do things that don’t really need doing. I am never afraid when I go to this office. His wife Linda works the desk as receptionist and she is very kind and helpful. They are a wonderful team! I hope he never retires cuz I wouldn’t know who to go to!!!

I can’t believe Dr Thor doesn’t have tons of awesome reviews. So I’ll be his first one. I’ve been going to Dr Thor for over 20 years. Recommended to me by Rose. Rose use to make most the crowns for the dentist in Escondido. I asked who the best dentist in Escondido was, because I needed a new one. She told me Dr Thor.
The office is run by Linda his wife, Linda the office person, himself & Angie, his dental hygienist. They are all so lovely. Dr Thor is a great dentist. Fixed 3 teeth my previous dentist said I needed crowns for all three. 20 years later they are all doing great. One did need a crown finally after 18 years. Never has me do anything that’s not needed. My teeth are in the best of condition because of his care. Had my parents switch dentist last year. My dads dentist let his teeth go so bad without telling anyone that he had $ 20,000 worth of work that needed to be done. Once I found out, I would not let that dentist near him again. Dr Thor takes great care of my elderly parents. My dad has dementia, but he trust Dr Thor, & I could not be happier that I know they are being taken care of. My husband, who’s not the best at wanting to go to the dentist is very good about making it to his dentist appointments with Dr Thor.
I actually enjoy going to the dentist. It’s my time to catch up with them all.
