Best mexican food in Enumclaw. Carne asada tacos are my favorite. The rest of the of family gets carne asada super burritos. The servers are the best in town.

The food is good and the service pleasant and prompt. The vegetarian burrito is made with while beans and fresh vegetables and without the dairy is a good vegan option, a rare occurrence in Enumclaw. And the serving are HUGE. The guacamole is very nice. Despite just opening up and being short staffed the waitress, hostess, bus boy was very pleasant and attentive and the kitchen was very quick.

After a day hiking in Mt. Rainier we stopped in Enunclaw looking for a place to eat dinner. I found El Camino restaurant in Unilocal and decided to give it a try. I’m glad I did because it is one of the best carne asada ever! I haven’t found a place like this in Seattle. It is a family restaurant, not fancy or modern, but very friendly service and great food. I also tried the mole and it was too sweet and runny for my taste, however, much better than other restaurants. Will stop by again if I’m in the area.

Food is outstanding! My husband had the seafood soup the best we have found! We have tried tons is different Mexican restaurants ! I had the steak fajitas which are good as well. The only complaint is the guac needed a little mods salt. Service was good. Only one server and one cook(slow day). She did a great job.

My girlfriend and i thought the food was pretty delicious. With our«5 star» mexican food being«Puerta vallarta» restaurant. El camino was a solid 3.5 stars. Lacking a bit in customer service and flavor. But would definitely go back there for dinner. We both had the carne asada and margarita. Reccomended for sure!

Great food and awesome service. I had the cheese enchiladas and they were tasty. There was no pool of grease at the bottom, the enchilada sauce was perfect, and the ratio of cheese filling was great. The refried beans were some of the best I’ve had since living in Mexico, very authentic and the rice was very flavorful. The kids had beef nachos and the beef was very tender, flavorful, and a hint of something sweet. The tamale was wonderful and moist. Will definitely be back here again.

With 5 Mexican restaurants to choose from in our small town, everyone seems to have their favorite. Ours is clearly El Camino. Their el camino tacos are served Baja style with either chicken, carne asada, or adobada(pork). The simplicity of grilled meat, chopped onions, cilantro and a fresh squeeze of lime on warm soft corn tortillas takes us back to our favorite street food enjoyed on a trip to Chiapas, MX. Their pollo crema and a arros con pollo are both great. My wife likes their vegetable quesadilla & their beans are amazing.

Fast, super super friendly, very inexpensive, and authentic. There are several other Mexican restaurants in town and this one is the best by far. The atmosphere leaves something to be desired, but the food and service make up for that. Our families fave.

Probably the best Mexican food in Enumclaw coupled with possibly the worst service. The waiters and bartenders make you feel as though you’re wasting their time. I am any easy, undemanding diner and am very forgiving when it comes to service mishaps(see my other reviews!) but this is ridiculous! El Camino(Spanish for«the camino»), is walking distance from my house and therefore I have gone many many times, but the inconsistencies of good food and poor service are finally too much and I probably won’t be back. Ranchito 2, right up the street, serves Americanized«smashed beans and rice» smothered in cheese, but at least you can get a killer margarita coupled with great service and fun waitstaff. Try it instead. For food, I give 4 stars: best fish tacos ever. For service: 0 stars. Sorry, they suck. Averages out to 2 stars, but that still seems kinda high… Side note: at el camino, they don’t mix a drink very well. If you go, make sure that you order bar beverages in bottle or shot form. Margaritas are NOT supposed to be straight sweet and sour with tequila and ice. Ew.

I was craving tacos after a good day on the slopes at Crystal Mountain(first outing of the year!). After perusing the Mexican offerings on our route back to Seattle, my friends and I decided to stop at El Camino. It was really slow when we got there at about 5, with maybe three other tables sat. That’s always a bit unnerving, but we were committed. Soon after sitting down, chips(recently fried), salsa(not spicy, but full of vegetables with flavors intact), and refried beans arrived at our table, which was a perfect start. El Camino didn’t have any vegetarian tacos on the menu, and my craving had brought us there, so I asked if I could order some tacos with beans in place of meat. The server needed some reassurance that I really wanted what I was requesting, but ultimately agreed(«It will look a bit funny, but I think we can do that.»). When the food arrived, my tacos had the refried beans. While I kind of expected whole beans, it wasn’t a big deal, and I didn’t say anything about it. Still not quite certain that she had understood what I had ordered, though, the server asked if I wanted them made differently and offered to bring me a bowl of pinto beans, which I naturally accepted. Anyway, they were good tacos and definitely satisfied my craving. As for my friends, one got arroz con pollo, and the other ordered steak tacos. I can’t personally vouch for their dishes, but both enjoyed their food. El Camino was a good little find. I definitely plan to return this winter while making the trek back to Seattle from Crystal.

Really great food. The service was a bit slow, but in reality we don’t always need to be in such a big hurry. Had the Chile Colorado, which was outstanding and the portion was huge! The price is reasonable, the staff was polite, and the margarita was wonderful.

Great food. Comfortable atmosphere(not to noisy). Staff is nice. We are just visiting this area but we are very pleased to find some authentic food anywhere in Washington. Even the margaritas are a step up.

Really? Dry rice and left the margarita on the table after one taste. We had high hopes for this place based on Unilocal review. Sadly, disappointed.

Have been going to El Camino since it was on the other side of town. It’s good — not great. I usually have the arroz con pollo(or camarones) which is good. I ventured out and tried the tacos with a side of rice and beans — they were all just meh(the brought me lengua instead of pastor so I don’t know how the pastor are). My nephew ordered the dinner special with 6 tacos(he got 8 and tons of meat on his, I had to use a microscope to find my meat). The marguerita was small and just tasted like mix from Costco. The saving grace — the shrimp ceviche tostada — tons of shrimp with great flavor(and only $ 1.75)! I’ll be back but not tomorrow…
