Food was just not good at all. Never written a review to any place except this one. Server was nice, table was nice but that’s it.

Not a destination restaurant, and many better places to go in Englewood, but decent place if you’re catching a performance next door at Bergen Pac. Was there last night with Frankie Avalon immediately after his performance. Nice bar, good drinks and food was ok. Our table had fried artichokes which were fair, scallops which were just OK, bar pizza and a bunch of entrees including pork chop. Nothing stood out frankly. Solaia and now Bistro Capri never rose to any very good, let alone ‘great’ level for a dining experience but a place I’d go to, out of convenience mainly, if seeing a show.

Some good — some odd things. Went to Bergen Pac for concert — very convenient to eat here. Very good reviews on Unilocal. This looked like no brainer. First for the odd — Had reservations for Bistro Capri when we arrived were seated in the sister restaurant(Burgerwood). Not a huge deal, would have liked to know this when you make reservations. Server was new and nervous — asked for water and what the seasonal vegetables twice, again not a huge deal just not up standards. Server did not know what meats were in meatballs, insisted they did not have any pork or veal. Last oddity, ordered a Chopped Salad and it did not have any lettuce — none. I reread the menu and of course no mention of lettuce, so technically correct, just different that my experiences. Find that unusual — whatever. For the Good — the meatball(singular — app) was quite good.(my guess it had all three meats to be that tasty. Wine list was reasonable priced and you can find a bottle at a decent price. The wines by the glass —(if my memory serves correctly) does not have any Brands listed on them, just a Variety.(on odd side) . Overall experience was not horrible — was expecting more. Server made up for her inexperience with attention — she tried hard to please. We will give this place another try when in Englewood. The Burgerwood place where we had a drink(shared kitchen — separate bars) had a good vibe.

Nice that it was close to PAC. Menu a bit overpriced, but food was good. Bread was very hard though. They could definitely improve on that. Wait staff very friendly.

I went to Bistro Capri with a friend for a girls night out. We had a reservation and were seated promptly. We had a wonderful waiter named Alex. He was polite and attentive. We had some great tasting salads and a wonderful tuna tartare. The owner, Tony asked us more than once how our meal was and even sent over a complementary cocktail. We had a great dining experience and look forward to going back again!

A great new addition to Englewood! Excellent drinks and staff is extremely attentive. The owner Tony is very accommodating and generous. We will definitely be back. The owner also owns the burger bar right next door called«Burgerwood» which is just as good. Great causal burgers and drinks. We will definitely be spreading the word on these too great little neighborhood restaurants!

Such a great meal! We were there for a pre show dinner(BPAC) is right next door. We let the waiter know so that he can adjust accordingly and get us out by 7:50. I had the Kale Salad, it was really good. My hubby had the Caesar Salad and said his was good too. Eggplant ravioli was really to die for. The men had fish and said it was tasty and fresh. I would definitely come back when I wasn’t rushed to get to a show. The only negative thing about the restaurant was that it was drafty, just a little bit more heat would’ve helped. Definitely recommend this restaurant!

Live in the city but have been to this restaurant several times while out visiting family in NJ. At least once a month! Can’t say enough about how wonderful this place is. It’s def worth the trip out, just 5 min over the bridge. Food is amazing. The staff couldn’t have been nicer or more accommodating. Read the other reviews and find it hard to believe that anyone would 1: bring up the racism card! or connect it to this place! Wow. I can definitely vouch that this is the last place you would find this! Many of my African American friends and multi cultural friends frequent this establishment and love it! It’s been the go to weekly restaurants for most and all the lady’s come together to do lunch and have their birthday lunch parties. I’ve been to several with up to 30 girls and no problem with service to large parties. 2: There are no small tables in this place and sitting in the front by the door is actually the most coveted spot. I just had to mention these two because those reviews are so far from the reality. But back to my review… I LOVE this place! Can’t wait till the spring and warmer temps and you can enjoy all the yummy food sitting out side in the spacious side walk café! Save room for dessert:)

Great place to chill and enjoy some of your favorite Italian dishes. Everyone was courteous and pleasant. My water was constantly refilled. The food was great too. We ordered so many dishes and all were DELISH! I ate almost everything! I was not hungry but I could not resist because it smelled so good and tasted so good! I was very satisfied with the level of service, food and atmosphere. I would definitely recommend this place and I soon I will be piping in for some good Italian dishes.

Truffled corn is insane, the penne vodka was a staple for me at solia so I was happy that they decided to keep it on the menu. Great value for the quality of food that they serve!

The quality and presentation was amazing I was very surprised to get this all for 20 bucks! Highly recommend coming here don’t listen to the bad reviews this place has amazing service when I went!

Amazing Mediterranean cuisine restaurant with beautiful yet casual setup, feels like you taking a trip to Amalfi cost. Fresh ingredients with Mediterranean flavor prepared by talented chef, delicious appetizers, great variety of fish and meat dishes. Comfortable atmosphere with very knowledgable and attentive staff.

My new secret spot! Love the food and the ambience. Can’t wait to go back and see what the specials are. Started off with a nice reiesling, the sautéed shrimp special. This dish was full of different flavors that came together and exploded my palette with happyness. I decided to try the snapper artichoke special. This was another awesome dish that allowed my taste buds to travel back to Italy.

The FIRST time I ate at the New… ish Bistro CAPRI — was really a great experience. That’s why, I decided to return and have a small, tiny impromptu birthday party for Dre @gohamjellyfam. The best part of Dre’s party is that he was surprised and he had an overall POSITIVE experience. The WORST part was that we weren’t treated right. I wasn’t happy with the wait staff this time around. They were so disrespectful and I could barely understand them. Our waiter Christian on our FIRST visit was so wonderful. He’s the reason we came back for a second go round‼‼ The food wasn’t as good and someone gave my sister a half glass of water‼ Dre’s friends are the best. They are the most polite teenagers Ever. Because they were hurt by the treatment they received, That’s the reason I’m addressing this issue. As they walked in the door, they received dirty looks. One person even said she felt uncomfortable. As we exited the door, there was a man and woman sitting in the left corner of the restaurant who frowned at us and didn’t say a word. We spent over $ 500.00 that night and WEWILLNOTBEBACK. I don’t recommend this place EVERAGAIN. RACISMISALIVE& kicking. Young People@like to eat good food too. Are we allowed ONLY to eat at McDonald’s???

Since no stars or a negative rating is not. possible, I will give them one star because the doors opened. If they hadn’t, I would give them two stars. We had a 630 reservation, were on time, and they offered us a table next to a door that would be too small for two children, let alone two adults. We politely asked for a different table and the manager Steve went totally aggressive. Throwing around profanity, being very aggressive, and essentially having a tantrum. We left and will not be back. As an aside, I have heard the food is not up to par and we were lucky to have not stayed.

My wife and I had dinner at the bar on Dec 30, 2015. We were staying in the area. First of all, Irene the bar maid from the Czech Republic, was most gracious and accommodating. Loved talking to her. The sautéed squid was excellent and I commented to the chef that I didn’t need a knife to cut it… best ever even comparing to NYC places. We had salads, one beef, one chopped with salmon.excellent. We recommend that you go soon!
