Best of luck to anyone who wants to hire Rick S. Different sort of dude from the start which I tried to ignore as I liked his pics on line. But now thank goodness, I had a bad feeling from an overcomplicated quote & attitude since the first convo. I have worked with over 9 professional photographers in the last 5 years in hiring them, modeling and with major manufacturers own PR co’s. This guy definitely was not a match. Ever. Due to the nature of his personality. When I said it wasn’t going to work, as my needs and his needs weren’t matching up(because there were a lot more issues with his quote and personality, I decided to be nice and simple and say it wasn’t going to work because of both of our situations)… he continued to send emails accusing me of being difficult. I don’t get involved with crazy people, so didn’t respond. But I do like good business so I’m Unilocaling to save others the time. Hardly the case. [I completely acknowledged that up front I was in a hurry up and wait situation based off the nature of my business. I take full accountability for that. I did change the quote request twice, and initially did not have a firm timeline. Based off my needs now and he was completely rude from the start of our phone calls and emails.] Photography and a quote is not rocket science. Bottom line I am the customer. If it works great, if not move on. But he apparently can’t without emails and more rudeness and attitude. I pride myself on good, honest business, and prefer to pay like-minded people for THEIRSERVICES.(Key word«SERVICE»). TOME, I AMTHECUSTOMER… PAYING. Then sending me more rude emails after I said, «not going to work, because of both of our situations. thanks for your time» and he CONTINUED to be drama. I’d like to think he was frustrated because I initially contacted him a month ago and I could see with uncertainty about my timeline he would be frustrated, but both the first phone calls and initial emails show he’s basically just a different sort of guy. Sorry dude, I’ve already got it handled with my second choice, who we already scheduled just now with and guess what, no attitude. And again a third time, I am so sorry to have wasted your time with two(not three) quotes for a very simple job. I didn’t know 3 quick phone calls, 4 quick emails & quoting was such hard work. hahahaha & peace out. Life’s too short to be such a dick.
