Welcome to San Dieguito Dental Group. Serving the residents of North County since 1998, Dr. Michael LeFebvre founded San Dieguito Dental Group and has assembled a team of dental professionals with decades of combined experience who are dedicated to providing you with a lifetime strategy for dental health. We are a full service group, we can attend to all of your dental needs — from routine preventive care, to implants and Invisalign. Technology has changed dental health for the better.

Dr. LeFebvre, a native Californian, has been practicing modern preventative, family, and cosmetic dentistry in Encinitas since 1998. His practice centers around modern dental techniques to deliver exceptional preventative, family, and cosmetic dentistry. He is passionate about the positive impact that modern dentistry has on improving the dental health of his patients. In professing the «lifetime strategy for optimum dental health» philosophy, Dr LeFebvre centers his practice around helping his patients see «the big picture», identifying the key risk factors that threaten optimum dental health and giving his patients the solutions to maintain their teeth for life.

In his spare time, Dr. LeFebvre enjoys a variety of hobbies including sailing, woodworking, motorcycling, and spending time with his wife, Mischelle, and on the ball field with his two boys, Matthew and Marc.

I came to Dr. Mike’s awesome office 3 years ago with all sorts of dental problems. Dr. Mike and his wonderful team of professionals gave me the confidence that my bridge, implants, crowns, bone grafting and extraction of root canals and old fillings, were being done the right way, using the best of technology. He and his assistants are highly skilled and knowledgeable. They all create a really pleasant atmosphere with excellent, gracious communication. I couldn’t be happier with my experience there. The hour long drive is totally worth it!

I highly recommend Dr. Mike and his staff. I had a «problem tooth» for years and other dentists had no advice. After literally one look at my tooth, Dr. Mike identified the problem (nickel allergy to the porcelain crown that had been put on years ago)! Dr. Mike did outstanding work, and I couldn’t be happier. His hygienists and every person on his staff truly cares. You can trust Dr. Mike and his team!

Dr Mike, his hygenist Catlin Parsons and all of the staff make you feel relaxed and comfortable. By far the best dentist I’ve ever had. The added bonuses of music and movies are a nice distraction. Thank you Catlin for getting my dental care on track. I recommend Dr. Mike to everyone!

So far I have had several visits to this office. First off, this is the first time visiting a dentist in five years for me. After basically being shunned by my previous dentist, and treated poorly when I came in for work to be done, I had such a bad experience. I didn’t even want to finish the six cavities I had left to be ground out and filled. That was five years ago and left me in a shy state coming to these guys. Well, after a cleaning in September, and removal of my wisdom teeth yesterday, I can say I could have not had a better experience. I was not shamed for needing some work done, mostly just a result of taking poor care of myself in my early twenties. They treated me with respect, have helped me set up a game plan/​time line to get the work done I need in a reasonable amount of time that matches my budget and my insurance plan. The work I had done on my wisdom teeth went extremely well, this is considering two of them were horizontally impacted and grown very close to the nerve in my jaw. I was at risk of losing feeling in my jaw after the procedure, either temporary or permanent. While I am still somewhat numb 24 hours later, it has improved and my hopes of recovering fully are very good. I can only thank the talented team that was there to have done such a stellar job. Looking forward to the next calendar year to continue with the rest of my work needed. Thanks guys! You rock.

The staff here are always friendly, and they go out of their way to do follow ups and ensure you are happy. One thing I loved is that they make sure you understand your insurance portion, and everything with billing was always clear and handled well. The work done is high quality, I was lucky to have found this place.

Dr. Mike and his staff are simply the best. If you are like me and don’t necessarily enjoy going to the dentist, you will find their care and attention to be unmatched. I appreciate that they always review the little things that I have mentioned in the past to make me more comfortable. Since firing my last dentist who’s hygienist kept aggravating my tooth and gum sensitivities. A simple conversation with my hygienist (at Dr. Mike’s office) proved to change everything. I changed to a more natural toothpaste and found that my sensitivity was reduced dramatically. If you are on the fence and need a dentist… STOP reading these reviews RIGHT NOW and call Dr. Mike’s office to schedule an appointment. They won’t disappoint!

Dr. Mike, his entire staff, and facility are at the pinnacle of the profession! Mike is a very knowledgeable, and gentle dentist who can make anybody feel more like they’re going to a spa chaise than like going to the electric chair! He’s fulfills all my dental needs without breaking the bank. Great value for great work!
Take one step into the lobby and you begin to expect a doting staff to lead you to a day of relaxation at the spa of the Del Mar Country Club. These large, and luxurious treatment areas don’t typify ordinary dental practices. Every piece of equipment is the most high tech which ensures an accurate, and perfect treatment. I think Steve Jobs designed the computerized everything. Believe me, I’ve had several different types of repairs! The best is to watch a movie while getting your teeth whitened.
I especially like the paperless office and electronic reminders. Saving trees.

I can only say spectacular things about Dr Mike & his team. I was referred here by a periodontist in 2008 as I had extensive dental work from a previous near deadly car accident. Dr Mike is know to be the best. He has since reconstructed my smile and I’ve never felt more confident and more beautiful. I have referred about 5 friends and family members here as well. The entire staff are warm and accommodating. I highly recommend Dr Mike for you and your family’s dental care!

The dentist is not anyone’s favorite place. If you have to go through it, as we all do, Dr. Lefebvre is the man to see. He is very honest, thorough and careful. I have spent more time than I wish in a dentist chair but I feel very comfortable trusting this group. I don’t feel that he pushes any unnecessary treatment on me yet he is open about suggesting preventative measures in order to avoid future problems. Highly recommend this office!

Just switched to San Dieguito dental group and couldn’t have been happier. I went in for a cleaning and left with out any pain or irritation. Caitlin, my hygienist was friendly and extremely through. After getting a few tips on how to better care for my teeth, I left feeling very informed on how to prevent future problems. Dr. Lefebvre was also very friendly, knowledgable and was someone I felt I could trust. The facility was very clean and welcoming. Parking was very good and location was very convenient on El Camino.

Do you love your Dentist? Dr. Mike LeFebvre is second to none! If you’ve never enjoyed going to the dentist it’s time to check out San Dieguito Dental Group. They have a gorgeous facility, it’s luxurious and their staff is excellent. I’ve never experienced a dentist who has taken the time to educate me on my dental health until now.
I originally came to Dr. Mike just to have my teeth whitened but I was so impressed with I switched dentists; I trust him very much! I thought my teeth were in perfect condition, I had a dentist I went to on a regular basis but in reality my teeth were far from perfect.
I had a root canal two years prior to my initial examination with Dr. Mike, his technology is leaps and bounds above the rest. He was able to show me deep down I had an infection where the root canal was done. He referred me to a specialist in Encinitas (who was just as amazing) and what he found horrified me. During my original root canal with my previous dentist, the tip of an instrument broke off and it was left inside me therefore they were not able to go down as deep as they needed to go to properly perform a root canal and I was left with a nasty infection!
If it wasn’t for Dr. Mike and his amazing technology I would not be as healthy as I am today! Thank you very much, I am truly appreciative!

Though Felicity & several other favorites on staff are gone, Dr. Le Febvre knows how to hire. From the front desk to the hygienist to the dentist himself, these are warm, friendly caring dental care providers. I almost look forward to going for my check-​ups! He is very 21st century & relies on the computer for pretty much everything, from appointments to x-​rays.
They also always have «People» and other great mags in the waiting area! The only downside is you have to pay up front & get reimbursed by your insurance later. We have referred several friends all who are very happy
