History

Established in 1986.

In February of 2007 I purchased this long term dental office from a previous dentist who started it in 1986. The business has been around for 30 years. In January of 2014 we moved into our brand new state of the art facility, which is in the same exact business park as the old office, but is now visible from Encinitas Blvd.

My name is Dr. Greg Skeens and I attended Chaffey College for 3 years and then 2 more years at Cal State San Bernardino majoring in Biology. I worked at Frito-​lay paying my own way through college. I graduated with a 3.85 overall GPA. I attended Loma Linda University School of Dentistry for 4 years on a Navy scholarship. I finished all clinical requirements 6 months early and then became a faculty member at the dental school until graduation in May 2001. Upon graduating I completed a one year Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) residency. Then I spent two years deployed with a marine unit where I was the sole Dentist for 2,220 marines overseas on a ship and in Kuwait, Iraq, and Kenya. During this deployment I providing several hundred native people with Humanitarian dental care. After the Navy I purchased my office in Feb 2007 in Encinitas. Seven years later we moved into our brand new state of the art facility in January 2014.
