Wow! Dave is amazing! Fast — Honest and Great price! Thank you!

My computer hard drive crashed and of course I had not backed it up :(And to make matters more complicated my computer was encrypted so it did not want to be recovered. Dave did an amazing job getting the computer decrypted which was quite a process and not only did he recover everything he was able to upgrade the operating system and the computer is running better than it did when it was new. It was money well spent because it saved me from having to spend hours and hours on the phone with Symantec and Dell which is about as pleasant as having a root canal. Thanks Dave you did an awesome job and I will be using you for any computer issues in the future!

We had a badly corrupted photo memory card. Dave recovered the photos and put them on a thumb drive for us. He can talk the basics or get as technical as you want. Super job.

Went to the Apple Store for my MacBook Pro. I needed a new touchpad. When I heard they would keep my computer 2 days, and I couldn’t spare that time, they suggested I try an independent repair place. Went to Unilocal and found Dave. Gave him a call and he was super nice and helpful over the phone. It just happened that he had a touchpad and he installed it quickly. He is very considerate. I didn’t have to make the trip back to him in Friday traffic. Thank you Unilocal and thank you Dave! You made my life easier :)

Completely satisfied. Can’t believe it took me so long to bring my laptop in, picked up all sorts of problems letting my teenage niece and nephew play on it. It works like a dream again. I now have my go to spot with anything computer related.

The guys there is named Dave he seems like a really great guy very easy to talk to /​he speaks clearly and understandably and lets you know exactly what it is you need to do. he offers advice that you can understand.

Dave is amazing! I was skeptical as to whether this would be worthwhile or not. Dave worked magic on our sad old family desktop computer. It’s back and faster than ever without all the errors and virus issues we have had for years. When I called with a follow up question, he explained in an easy, clear manner. Very easy to work with and thorough. He really went above and beyond to do the job right.

Much to my surprise my 3 year old MacBook Pro crashed. I didn’t want to deal with the Apple store. I found Dave at CPSolvers had great reviews so I gave him a try. I couldn’t have found a nicer individual to do business with. He fixed my computer a few weeks ago and it’s humming along. Not only is he efficient but he is reasonably priced. I would highly recommend him to family and friends.

Fixed my slow running laptop so well I took my desktop unit in two days later. New hard drive with a ‘ghost image’ transferred, per suggestion, worked well. So for basically $ 180 I’ve got a new computer with everything working fine. Now I’ve got so much more space to work with, thanks Dave.

I would give 6 stars if I could. They were fast, very easy to talk to, and were so patient with me basically freaking out that my hard drive crashed and my entire business was on that computer. I walked out of the Geek Squad at Best Buy pretty upset and straight over to them. The diagnosis and price was spot on. So lucky to have these guys as a resource.

I was super satisfied, with the result! My MacBook hard drive crashed and wouldn’t load and Apple said I may loose all of my data. Photos from the last ten years of my life. I was petrified
The staff at CPS knew what I was going through and told me they might be able to recover my data. After a few days I got a call back. They installed a new hard drive and recovered all my data.
The whole thing cost $ 333 included the new hard drive. Not cheap, but certainly worth the data I may have lost.
Their great ratings are justly earned.

MEET «THE BEAST»
We use our system as a professional video editing suite and it is a dream of a video game development machine. Our 75W ASUS Notebook system was named «The Beast» by one of the developers of Visual Effects for Film in the successful tv series «The Newsroom» on HBO; after we worked on a contract generating 3D graphics for them. They saw it perform magically and without a sweat, several 3D calculation while at the same time playing a sweet online video game cracked up to max on all shadows and graphics! AND… while also having several Adobe’s creative cloud programs open at the same time.
After enjoying the system for a few months, and on our way back from a successful business trip to Naples, Florida; the laptop would no longer reboot at all.
(We are also considering never flying with it ever again…)
We brought in our Asus Notebook to Dave, owner of «Computer Problem Solvers» a computer repair business located in Encinitas, California to have him take a look.
GREAT DISAPPOINTMENT TURNS INTO HOPE
We were at a loss for words just thinking about what we would do without our system. It is our business’ bread winner. Replacing it was not an option we wanted to consider at that point; and we had been extremely happy with its performance. After a few hours, Dave quickly identified the problem as being caused by a faulty motherboard and called us to report the issue.
Dave suggested exploring the option of sending the notebook to the manufacturer after noticing that it may still be under warranty. He did everything for us, he contacted them, shipped «The Beast» to the manufacturer and kept us informed regularly. After a few weeks, the issue was resolved and the cost for all that trouble was very reasonable. (Dave really knows his info.)
ABOVE AND BEYOND, THE CALL OF DUTY!
Suddenly one morning, «The Beast» stopped booting up again. It would only work if restarted. We took it back to Dave and he received it with a smile. He has a great attitude and in business, attitude is EVERYTHING! he quickly suggested we change the Start up button’s circuit board. He conducted all the research, found the part online, purchased it and kept us abreast of all pertinent information in regards to the shipping and installment of the parts and…
«The Beast» would not start up.
WE CALL THIS, GREAT SERVICE!
So Dave again, suggested contacting ASUS; the manufacturer. Because after changing the Startup button’s circuit board and replacing it with brand new parts, he then knew for certain, the new motherboard was causing the problem again.
He spoke with a supervisor at ASUS, shipped the computer back, negotiated all repairs (which were still under warranty and at no extra cost.) and because of the holidays there was a bit of a delay… without hesitation and because we needed a loaner laptop… yes, Dave came to the rescue and let us borrow one of his computers which made a huge difference in the world!
Oh and… we are writing this note as a huge Thank You! to Dave because not only did Dave NOT charge us for the use of his loaner computer, he also did not charge for the «Startup circuit board» parts either.

Dave went way above and beyond the call of duty.
When my MacBook Pro became unhinged… and so did I… Dave took it in, comforted me and gave me an estimate. When it became obvious that there was more to the problem than he had anticipated, rather than charge me an additional few hundred bucks and up the price of the repair, he actually purchased a replacement MacBook Pro AT HIS EXPENSE. Then fulfilled the job at his original estimate. I’m sure he made next to nothing for his efforts… other than a loyal customer for life! Amazing integrity and service.
