Place is a joke. Use garbage parts (and charge your insurance as if they are using OEM parts) the paint blend looked so bad I had to ask about it. The guy mother F’ed me out the door for questioning it. (I know nothing about body work) took the car elsewhere and they pointed out all the imperfections. My insurance company paid for the fix from the second body shop and dropped these jokers as a client. If you care how your car looks I wouldn’t even drive by this place. I’m sure all the 5 star reviews are fake. If you for some reason have to drive by this place just look at it. It’s a dump!

The work they do is better than anybody I’ve seen. The customer service is also a five star from start to finish. My 2011 Toyota sienna looks like a brand-​new car again. You would never know was hit in the back!!! My Mustang is on its way there Monday

Last May (I know, I’m a little late), my rear bumper was smashed and I was refusing to let the other guy’s insurance pick the body shop. A family member suggested to come here. After the paper work was finally completed, I put my trust in International. It took a month and almost five grand of work, but my car came out like brand new! The new parts and paint matched perfectly and it drove great after. I would definitely refer this place to a friend.

I have a Toyota Solara convertible that is 7 years old. The top was not latching properly which caused a whistling when driven over 30 mph, and water to pour in during a car wash. i took it for an estimate to another place and after spending 2 minutes looking at it — quoted me $ 1800 to fix it. My Toyota dealership recommended Int’l Body Shop. I walked in with a bit of a chip on my shoulder because I was sure they were going to take advantage of me… could not have been MORE WRONG! They gave me an estimate, but said they couldn’t be sure how extensive until they took it apart — cue skepticism! Not only did they fix the problem for around $ 200 — they were a delight to work with! They have earned a customer for life!

We have had 5 cars repaired now at International Body in Elmhurst. Their work is first class, they always use the best parts and their prices are very reasonable. I have dealt with Charles and a few other folks there who are very honest and trustworthy. If there was ever a problem with something they worked on (seldom) they stand behind their work.
THis is another place I drive to all the way from Lombard because their workmanship is great.

The work at International was top notch. My wife backed into my car with her truck (not on purpose!) and it caused some body damage on the front right side of my car. They came out and did an estimate, an estimated time frame, etc.
When I got the car back, I could not tell it had ever been in an accident and the car looked like it was completely brand new. Could not recommend them more highly (…maybe I could if it was free). Honest, great work… which can be elusive in this industry, is what you get.

Admittedly, having to go to a body shop is rarely something one wants to do — which is why it’s really important to find a good one that you can rely on to make things right/​good as new.
Our family has had cars repaired/​repainted by International five or six times over nearly a decade and only had one issue which they fixed promptly. They’ve been able to match difficult colors that have had some sun fading and gotten it right every time.
They’re good enough that we continue to go to them even though we live in the city now and it’s easily a 40 minute drive to get there…

Someone rear-​ended my wife’s car. Our insurance company recommended International Body Shop. The insurance company of the guy who hit my wife’s car recommended another place. The ‘other’ place didn’t seem to place a high value on customer service or friendliness. They made me feel like I was bothering them by bringing my car there. And I had to wait about a week to get my estimate. I then went to International Body Shop for an estimate. They were friendly and I left with an estimate about 15 mins after I arrived. Although the other place was significantly cheaper, I chose to go with International. I got my car back in a few short days. The repairs were great and the car was so clear inside and out it looked like I had it detailed. They even gave me a loner car for convenience while my car was in. We’ll see how the repairs hold up, but for now I’m very pleased and would bring my car there again.

I don’t get what it is with these guys. I have given International Body Shop two times to impress me and both times they have left me wanting more. And trust me– I am no car expert but I know quality workmanship when I see it.
The fleet company that manages my company car uses this place when those «dings», and «drats», and «bumps» happen to one of our company cars. While they are buttoned up on the front end in terms of scheduling the work, the actual work seems to be a little shortchanged.
Case in point. A few years ago– my car had a run in with a telephone pole and needed some back quarter panel work. I took my car here to have it repaired. It came out looking shiny and new yet within a few months– I had a crack in the new paint job. Fast forward a couple of years and I took the same car to another body shop to fix some rust– and they told me they had to re-​do the back quarter panel to fix that crack. Some of the under work had not been done properly. Really?
And now again last week. I once again was directed by my fleet company to take a different company car in to get a cracked bumper fixed and to touch up some scratches on the one side.
When I picked the car up– they had painted the bumper the wrong color. The wrong color! And that touch up paint? A 2^nd grader could have been more diligent in «coloring between the lines»! And maybe if the paint had matched– I would not have been able to see the poor job. I find it ridiculous with all the paint codes and computer chips — etc that they could pick the wrong color. So now my «dual tone» car has to go back in and be re-​painted. Urrgh!
I don’t ask for much. I want quality work done at the price quoted. I have spoken to my fleet contact to tell them of the dissatisfaction with this place and I hope for either an improvement in the work done– or a change in who services one of the largest fleets of company cars in the area. I don’t think it’s too much to ask.
