History

Established in 1938.

Otis Shafter Aaron initially established the orchard as a method of caring for his family and farm, and it quickly bloomed into a successful enterprise for him and his four sons. Jack Aaron eventually took over the orchard after Shafter deemed it was time to retire. Jack ran the orchard and the Apple House until he passed away in 1999. His wife, Dorothy Aaron, then assumed control until she passed away in 2006. After her passing her two Children, Diane Aaron Bowen, and Alan Jack Aaron, entered into a temporary partnership in which Alan eventually bought the other half of the business. Alan, and his wife Mary, along with their three children, Stephen, Joshua, and Sarah, now own, run and maintain the orchard as well as the Apple House.
