Tucked away in a valley with mountains like the iconic farm you see on so many products the difference being this is an actual farm not a factory pumping out animals raised in terrible conditions. No this is a farm doing it the right way and then allowing you to purchase the great product that results from proper care and raising of the animals. We visited on the way back home after a weekend cabin trip, the two ladies working were super nice and knowledgable!(I’m horrible at remembering names, sorry). They answered all our questions and let us same without making us feel rushed at all. Got some pork, bacon, butter and eggs. They do ship as well so I will be taking advantage of that! Note they do not do farm tours

Great local business. My daughter loved the animals and especially the ice cream! They have a great selection of meats, butter, cheeses, pickles, raw milk and eggs. Definitely stop in if in the area!

This was a great place to stop on our drive from Chattanooga to the North Georgia mountains. A super sweet lady gave us a nice tour of the little petting zoo area and gave plenty of great information. My kids really enjoyed it. The pasture where the cows are is beautiful. We weren’t able to buy much since this was the first day of our five night trip but everything looked great.

Lovely place to visit. The farm is beautiful, the Farm Store clean, airy, and well stocked. The ladies behind the counter were very friendly and helpful. They carry farm eggs, pet milk, fresh butter and cheese, as well as a large selection of grass feed beef and pork. The store also has a nice variety of pickled veggies, jams, honey, and natural food books. Give the goats a little scratch and don’t forget the piggies around the back side — they like a little rub between the ears.

I love this place! I love the farm fresh brown eggs! They have milk, butter and cheeses too. My family loves the fresh homemade ice cream. Especially the brown sugar maple bacon ice cream! You can pick up great sauces and local honey. The cook books are great. They also have some gourmet kitchen items for cooking. Pricey but nice! Don’t forget to look at the sheet at the counter with all they’re local farm fresh meats that don’t get any fresher! They have it all! My kids love going out to see the petting farm with horses, pigs, goats etc. go and enjoy!

If you’re looking for free range pork(delicious!) and grass fed beef(double delicious!) take a ride to Mountain Valley Farm. There’s a lot to be said about animals raised in a humane environment with no hormones, no antibiotics, no pesticides. The store is open daily, and carries jams, eggs, cheese and the most fantastic woks — Lazarus Woks — made from repurposed farm equipment.(I can’t believe how perfectly it cooks!) Despite a baby goat nibbling on my sweater, I got a kick out of seeing all the farm animals. The beautiful country setting and proximity to Atlanta make this a place I will certainly come back to.

If you’re looking for 100% grass fed beef and free range, pastured pork, this is your place! They also have raw, unpasteurized milk(for pets), pastured eggs, a great selection of real cheeses and a lot more. The ladies who work there are very nice and go to great lengths to explain their different cuts of meat and what they have available. It’s also a fun day trip for the family, it’s only about an hour north of metro Atlanta and they have animals for the kids to see and interact with. I take the family there about once a month to load up on meat and cheese. In case you’re wondering, I am in no way affiliated with this store, other than a happy customer. :-)
