Hands down, the BEST auto body shop in the South Bay. John is Magnifient in all ways! Couldn’t be more pleased with their work.

I want to give this place a 3.5 but I liked the people who worked there so I will eek it up to a 4. The work was well done and done in a timely manner. I had a hit-​and-​run on my SUV bumper and it needed to be replaced. This was my first time at an autobody shop but a week to replace the bumper and taillight doesn’t seem bad at all.
So why the 3.5 stars? Well, the inside of my car smells like paint and there are stains on the carpet of my trunk that look like paint splatters from spraying. I tried to remove them but the carpet is discolored around those spots now. I have a dog so the carpet area wasn’t pristine but it wasn’t stained. I am sad, but happy to have my car back. So yeah, that knocked their rating down.
But I would probably go back. Maybe. They did a good job on my car.
Just take off any car magnets you have because mine was accidentally lost. Not a big deal for me, but if you really like yours, remove it.

Do not waste your time dealing with this «collision center». This was the third place I went to for an estimate for a little scratch. They refused to give me a quote because I did not want them to order a new bumper (the bumper was not damaged). I told him that I would order it and change it myself if needed. This guy proceed to tell me he was going to charge me to removed the bumper. The previous places I visited did not mention the bumper at all. I insisted he only give me an estimate for the scratch so I can better compare it to the estimates I had gotten from other collision centers. He said «The way you want to do it, I can’t give you a quote» and walked away. Totally unprofessional. I don’t understand how you plan to run a business but refuse to give out a quote.

An honest Auto Body shop? Here it is. John is compassionate and honest, he’s not out to get the work or your (insurance) money.
My beautiful brand new Jeep wrangler was smashed while parked and needless to say it was distressing. As I was being jerked around by both mine and the 3^rd party insurance companies, John was patient and made the experience less stressful.
Ultimately they decided to total the car but should I have any body shop future needs (I hope not) I will definitely go back to El Segundo Auto Body!

From day one John and his team were phenomenal. They came and picked up my car while I was at work, and called me within 24 hours with a few issues with my car that I was unaware of at the time of the accident. They were communicative, thorough, and very customer service oriented. As someone new to LA and having gone through something like this the day I got here, I was pleasantly surprised with the level of service I got! I picked my car up today and was absolutely thrilled! The car looked like it did the day I drove it off the lot a year ago. They had washed it, hand dried it, even cleaned the tires and hub caps by hand. The interior smells like they cleaned that too. They definitely went above and beyond any experience I’ve ever had with a body shop and I will definitely refer people to them, and should I ever need them again (hopefully not) I would go straight back! OH! And he warranties his work, so win win!!!
Thank you John and team for fixing my Cherry up as good as new for me!!!

I couldn’t be happier to give a shout-​out to El Segundo Auto Body and their staff who are great! I got rear ended twice in two months, the second time being a couple of days before my appointment to get the damage from the first accident repaired. John Rios took care of everything from seamlessly coordinating the two claims, coordinating with the adjuster, arranging for my rental car and having me driven to pick it up, restoring my car to new, all the while keeping me up-​to-​date on the progress. It could have been a real insurance mess with the overlapping claims but it wasn’t thanks to John’s taking care of it all.

Took my 2001 BMW there after I rear ended someone. Thought the car was going to be totaled, but my insurance company was willing to pay for the repairs. The car looks outstanding, best it’s looked in years. The turn around time was quick and I couldn’t be more happy with the quality of the work and the customer service. Read Unilocal reviews before I took it there, happy to say this is the place to go when in need.

I’ve had my car fixed twice by el segundo auto body and delt with John both times and they always do exceptional work!

We took our car there because state farm recommended it, some one hit our car and they had state farm, I think they work to make the insurance happy to keep getting work, they only replaced one of my front grills when both of the were broken, they didn’t paint the inside of the hood or the sides, they polished the car but left all the dust everywhere, there was polish residue every where, and the polish job wasn’t that great I can see the orange peel paint, horrible horrible,

We went there to get estimate for State Farm for someone who hit us. They gave us one price that they said they would fax to State Farm but then send a lower price by almost $ 250 to State Farm. Very misleading. Also, they operate out of an alley not a private parking spot, which resulted into my rimms getting scratched because of the high curb, and looking how to find them.

I got into an accident and was looking for a close auto body place to my work. The mgr gave me a ride to Enterprise Rental for my rental car and picked me up after I dropped the rental off. Great customer service and excellent body work.

My friend bent part of his wheelchair when he ran into a curb. The folks at El Segundo Auto Body kindly bent the piece back into shape and welded it to strengthen the joint. This is excellent customer service. Thank you for helping my friend in need.

Last year some jerk on the 405 decided he wanted my lane while I was still in it and crashed into my car and damaged my driver side front quarter panel.
My husband recommend I take my car to El Segundo Auto Body as his dad had taken his car there & was happy with the repairs. John and his team did a fantastic job on my 350z and went above and beyond when he cleaned up the haze I had on my right headlight (the driver side was broken from crash) even though the scumbags at Nissan wanted to charge me $ 2500 to replace them! A couple of weeks ago my son was in an accident so I suggested he take his truck to ESAB and John «wowed» my son with the repairs he did on the truck. Again they paid attention to detail when they painted the hood emblem to match the wheels!!!
If you’re looking for an honest repair shop that can get you back in your vehicle and on the road in a reasonable amount of time, THIS IS THE PLACE!

After getting my driver side keyed by a f*cking a$$hole, I decided to get it fixed. It is after all, a brand new car. Didn’t want to be reminded of this douche everytime I drive.
Unilocal to the rescue around my work! This place had nice reviews, including one from Paula B about scratches, so naturally I called for a quote. John was nice enough to inform me about buffing and sanding and said to bring it in.
Drove over to the shop off El Segundo Blvd, and had John take a look. There was a few deep gashes he was worried might not come out, but ultimately he said for $ 75 he’ll sand and buff out the scratch in a couple hours.
Fast forward. I come to pick up my car a few hours later. The long scratch along the door is gone!!! Woohoo!!! Like impeccably gone. Untraceable gone. The only scratch left was by the gas tank lid, where there’s a little reminiscence of the scratch (but not his fault, it was too deep down to the paint).
Overall, he did a quick awesome job! Definitely will recommend.

I found this place because of Unilocal.I had someone back into my car while we were exiting a shopping plaza. Luckily the damage wasn’t too bad, all that needed to be replaced was the bumper. The guy who backed into me paid for everything.
I went with El Segundo Auto body because they took the time to answer any questions I had, and told me about what kind of paint they use; I was able to inspect other cars there to see their quality of work. It looked nice.
I had just come to El Segundo Auto Body after leaving another body shop nearby. I asked the other body shop how long it would take to replace the bumper in the car and they estimated that it would take a couple days. I asked them what a couple days were and they said a couple days were a couple days. So, I asked them is that two days? Three days? Four days? They told me a couple days were two days. Well thanks. Why couldn’t they have said that in the first place since couple could mean different things to who you ask.
Anyways, back to El Segundo Auto Body.. . I like them because they were pretty good with keeping in contact with me through email. They were able to complete the repairs in the amount of time they told me it would take. The price they quoted to repair the car was pretty good compared to other body shops I’ve been too, although they were not the cheapest. They were better.
The paint job was pretty good in the sun; you couldn’t see any spots or paint drippings. And the bumper fit onto the car well, meaning the seams didn’t bulge out so you could tell it was replaced. I would come back here.
Oh yeah, I also like that this body shop didn’t have a bunch of fake reviews. You can tell when a business has lots of fake negative as well as positive reviews.

I had a tree branch fall on my car and rip my front bumper off in El Segundo, we picked El Segundo Auto Body because it was close and they worked with our insurance company. They were very friendly and had my car done in less than a week and they did a great job.

You get what you pay for. Excellent service. My car looks like new. Thank you!!!

I’ve had my car in with John two times in the past year, once after a major front end collision and again to replace multiple windows after vandalism. Both times have been absolutely excellent. They worked well with the insurance company that was provided, they worked quickly, and I have had zero issues in a year after the collision.
The glass work I did outside of insurance because his price was excellent (I checked) and almost half my deductible. Not only that, but he replaced both windows in one afternoon for me. They do great work, at a great price, really quickly, and are always friendly with me.
I will definitely be bringing them any future auto damage problems, but here’s hoping that’s not often!

El Segundo Auto Body provides excellent service and quality. The Manager, John Rios, is quick and efficient. He was itemizing and ordering parts before the insurance claim was even approved.
The best part is that when he estimated how long it would take to finish the job, he actually beat it.
I have been here twice already (unfortunately), and have been recommending this place to my friends.
