DO NOT GET YOUR CAR REPAIRED HERE — they have no idea how to handle business or how to fix their own cars. They also like to tell you how normal it is for everything to make noise and rattle. Blame the customer before you even hear the problem!

Moved from Texas to Southern California. While car shopping I stopped at glen e Thomas. I was greeted by a very nice host who took me to my sales man Hugo Paredes. Hugo has to be one of the most amazing sales man ever. He was able to take good care me. I was upside down on my car loan he found a car with the most rebates. He later brought in his manager Luke to help with the deal. At the end of the day Hugo and Luke made a deal happen and I couldn’t be happier. Out of all the dealerships in long beach glen e Thomas Dodge is the best one. Go in a ask for Hugo you won’t regret it.

This place is a joke. My car has been there over two weeks. I call last week for an update because for some reason a WINDSHIELD cannot be replace in an appropriate amount of time. I have spoken to the person in charge of the service department– waste of time. Been trying to deal w a Mike Lopez who doesn’t return my phone calls. Terrible customer service. Whoever answers the phone here? Rude. RETRAIN YOUR TERRIBLE STAFF! I bought my first brand new car from here and it was the BIGGEST MISTAKE. Never come here. Do not buy your vehicle from these people, do not allow them to service your car. I don’t understand how they have even remotely good reviews I have had a terrible experience here and will never purchase another jeep due to the terrible service I have received.

I have never had a problem having my vehicle service here until today. I was the only car when I pulled up for just a oil change. My car was sitting there for close to 30 mins. Later another car pulled up right behind for a oil change too. They took there car in. When I ask why
did they go in before me, I’ve been waiting for almost 30 mins they just said, sorry we had a mixed up. How can u have a mix up if I was the only car waiting for almost 30 mins. I left and went somewhere else.

Love this place and Peter was very helpful and attentative! I don’t like how my car was only worth $ 2,500 when i know i could have sold my car for a better price! And my new car keeps having glitches, and for an oil change it costs $ 70! I’m not happy.

Bought a new vehicle from them about a week ago and decided I’ve cooled off enough to write a fair review. This dealership needs to learn a little more about what good customer service looks like. I’ve purchased quite a few cars from major car dealerships and the experience I had last week was seriously lacking… well, everything. Albeit, the salesman I had was still fairly new at selling cars, most of our conversation was awkward, so I felt like I had to lead everything. Is that supposed to be a no pressure approach? Because it felt more like they didn’t really want my business. I guess that should have been my cue to just leave, but when I have a particular car in my mind, it’s hard to let it go. Anyway, the sales manager came to help when it was time to talk numbers, so I figured ok now it’s time for the excitement to happen. Somebody is gonna come over with some energy and be happy I came in because supposedly everybody is hoping to get a bonus from the end of the month/​quarter sales. AAAANNTTT! wrong! We’re all pretty much staring at each other with blank faces. Pretty much like a, do you want the car or not, type attitude. Is it because of my race? Is it because I didn’t come in my best clothes so I must not be serious about buying a car? During the test drive I inquired if there was any room for negotiation on the price of the car. Salesman said yes. Sales manager said no when asked at the desk. Oh btw, why are we talking all out in the open lobby and not at a real desk/​office? Guess I wasn’t worth one. Oh btw, why is your decision making manager just staring at me from his office, looking like he’s just judging me by how I look whenever the salesmen came in to talk to him about my questions. Anyway, yes, I did end up buying the car, despite all of that, only because it was the car I wanted. Even after I was nearly plowed down after leaving the restroom by someone who works there — without an excuse me or sorry, I might add. After that I figured maybe I should at least ask for some type of freebie since I specifically told them how I felt. Maybe a hat? Lunch bag? Floor mats? (That would have been nice since the car didn’t even come with any.) Something?! Salesman goes and asks, comes back and says no. Wow… ok. Finance lady, also rude, but let’s not go there.
Overall, I will not be recommending anyone spend their money there. Buying a car, especially new is a major decision and a big ticket item, that should not be taken lightly. And either the people here don’t know how to show good customer service or they are so worried about holding on to every last penny that nothing else matters. I purposely did not name the people who helped me because if the dealership cares anything about their company image, then they will share this with all of the sales people and hopefully try a little harder with the next person.

I had an amazing experience at this dealership. I originally just came by one day to check out an older model wrangler I was eye balling online. I was helped by Mike he let me check the inside out offered a test drive but I declined I didn’t really have time. He asked for my contact info to keep in contact if I had time another day to come give it a test drive.
Mike messaged me a day or two later checking to see if I could come by I scheduled an appointment that weekend but had to cancel and reschedule for the next day which I cancelled again. It took me three days to find my way back and Mike was patient and didn’t give me a threatening trying to make a quick sell vibe. This is where he gained my trust. It was a great to start my car buying journey. Once I came in I already let him know I was now interested in the renegade that made shopping way easier we already had our connection and he already knew what I was looking for.
Once I arrived I was greeted by the «greeter girls»; very nice touch doesn’t seem so threatening and like a sales man is going to pounce on you as soon as you step out of the car. The «greeter girls» went and called Mike and let him know I was there and ready to be helped. He introduced himself to my mom and I and guided is straight to my vehicle of choice. I was offered the test drive and the ride was perfect I got the feeling of an adventure driving up and down the signal hill. Once I picked my vehicle we talked number it was very easy to talk with Mike and let him know what I wanted.
Randy was the person that brought back my golden ticket he went over the «deal» calm, slow and multiple times for my mom who had millions of questions to understand the «deal» presented. We were given time to talk privately and discuss if the deal was one we would except and room for negotiation was available. After the amazing interest rate and rebated offered for the vehicle I was sold.
Alice handled the bible of paper work to be signed by myself. She was amazing as well I had my toddler and she had paper and crayons to help keep him occupied while we handled the paperwork.
All in all I had an amazing car buying experience. I highly recommend Mike, Randy, and Alice they made my experience a pleasure.

My car is still in the service dept. It’s been there 3 weeks now. I went there today, and the service advisor was off, and no one else had any info to let me know what is happening with my car.

I had the best car buying experience of my life at this great dealership! All the staff I came into contact with was friendly, helpful and genuine. I didn’t feel any pressure to buy at all. They were accommodating and really worked to get me the best price on my used vehicle. I will be telling everyone I know who’s in the market for a new or used vehicle to consider this dealership first! Thank you Hugo, Luke and Alice for making my dream car a reality!!!

We just bought a Grand Cherokee yesterday. I have to say that working with Peter Ramirez was great. His costumer service is amazing. He was very patient and answered all of my husbands questions as well as mine. He was honest and truthful with all his answers. He made our experience in buying a car great. I recommend Peter to anyone who is interested in buying a car.

Have to give credit where credit is due for DAN in Service. Took our 2001 Dodge Ram 2500 in for a check-​engine light, and might as well do the maintenance… Not sure what we were expecting on the check-​engine light, but pleasantly surprised with the diagnosis, repair & timeliness of work done. We even got a small discount after I presented a coupon, and Dan gave us a bit more than the coupon offered. Three families have been going to Glenn E Thomas for many years, and this kind of stuff keeps us coming back, even if it is not on «every» service.

So about a month a half ago I had some mechanical issues with my new 2015 jeep Cherokee. Upon multiple attempts to get it fixed at the dealer, TOM gave me a call and took care of the situation. He has exceptional customer service and definitely took care of the situation. Although it took multiple attempts, I’m glad my car got fixed. They ordered the parts necessary and made sure everything was taken care of.
Overall, I’m very pleased. I hope I don’t have any future problems with the car. So far it’s been great! Thanks for taking care of the issue!!! :)

I bought a new Jeep Wrangler in 2014. The process of getting the car was a bit daunting, they dragged it out for about 6 hours. It was my first car purchase in the US and they managed to sneak a 2K maintenance contract in there that I overlooked. A different employee later told me: «We got you there» with a grin on his face.
I had a good experience with the maintenance department till about 2 weeks ago. The breaks of my Jeep were squeaking and the an oil pressure sensor was defective. What they said would be a 2 hour repair turned out to become a 12 hour ordeal till it got fixed. Unfortunately, 2 weeks and ~$ 300 later (rotor replacement) my brakes are screaming again…
Very disappointing.

I want to commend the staff at Glenn E. Thomas for their exceptional staff and customer service. I’d like to specifically acknowledge Hugo, Steve and Cindy for all their patience and guidance through the entire car buying experience. They were not only professional and kind, but also showed true compassion understanding when helping me come to a price that was comfortable for me. 1. The prices here to get an oil change, filter, replace a vape canister, diagnostics, and top off services ended up being $ 200 – 300 cheaper than the 3 other places I got a quote for and that INCLUDES PepBoys.
2. I got here super late, literally 5min before closing. And altho I wasn’t informed that I was missing a brake light over the phone… in speaking with Tom he was able to have one of his team members replace the bulb so I wouldn’t have to drive home at night with a tail light out, risking the chance of a ticket.
3. Laura stayed behind til the job was done, even though the shop was closed.
4. They gave me a free car wash!

I appreciate your comment but you have the story all wrong. Instead of doing the recall work your crew went over my vehicle and gave me an estimate of $ 2700 for repairs they deemed necessary. When I asked about doing the recall work I was told they would do it at the same time they did the $ 2700 worth of work.
My appointment was to have the recall work done and if they wanted to try and get me to spend money they should have done the work they were supposed to do first and then try to get me to spend my money.
Quite simply, they had time to do the recall work but they chose to do the diagnostic work first because they wanted money out of me more than they wanted to do the recall work. That’s why I will never do business with your people again.

The last couple of times I have come here to get my Jeep serviced I have been severely disappointed. A couple months back I came to get my oil changed, and then they had informed me that I had a rear main seal leak, I had asked for them to provide me with an estimate to get it fixed and was told it would be around $ 700+. In shock from the sticker price, I told them I would look around first and get some other estimates. I then went over to Herb’s Automotive around the corner, and he had informed that I did not have a rear main seal leak, but there were a couple of gaskets leaking and told me all they would have to do to perform the work and the price which was just under $ 400.
I was a bit livid that one the dealership misdiagnosed my vehicle’s problem, and two if I wasn’t as wise as I am I could of had them do the work and been swindled. Worst of all the actual problem wouldn’t of been fixed. I did call into the service manager to let him know what had happened, and he had informed me that the guy that gave me the info plus the oil service tech aren’t even allowed to make those kind of calls and I should have never been quoted.
I decided to go back for my next oil change (It is pretty cheap at the dealership), my check engine light happened to be on also I was due for a tune up so I had asked to get a quote. He said it would cost me $ 75 to have them check my engine light, which I scoffed at… Really $ 75, to plug in a computer and you already have my car in for the oil change? (Mind you I just recently got something in the mail from them for a «FREE Check Engine Light Test») I told him that was too much, and I would just have the guys at my work check. Then one of the other service managers decided to chime in and make a rude comment. He then quoted me $ 270 to change out my spark plugs (Tune Up), which I decided to pass on too. Since luckily my Jeep doesn’t need a special tool to get out the spark plugs and the parts only cost $ 40 I opted to have my boyfriend take care of it.
All the misinformation and overcharging that could happen here is astounding, I will no longer be bring my Jeep here even if they do have cheap oil changes. Also, the service managers were rather rude, and ain’t nobody got time for that.

Took my Jeep in for service due to an electrical issue. Found the problem. great! Got back in the car and the engine light is on. Go back in to talk about why the engine light is on the response I Get is «well you did not tell us to check that out» «and it’s probably from your dead battery.»
Soooo I come here to walk out with another problem and then they tell me I did not ask for them to check it out? There are some good people here at the jeep location but the service is just not up to par. After I drove my car to auto zone to see if I needed a new battery the guy lifts the hood and the air vent that connects Into the air filter is completely off. And my battery checks out to be fine. So in short, I wish I would have just worked on my car myself or taken it elsewhere. Time to take my jeep to another place.

I just bought a 2015 Ram 1500 at Glenn E Thompson. The staff here worked really hard to get the deal done. I saw so many different trims and styles and they would always show me any truck with no problems and a smile. When it came for my trade in value, they gave me a very fair price. When it was time to work out the payment… again they worked with me. I tell you, I would recommend them to anyone and everyone. Very honest people here. Ask for Tony or to be honest I think anyone here would work hard for you. By the way I love the no hidden fees. If your looking for a Ram, Dodge or Jeep head their way. You will be so happy you did.
