Real Estate is in my blood. My family has been in Real Estate since before I was born. I had my license in Virginia before I moved to CA and have been helping buyers and sellers in South Bay for over 10 years.

Buying or selling a home can be a very stressful experience, but not when you have Ed MacLaughlin representing you! I’m so thankful I was introduced to him by friends. He is extremely professional, knowledgable, customer service oriented and a great negotiator! I felt like I was his only client when I’ve worked with him, but I know that isn’t the case.
He has an extensive network and seems to be «in the know» of everything in the market and was able to advise me of properties he thought might be coming to market that I could preview if interested.
I can’t recommend Ed enough if you’re thinking of buying or selling in the South Bay! He really makes the process of buying and selling as smooth as it can be. I will only call him for any of my future real estate transactions!!!

You hire a realtor to guide you through a crazy, stressful experience. They should be an expert, detailed and aligned with your needs. Ed was exactly that.
I was getting married in six months and wanted to explore selling my condo. My thoughts were that I would need to get my popcorn ceilings scraped, install hardwood and make other improvements. Of course, the dollar signs scared me.
Ed came in to do a survey and informed me that I should immediately put my home on the market as-​is. He was educated enough on the local market to know that there was a surplus of buyers and limited inventory. Aside from «de-​cluttering,» I was able to go straight to market. And… my place had multiple offers within the first weekend on market! Thanks to Ed, my condo was put on market at the right price, at the right time. In fact, I got more than list for it.

I met Ed on an Open House showing and told him I have been looking to buy a house for the past 5 years. I’ve seen over 40 listings with no success.
Ed took me to see 2 properties, I liked both. He put in an strong offer for me but well below the asking price, which I thought was risky. But in the end he got me the house, at an amazing low price, and on top of that he managed to get a little extra towards termite.
I have to admit I didn’t believe this was possible but he got it and I am a very happy home owner. in just 30 days we closed escrow.
He guided me through the process with patience and professionalism.

Ed was really great to work with. I’m very particular in what I wanted, and liked to talk it out. He was a great listener, and then when directly asked, gave a opinion to direct me. He’s really good at reading people. A really good friend recommended him, and it worked out really well.
The absolute best is he’s a great communicator. Every moment of the day he answered. He responded to text, emails, phone calls without hesitation. This is crucial in this tough market. I thought that the process of buying a home was going to be difficult and stressful, but having Ed removed a lot of that pressure. Ed is very easy to talk to and super easy to reach. Ed is a professional and I highly recommend him to anyone looking to buy or sell a house.
Being a hands on kind of guy, Ed gave me some space in the beginning to figure out which houses I wanted to see, but then was aggressive in getting out there to see them with me. After I found the house I wanted and we made an offer, there was some heated negotiation with the seller over the price at the eleventh hour. Ed was my intermediary the whole time and helped me feel comfortable. I would definitely go with Ed again if I’m ever in the market in the South Bay.

We started the whole home-​buying process without a lot of knowledge, but Ed walked us through putting together a portfolio, how to read and make an offer, and how to persevere in a competitive market. The manner in which Ed presented us complex information was made easier by his relaxed, but professional approach. He gave us ample time to ponder offers, but also helped us to understand the need for being prompt.
We made several offers prior to closing with our current house, and each offer we made was the right price for us, even if our offer wasn’t accepted. By the time we made an offer on our current home, we knew it was right for us. The home we are in now is PERFECT, and we are so pleased with the outcome.
