Wyndham El Paso Airport

Very spacious rooms, clean, all the amenities you need, and you can walk to it from your flight. Staff very courteous eager to please. Gym better than most, and plenty of sidewalk if you wants to run outdoors. The swimming area well that’s could use some TLC but not much will get it there.

Our next time through El Paso we will surely stay somewhere else. This hotel is dated, worn and filthy. The front desk staff was lovely and very accommodating when moving us out of our first room which smelled so strongly of cigarettes it made our eyes burn. And the maintenance staff came quickly to our second room to resolve an issue with the lamps not working, so kudos to the staff. Sadly their efforts could not erase the holes in the ceiling, stains on the bedspread, mold in the shower, filthy carpet and worn out furniture.

Just passing through El Paso and had a great experience at this Hotel. We had been driving for 10 hours straight and this was the only hotel that had a hot tub. The rooms were very nice and spacious and the hotel staff was extremely accommodating. If I am ever in El Paso again I wouldn’t pick anywhere else to stay!

Very dirty we ended up just leaving an hour after are stay I had to just file a claim with my bank, because they refused to refund me after we had seen roaches and bed bugs save your time money! And a headache and drive down the street! Yuck yuck

After a while my anger has subsided a bit.
I feel like no one will take a long review serious.
So I’ve cut it down. I wish there were negative star options but one will have to do.
This hotel provided me the WORST experience I have ever had and that’s all that needs to be known.
Stay here at your own risk, just know that you don’t matter to their staff. They are a poor excuse of a company and I am surprised they’ve gotten this far.

Gym equipment is broken. Rooms smell musty and old. Find another hotel. Hotel isn’t kept up well and everything seems to be on the verge of breaking. Elevators don’t work with key access. Internet continually goes out.

Our overall stay was horrible. The carpets are incredibly dirty, and the furniture is dated. Kimberly at the front desk was really rude and not helpful to any of our needs. The pool was nice but there were a ton of people, leaving trash and towels everywhere. We will definitely not be staying there again. Ever!

Stayed at the Wyndham Airport recently. It was a very average hotel. Comparable to most others I have stayed at in El Paso. The location was good for me. It is right next to the airport and close to Fort Bliss. Had a couple issues with the air conditioning in our room. Maintenance looked at it and it didn’t cool off so they moved us to a different room. They were very nice and apologized for the inconvenience. Both of the front desk employees I worked with were great.
The pool was decent. Bigger than all the others that I have been to in El Paso. The breakfast was also decent. All in all it was an average experience. Nothing about the hotel will wow you but it is solid for the price.

Not very impressed with the hotel for the price I paid. It’s look outdated with a few updates done. The lobby was nice, however the rooms need some more work. Wasn’t able to try out the water park slide, but it did look fun. I didn’t like that the plazas were all separate and not connected. Overall, it was fair.

Would be five stars with new carpet and new upholstery furniture. The restaurant and breakfast included in my package were above average. I was here has a business traveler, there are lots of other amenities, like a water park, that I did not experience.

Nice lobby and hallways. Ordered a pizza with anchovies. Out of anchovies. How hard is it to pick up a tin of anchovies at the store? Really? I also asked the bartender if the pizza dough was fresh. «Oh, ya it sure is! We even have a pizza oven in back» Pizza comes out. Frozen pre packaged dough. It was like pizza toppings on a giant cracker. Ugh. Rooms are ok.. Bar. outdated and sunken below ground level. Decorated in Miami Vice tv show style. Framed beer posters on wall. nice touch.

I am back, my work choses our hotels. I am staying in quite possibly the dirtiest hotel in our system. The pillows are so old and smelly I couldn’t sleep on one. The bedding is so smelly and old I had to pull it off. The smell in the room was so bad I sprayed air freshener. I went to my co workers rooms to see if they were all like this… they are. I had a non working coffee pot. I called down foe a working coffee pot, they brought one in a plastic bag and said it was new, it had old dust and dirt all over it. I had to go brew in another room. I called down and let the front know about everything and was told they would «log» this in. This hotel is going to require a complete overhaul and redecorating. New bedding are necessary and any management in charge of this hotel can see that. I am sitting up in a chair praying I leave soon. I hope I never come back here.

Stayed here for a conference. Granted the temperature this week was between 108° and 105°, but when we walking into our room around 5pm the room was at 77° and the temp was set to 53°. There were also 2 – 3 very large stains on the carpet that were not very nice to look at and made us question the cleanliness of the room. I assumed the air conditioner was just frozen so I turned it off for 15mins then set it back to 68° to cool the room off. I called the front desk before we left to eat, asking about the air conditioner and they said they would have maintenance look at it. My family (wife and 3yr old) and I got back to the room 3 hrs later after dinner and a meeting and the room was still around 77°, with a note saying it was working fine and they changed the filter.
I called down to the front desk and the guy said it was a swamp cooler and it was just doing the best it could with 108° temps. I was not expecting swamp coolers in this quality of a hotel, but I know they have refrigerated air in the main lobby! Swap coolers? Really?
I asked for another room and of course they were completely booked. I then asked for a fan to be sent to the room because the room was hot for me (much less my 3yr old daughter and wife). They said they would send one up. The fan never arrived that evening and it took until 3am before the room reached 73° enough for me to actually fall asleep after taking a cold shower to attempt to be remotely comfortable. (Btw: only like warm water, not really cold).
I finally went down and picked up the fan myself for our second night and still no offer for a new room. I visited a few other rooms from friends and colleagues attending the same conference, and they had no problems with temps in their rooms and their rooms were actually much nicer with larger rooms and much newer furniture.
I felt like a was being treated as a lower class and the hotel had much differing room qualities that you will probably never know about.
I’m not sure how to ask for a room with newer furniture and much more room and larger bathroom, but both of these rooms were the same cost and both a single king bed.
I will not return and will ask for some kind of refund. It is obviously close to the airport and the food was not horrible (over priced, but typical of a hotel, but a hotel with this companies name, I’ve come to expect better quality.

Was in El Paso for business and the Wyndham is one of the newer/​nicer properties around.
Literally about a football field away from the airport, you can easily walk over.
Setting is nice, staff is friendly, property is really cool, with pool and water slide in the middle, giving it more of a resort vibe with the layout and courtyard in the middle, with lounge chairs and fire pits all around.
Rooms are decent but aren’t as modern as you’d expect from a new resort, rates are fine.
Bar and restaurant is pretty cool, too.

The staff is soo friendly. Especially Karen Polanco, Sales & Marketing Manager, who helped me with all my questions and needs.

Friendly staff, but it’s so inconvenience to go anyway if you don’t drive

Had a great stay at the Wyndham El Paso. It’s A-​OK in my book and I’d stay there again.
Not wanting to rewrite the numerous previous comments I will attest that the service was in fact great, location to the airport… none better, good happy hour running to 8pm with complimentary food, and slept like a rock in a comfy bed.
Also, The exercise room is located in the pool area. The running and elliptical machines worked great, they had dumbells and one bench (functional but in need for recovering) with fresh towels provided and nice big TV going to keep you entertained in case you forgot your ipod.
They have three internet desktops for guests close to the front desk, but if you’d prefer to lounge in the lobby area they also equip a few of the coffee tables with Samsung tablets.
Room had a good fridge, microwave, and coffee maker, but in the morning I found it easier and tastier to just walk to the lobby and grab of complimentary cup of Starbucks coffee in a provided «to go» cup.
Breakfast buffet was good. Depending on the room price you negotiate your room may come with breakfast coupons. …but here’s a tip: if you pay for the buffet request and they’ll make you an omelet to your liking. If you have the breakfast coupon you’re going to be eating the scrambled eggs with the rest of us.
…and for business or web surfing I almost forgot: in your room get ready to kick back in a bona fide HermanMiller Aeron chair. Who’d a thunk?

I like that it is close to the airport, but that is also a detriment as you can and will hear airplanes at all hours.
Here are the fails:
roaches in the room, not the tiny ones, but the industrial sized ones.
rooms are old and in dire need of a face lift. lots of dust flying around
leaky toilet that didn’t flush often
Pros:
bar with fantastic prices
staff is attentive and works to resolve issues (my first room did not have a working AC, but I was transferred to a new room immediately)
I probably won’t return, but it is a live and learn world…
