Radisson Hotel El Paso Airport

Just a weekend in town getaway with the wifey and kiddos. So far it has been pleasant despite it being practically filled up, its been quiet, pool was empty and clean, same for the jacuzzi. Nice and relaxed. Forget that I’m still in El Paso. Friendly staff, professional and courteous. Bed is extremely comfortable. Received complimentary breakfast tickets as well. Highly recommend for any out of towners that looking for a quality hotel that wont break the bank. Very reasonably priced for what you get. We like to stay at hotels from time to time. Just started being a tradition, kids love it and we don’t have to worry about picking up after ourselves.

I have stayed at this hotel 3 times on business, and I have to say that it holds a special place in my heart. The staff exudes warmth and friendliness and appears to truly care about all of their guests. I must mention a few people in particular: Janie at the front desk overheard that we were celebrating the birthday of a colleague, and upon our return to the hotel after dinner had arranged for a plate a desserts to be waiting for my colleague at his room! Not every person goes above and beyond like this, and we really appreciated the gesture. Lyka greeted us with such genuine warmth, and enthusiastically recommended a place for our birthday dinner. Eddie was the shuttle driver who patiently drove us to shopping and our dinner location with patience and warmth. Thank you for a great experience every time I come to El Paso — you offer a uniquely warm service.

We were in Hawaiian embassy suite by Hilton last week and comparing to that hotel, price is fair. Room is clean and there is everything that you may expect for $ 80/​night hotel. However, there are couple of issues that makes me not to come here again.
— finding parking spot at night is difficult.
— breakfast service is TERRIBLE, TERRIBLE, and TERRIBLE. Only 2 waiters for 115 people. It took 1 hr for us to get what we want.
Even if you like the environment stay away from this hotel if time is important for you.

The rooms were pretty standard. Not brand new, but clean and with the amenities I wanted, including a coffee maker and mini fridge.
I didn’t use either pool or the fitness room. They also were nothing special, but looked fine.
But the stay is a winner based on service. The staff was friendly. The shuttle driver gets you back and forth to the airport super fast, and will also take you anywhere within 3 miles. Then you also get a full breakfast (from the menu to your table including chorizo and egg omelets and such) and happy hour daily. Happy hour is chips, salsa, popcorn, and your first two drinks. (Beer, wine or soda.)
And the location is great for the airport. It’s the closest hotel not on the airport property. Of course it’s not a location for walking around town, but you can take the shuttle to a restaurant and back.

Horrible, simply horrible! We had charges to our room we did not make. Come to find out, someone bought tons of drinks at the bar, and charged them to our room. If that wasn’t enough, they forged my boyfriend’s signature. How did they know our room number and boyfriend name enough to sign it similar to his? Spoke to management, and there was no sense of urgency. We were advised we needed to wait until tomorrow. Very unprofessional and horrible taste in hospitality.

THE WORST HOTEL EXPERIENCE EVER. When my sister & I checked in at 9 on a Sat. night there was no restaurant, bar or room service open. The half witted young man at the front desk then «dropped» my credit card (that he demanded for «incidentals» altho with no mini bar in the room and no restaurant bar or room service what could those be?) down a «hole» and said he couldn’t find it. He told me I could come back down and get it whenever he found it. Two hours later he said he hadn’t been able to get it. He hadn’t called maintenace because «they didn’t have a maintenance crew.» He refused to connect me to a manager. When the manager eventually called me she said they did have a maintenance crew and she had «just called them.» She brought the card to my room in the middle of the night. This morning there was a mysterious (fraudulent) $ 50 charge on it that the rude young woman on the front desk refused to remove claiming it was for unexplained «incidentals» — what incidentals? Terrible service. Idiots who work there and rude to boot.

Beautiful looking hotel, nice rooms. Feels clean and fresh. But for work, this place was a disaster. The wifi was free, but I couldn’t even connect to a single webpage! Worse than dial-​up. I ended up using my phone to search for a wifi coffee shop.
Again, nice place to stay but not for business.

We celebrated our 24 year Anniversary here and had a Great Night. The Bar and Grill was awesome. We had the wings and beef nachos. Excellent drinks. I had several including the Irish Car Bomb and the wife enjoyed her Blue Azteca. We received two free breakfast tickets and the breakfast was great we had the omelette. The servers were Great and very nice. We had a 4^th floor suite which was Awesome. Only issue there is no ice machines on the 4^th floor and the 3^rd floor machine was outta ice. Awesome time with my Sexy Mrs’s.

Poor customer service is beyond infuriating. We checked into our room 2 AM in the morning to find that the toilet wasn’t working. The next morning the stopper for the bathtub wasn’t working also. When we checked out we informed the receptionist. She advised that we should have informed the front desk the night before about the issue. Really? At 2 AM when undressed, the last thing you want to do is to get the toilet fixed or move all your stuff to another room.
The room should have be pre-​checked by maintenance staff and we should have got a voucher or some token discount for the inconvenience. Instead we are advised to contact Priceline. How is it their problem?

I really liked this hotel. In fact I give them 4 stars only because the walkways to and from the terminal aren’t well marked which made what seemed like an easy walk to the airport a little less easy.
Still, the hotel was clean and the staff friendly. Gym and pool were a little dank and dark though. Restaurant was pretty amazing (try the Fajitas!)
Not much else within walking distance. I think there was an applebees or a chilis next door and a few gas station convenience stores down the street but thats about it. Still between great rooms and a great restaurant this one gets an easy 4 stars from me.

Love love this place so convo eminently located. I recommend or bucks when booking you’ll save. Military discount too. Very nice request the rooms with the glass doors they are nice.

This place was great. I had just gotten in from an all day drive and not only did we get a great deal from Expedia but the lady at the front desk recommended a great Mexican food place which I will not forget. Simple as that. Close to the airport, I’d say middle class neighborhood and I definitely felt safe.

pretty sure it’s walking distance from the airport, unless you’re lazy as shit, or have a disability or 500 bags, then hop on a FREE Shuttle.

those Wi-​Fi spots can be iffy.
A basic tub/​shower that seems kinda small.
I recommend this place if you have to stay in El Paso.

I’ve stayed here a few times. Hotel is nice and clean and well updated. The staff here is what really makes this hotel shine though. Almost everyone here is very well trained and know their job and it shows. Comes across as the kind of service you’d expect a much more expensive hotel. The staff at the front desk might be the weak point in the chain though. They’re nice enough but don’t seem have that same level of training everyone else does.
Other things I like about this hotel:
–The free breakfast is made to order and several options available.
–The complimentary shuttle does more than just airport runs. They’ll take you to local restaurants and pick you up. Great if you’re stuck here without a car like me.
–Evening happy hour. Complimentary beverages and snacks. Two drink limit and chips and salsa or popcorn as the snacks. They do it every night which is good.
Hotel has a contract with Southwest Airlines I believe. Several pilots and flight attendants can be seen eating breakfast everymorning I’ve been here.

Hotel is very close to the airport; you can see it from the pick-​up area. A shuttle came and picked me up. The driver said they had 24hr service and would take you anywhere within 3mi of the hotel but I just used them for the ride to the hotel. There is an Applebees and Cattle Baron restaurant in the same parking lot.
Room was clean, spacious, and the bed was comfortable. I didn’t spend much time on the free WiFi but it was usable on my tablet. Free made-​to-​order breakfast was included but didn’t stay to try it.
Accommodations were a great value almost as nice as the $ 200/​night hotel I stayed at in Austin the follow night.

So as I sit in my room typing this with no Internet service or television you may be able to sense what the tone of this review will be. Apparently there is a cable service provider problem which I fully understand happens. What I don’t understand is how they deal with the issue. Let me start from the beginning.
Attempt to check in at the Marriott next door but was turned away because they were full. Marriott front desk staff courteously called the Radisson and inquired about rooms. They informed me all they had left were «deluxe» suites at $ 198 per night. I felt stuck so I took it. What was strange was when I arrived to see a fairly empty parking lot and not much activity in the bar and lobby. This was confirmed also the next day when I overheard the front desk staff offer a «regular» guest room to someone checking in to be closer to another guest. This is when I discovered the Internet and television were out. I had to leave the hotel and work from a Starbucks all day to get done what I needed. I then returned hoping all would be well, not so. I figured the front desk would be amenable to a reduced rate but when I inquired they looked at me like I had 3 heads. I believe the response was «we pay for the service and its not our fault it’s down.» Guess what, I agree its not your fault. What is your responsibility is to insure an excellent customer experience. If that means a rate reduction when you can’t meet your commitments so be it. Am I way off base here? This property could have turned lemons into lemonade all by how they addressed this problem. Let it be a lesson to all of us in customer service.

Convenient, clean, quiet, big rooms, and very close to airport. The staff was excellent, the amenities top notch, and the service was on par with higher end hotels.
The gym was one of the best gyms I’ve ever seen in a hotel.
There were indoor and outdoor versions of everything (pools, hot tubs, sitting areas, etc.) so the hotel was great for all seasons. Although not quite a resort, you could do everything you needed to do without leaving the premises.
The beds were very comfortable.
The building is obviously a bit on the older side and the bathrooms are fairly plain, but everything was clean and the service was great.
I brought a large group to this hotel, contracted the rooms, and was very pleased. The manager catered to our needs and I will definitely come back here again, with a group or by myself.
The free breakfast (open from 5 AM to 10 AM) was to-​order off a menu and the food/​service was good. They routinely messed up the orders, but I honestly didn’t care when all was said and done.
There are large meeting rooms and a large atrium for social events.
You can walk to the airport from here. And Applebees and the Cattle Baron (steak restaurant) are in the parking lot.

Even though I’m convinced I saw a ghost here (feel free to message me for the details), this hotel is a great option for business travelers, families and casual travelers.
For starters, the location is amazing. It’s literally 200 yards from the airport, but situated in such a way that somehow you don’t really hear any noise from the airplanes. Perhaps it’s because it’s a small airport so there’s just not that much traffic? Not sure, but it’s never been a problem for me. Because of the close location, the shuttle takes less than 5 minutes to arrive and has always been staffed by a friendly driver, eager to provide recommendations on local hits. The shuttle will also take you anywhere within a 3 mile radius, which includes numerous restaurants, 2 different malls, Target, Costco and Walmart!
Rooms are big and well-​maintained, each equipped with a flat-​screen tv, nice coffee maker and independently controlled thermostat. Most rooms also have a fridge and microwave (you might need to search for it– sometimes it’s hidden in a closet).
All stays come with a complimentary breakfast which is prepared just for you in their restaurant. You get a choice about about 10 different entrees, which include an awesome omelet and really good steel-​cut oatmeal. Coffee, juice and soda are also included with breakfast.
The hotel has a daily happy hour for all guests which includes free chips and salsa, popcorn, and 2 complimentary drinks (draft beer, house wine, or soda.) It’s a nice perk at the end of the work day.
The Radisson has both an indoor and outdoor pool and hot tub, both of which are clean and well-​working. The 24 hour fitness facility is also a great perk! All the beds are Sleep Number, which contrary to popular belief, I’ve never found to be that comfortable. No dig on the business, I just don’t like the beds. Perhaps you will :)
And free wifi. For your entire stay.

My third stay here in 2 years and time to express my feelings.
The staff are great. The facility and its maintenance are horrid.
My first room (had to get moved due to lack of water thanks Notre Dame football team) had a toilet that didnt flush, hair dryer not working, and half the lights in the room not working.
I then got moved to a «business class room:», bigger but with a poor thermostat. temperature swings didn’t allow sleep. by the time, I turned on the TV, there were only 12 stations, half in Spanish and nothing outside of networks. There’s a a Marriott next door that will get my business next time.
