At Waxing and Skincare by Celeste we provide multiple services that include waxing for both male and female, facials, diamond tipped microdermabrasion, chemical peels, consultations, and skin care. We specialize in sugaring and Brazilian waxing and take pride in providing the best Brazilian wax in El Cajon, the East County, and all of San Diego.

We use 100% natural wax that includes 100% Organic Beeswax (hard wax), Eucalyptus Oil infused soft wax, and our very own 100% natural sugar wax (sugaring). We break traditional esthetic protocols by using a combination of all 3 of our 100% natural types of wax. By taking advantage of the physical properties each wax has to offer, we use are able to identify which wax is best suited for specific areas of the body. By doing this, we help minimize the pain felt by our clients. We simply do not limit ourselves with sticking with only one kind of wax!

Our emphasis is not only on providing the best possible results with our skin treatments, but also informing and educating everyone who comes through our doors.

Business Owner

Celeste grew up in São Paulo, Brazil where she lived until her mid 20’s. After owning and running a successful salon for a few years, Celeste decided to make a drastic change in her life and moved to Japan. In Japan she continued working in the beauty industry first starting in Hamamatsu and finally settling in Tokyo.

Celeste spent a total of 13 years in Japan where she continued to sharpen her techniques. She continued to gain valuable knowledge through Japanese spa techniques, much emphasized customer service, cleanliness, worth ethics, and the idea that everyone must master their trade.

In 2008 she moved to California with her husband who she met while he was stationed in Japan. Upon arriving in California, Celeste enrolled in school to obtain her California esthetician license even though she did not speak any English. Battling with her English and pregnancy, Celeste finished on top of her class with an overall grade of 92.4% which showcased her true passion in life.
