The food is pretty whatever, but good. Sort of a sketchy location though. Tables weren’t particularly clean. But the staff was nice, engaged. A place worth stopping by if you are starving and have the misfortune of driving through downtown El Cajon.

It’s very sad that I decided to stop by this Panda Express location. They’re truly the worst. Mariah had such a nasty attitude and was rude to me and 2 other senior/disabled customers. She acted like doing me a favor when I asked her that I need Chowmein & double grilled Teriyaki Chicken whereas she was barely giving me the right amount in my plate. She didn’t greet me or other customers as I’m used to other Panda Express locations. The manager stood helpless when I reported this incident to the store manager. I’ll definitely be contacting Panda Express corporate office.

Stingy as ever and I really don’t like the manager there. It’s been 2 times I have witnessed her attitude and cheating the costumer so that they can have lower food costs. They skimp portions for some expensive meals. I’m very pissed and I will not go there again.

Went 11÷13÷15 for lunch, paid cashier for meal and realize I had a coupon from last time to get an extra item free. Asked Manager if I could use it. She said no, use it next time. I told her there wouldn’t be a next time. It couldn’t have hurt her or company to give me the extra item. She lost a customer, family and friends. Too bad so sad.

We just had our daughter’s Sweet 16 party and when we asked what she wanted to serve as her dinner she said she wanted Panda Express. Teenagers. We used the Panda Express on Broadway and they were great to work with for the catering. The food was ready and hot when we picked it up. The kids really enjoyed it. The main reason I wanted to write is because I wanted to tell people that they give you a ton of food. The menu says the family style feeds 26 – 30 so we ordered two plus one additional dish. We had about 65 adults/teenagers. It was way too much food. Don’t get me wrong, the food was great. The ordering process was very professional. Knowing what I know now, I would have ordered less food. They give you your money’s worth and then some.

Lunch time… they were busy: Food was excellent, but service was so bad, disorganized, and down right unpleasant it overshadowed the food. The manger was working the line of customers… Tanny. she was difficult to understand and made no effort to speak so that I could understand her accent. I had to ask her to repeat everything she asked. Then she got my answers incorrect(she could not understand me either I assume) and we had to do this three times to place two orders to go. She was ***** off at having to repeat herself. and glared at me, no smile, no warmth, really I thought she was frowning just at me… but then she had to help the chicken server… cuts up chicken… she glared and verbally snapped at her also. Very unpleasant. What the heck is someone so obviously angry doing working at the counter with customers? Pro’s: Hot tasty food Con’s: Unpleasant lady behind the counter. Difficult communication with servers. Had repeat everything three times. Order was incorrect the first time. Lady behind the counter got mad at me for that. Glaring looks.

Almost left the establishment no greeting — wasn’t noticed until 5 minutes later, being the only one there and i had to wait — the female worker was to busy congregating –no utensils or soy sauce — didn’t feel welcomed terrible customer service —

2 nights ago I went in to order food. We had ordered 32 items and 2 orders of cream cheese Rangoons. We didn’t get the Rangoons or any forks. So I called to complain and they told me the next time I was there I can get the Rangoons if she put my name in the book. I said that I would rather just have my money back and she said: we need the receipt so you have to come back over” Well, it was only 15 minutes ago that I had placed the order so they could still find the transaction and she said couldn’t do it. Ok, I have worker retail back in the day and It can be done. But she did say that it was company policy and thats why she couldn’t. OK, so its the bosses that deem it this way. Next day I call the corporate office and speak to someone in guest relations. And in my opinion she was RUDE and sarcastic to me. She told me that they could ONLY refund the same day also. So I said I can’t go in NOW with the receipt and they would do nothing for me? and she said«correct». Then I said, well excuse me but its NOT my job to make sure your people are doing theres. I paid for something that I didn’t get. She then said she would send me a 1 time $ 10.00 card to use for food but the more I think about it… NOPE I want my money back for what I didn’t get and I am NOT eating here again… PERIOD! Your not the ONLY place I can get Asian food from! Thanks for doing an amazing job keeping me as a customer!

Portions are still chintzy, but the quality has improved for sure. Plus I really like the modern remodel. It’s pretty nice. Now if they would only stop being stingy on the shrimp portions.

This panda is not bad considering all other places that could be worse. I come here from time to time when I want my fire cracker chicken. The staff is friendly and the restaurant is clean and the cooks are amazing because the food is awesome. Compaired to pandas in San Antonio this one is above average I just wish it had a drive through lol then i would give five stars lol. But over all great place, cool staff and you do get what you pay for Here lol. Any one else expexting five star food from a fast food place haha go eat at one it’s FASTFOOD. not chef ramsesys palace.

This place has fresh tasty food. More so than usual. Its clean with ample seating. There can be quite a wait tho, although they move along fast. its demand slowing things down, not the help.

The food at this place is alright, but never really taste freshly cooked. Most of the items are good but taste like they change there food bans 2 – 3 times a day and food taste like its been sitting there for hours and is warm and never what you would consider hot. The food portions for the 2 – 3 item meals are way overpriced for the very small portions they give you. Most people I know eat again an hour later since the food needs to be much larger portions and a much higher quality of food for the high prices they charge for what they serve. Staff is very friendly and very professional. There are much better Chinese food deals that are cheaper and a much higher quality of food nearby. I say go elsewhere if your looking for good food and good portions at a fair price.

OK, Panda Express is known for good, cheap and fast. That’s it! Let me change your mind about this store: — Best Panda Express experience ever — Coolest people — Flavor/Taste THEBEST This restaurant ensures you taste quality and full of flavor in each bite. I go to others around El Cajon and San Diego and don’t compare ATALL to this one. Their orange chicken is in such perfection of crunchiness, glaze, flavor is unreal(compared to the other ones.) — It’s clean — They are not stingy Great place to stop by if you’re hungry and don’t want to wait or tip.

After I got home with my two item with half rice half noodles, I felt the blood pressure starting to rise! I discovered, hidden under my teriyaki chicken section of the divided container, was rice filled up to the inside ridge of the container to make it appear I had a «normal» serving of chicken. From now on, I’m asking for my choices to be put in the container THEN the rice and/or noodles. It’ll be that, or spend my hard earned money somewhere else where I can be appreciated and no slick moves to rip me off! I can’t say for sure if this was an employee’s «mistake, or an instruction to them. On top of that, there was only one guy cooking and two servers who also rung orders up. It seems to me there has always been a more appropriate number of staff available in the past. Needless to say, I will call someone at Panda Express tomorrow about these issues.

Why oh why can’t this PE serve its customers better??? Rushed thru and missing dishes. Can you wait five minutes doesn’t wk on a lunch hour. It seems every once in awhile I get stuck at this PE. I keep thinking they’ll get their act together, but it hasn’t happened yet. I normally like PE, but this one needs fixing. You can’t see what’s ahead of you to order and yet they are rushing you through to choose. Then they ask and don’t listen, like when you want your sauce on the side instead of on the meat. I won’t go back.

I stopped this Panda Express for a quick bite after work. I noticed they had a new items I had not seen, a «surf and turf» with shrimp and beef, and only enough potatoes.( ) I picked a two entrees with a side of stir fried vegetables, and my second choice was chicken and mushroom stir fry.( ) $ 6.59 plus a dollar extra for the surf and turf. First the surf and turf. The shrimp were pretty good and not over cooked. The beef was descent and the sauce that came with was good and not overly sweet.( ) What I found odd was the potatoes that came with it. They just did not seem to be getting along with the Asian sauce. More veggies instead of potatoes would of been better. Next, the mushrooms and chicken were good. The chicken was tender, tasted good, but the mushrooms needed to be cooked more. They were in the stage between raw and cooked.( ) The side of vegetables were very good. The broccoli, cabbage, and zucchini were all prepared very well with a light healthy seasoning.( ) All the vegetables were crisp and fresh. The girl who took my order was nice. She also brought me my food and had a big grin on her face. I like friendly people…

Im on the road working every day so Im forced to have lunch out. This is the 3rd time I have stopped here. I knew better but like last thought maybe my last experience was a fluke. Im getting up there so a good colon cleanse is great but not during working hours! I used the facilities before i was done eating the food was so powerful. Then got out to my truck and had to make another visit. It was violent, I got just about a block away and another wave came over me. I panicked because I didnt know what to do. Luckily I seen the Golden Arches and raced in there & tried to calmly walk into the restrooms but instead had to run. Sorry but all Panda Expresses are now off limits for me!
