Decent Chinese food when you need your fix. The inside of the restaurant is clean which is nice… The food was really good, my veggie and tofu tasted fresh. The reason I’m not giving 5 stars is because for the $ 7 plate I felt the portion was small. The lady only filled half of the plate with my entrée but since I only got one wouldn’t they fill both sides? I don’t know… I like a lot of food. Also the ladies working there weren’t friendly at all.

The food was good but the service from the girls is a hit and miss. Just because you say hello and your tone in your voice is friendly doesn’t negate how unwelcoming your face looks. Before being so involved in your coworker side chat maybe you should make sure your customers feel welcomed.

I wanted in n out, but the line was way too long. So I walked into this place. It’s currently being remodeled so I can’t say much about how it looks, but I can tell you that the food is great! I got chow mien, orange chicken and beef and broccoli. They make all your entrees fresh here, which I loved and appreciated. My food was so hot I burnt my tongue. The employees were also extremely nice. I can’t wait to come back.

First time customers and girl was not much help when we tried to understand how to order. While it took us a while to figure out she just looked at us no off to help, her face was like«read the menu». We ordered 3 combo items, 1 salt & pepper wings, egg drop soup, &4 drinks = $ 49(including small tip). I thought the food was not good and overpriced. Won’t be back!!!

Love this place. Reasonably priced, excellent food, great customer service. My family gets the family special best bang for your buck, you get soup, 2 sides, 3 entrees, 4 egg rolls, 5 fortune cookies. Every time we come we try to try something different for our 3rd entrée.

This place is right down the street from me and I love it! I would definitely recommend this place. The workers are friendly, the price is cheap and the food is delicious. The noodles are my favorite!

I use to like this place because of the amount of food you get for the price. But, the last time I went it seemed the price had went up. Over 10 bucks for 3 entrée plate if I’m remembering right. For that price, I’d go else where.

Yum. Everything here is made to order except of course the rice and a few sides. I haven’t had a single dish that hasn’t been great. Consistent as well. Friendly staff. Better than spending money on In-and-Out.

Had a co-worker pick up dinner to go and was pretty impressed with the flavor and freshness. Ordered the low mein, orange chicken, and kung pao shrimp and where the noodles are usually greasy when you think of Chinese food, theirs is light and seasoned perfectly. How can you go wrong with orange chicken? Totally crunchy, with the right tang and not at all greasy. The kung pao shrimp had broccoli, peas, mushrooms that were fresh and still had a snappy texture and the shrimps were big and succulent. I almost feel guilty that I finished the whole plate but luckily(no pun intended!), the gym is just right around the corner! Will try their food again! :)

Good food and good customer service! I felt the women in my photo seemed rude, but according to the general manager she was upset. Thank you!

Great place to either eat in or take out. Always fresh and priced fairly. Really like this Chinese fast food restaurant. Also the Santee location on Mission Gorge next to discount tire is equally as good. Kudos to the staff.

Years and years ago(about 20) I used to go here for lunch with my family. Tonight we went back to try it and oh boy was I disappointed. It was pretty terrible. I ended my dinner with a fortune cookie and even that was terrible(I don’t know how you can screw up a fortune cookie). The biggest joke was my fortune, «eat more Chinese food». After that meal it will be a long time before I eat ANY Chinese food.

I love Chinese food and always drove by this place. Figured why not try it see what it’s all about. It was terrible! Yes they give you a TON of food but to be honest I would rather have Panda Express. The service was not bad but the food. AWFUL! Literally while my husband and I were eating we instantly got stomachaches. Conclusion: WILLNEVERCOMEHEREAGAIN! Nor will I suggest this place to anyone!

This was my first time here and sadly to say I’m disappointed. There was no food out to see before you chose. When asked the lady said«it’ll be made fresh». so I chose the 2 item combo with orange chicken Mongolian beef and lo mein noodles. For $ 7.99. When I received my food the first thing I noticed was the Mongolian beef had way too much vegetables and very little beef. I had a total of about 5 pieces of beef MAX. My orange chicken, which was cold, had a very odd flavor. My noodles were also cold and had way too much cabbage/veggies. I don’t see how my cold food could be fresh? The woman behind the counter seemed inconvenienced by customers and unfriendly. For $ 8 they should be generous with the meat. Instead they’re super stingy. I don’t see how this place has 4 stars the people are greedy with the meat and have poor customer service. Basically if you want a Severely overpriced plate of veggies come on down… Otherwise don’t waste your time or money.

Kevin, the GM, is great at what he does. My wife and I have been irregularly visiting this location for the past 6 years(once or twice every ¾ months). Not only does Kevin recognize us but he knows what we order, and about the most recent goings on in our lives. We go so infrequently it should be surprising to have anyone at a chain, counter restaurant remember anything about us but it is no surprise to us since it is VERY apparent how much Kevin cares. From the moment we started patronizing this establishment we have seen improvements little by little(from staff, to cleanliness, to food) and it is obvious that Kevin had a big hand in that. The food is good for an American style Chinese take-out joint but nothing to rave about. It is the best in the area by far, however. One of the best things about the food is that they make my wife’s fried rice to order — without egg. The only downside is that over the years, depending on the staff member(when Kevin is not there) we get a fluctuating upcharge for this or none at all. We are fine paying a little extra since it is obvious there is more that goes into it than a regular order yet we could do without the inconsistency. It at one point seemed as though certain ex-staff members would tack on an extra $ 4/$ 5 simply because they were unhappy people. Luckily this aspect has improved recently. We’ll be back again and again.

This place is just meh. Not good, not bad… just meh. I hadn’t been here in awhile and I decided I wanted some Chinese fast food. I placed my order for a 2 item combo with fried rice. I got orange chicken and bbq pork($ 1.00 extra). My total was $ 7.51 which isn’t bad for the amount of food you get. The bbq pork was the best thing of the bunch and was actually pretty tasty. The orange chicken started out ok but then got worse as I went along. It was dry and crunchy. The rice was not that good at all and I barely touched that. I highly doubt I will come back. I would much rather go to a different Chinese place in Santee which I know is always awesome… should have went there today in the first place ;-).
