History

Established in 2011.

Eliminite Termite Services was first incorporated in 2011 with the intent to bring a strong integrity based company to the industry. Eliminite Termite has grown each year into a leading alternative termite control company with a primary focus on Orange Oil treatments — featuring D-​Liminite Orange Oil which is 95% pure D-​Limonene. people, pet and environmentally friendly. In order to keep up with the demand, Eliminite ownership also put there experience to work as a licensed General Contractor and added a full service construction/​repair division. As if that wasn’t enough — Eliminite Termite is the only company in North America still to this day and our knowledge that holds combined licensing in termite operations, general construction AND real estate services all under one roof. No other can say that — no one else can compare. All of this knowledge and experience translates into unparalleled knowledge /​expert care for our customers.

Business Owner

Barry O’Gorman is the leader of Eliminite Termite Services, Inc. Barry is a licensed termite operator, a licensed class B General Contractor as well as a licensed California Real Estate Broker/​Officer. An executive with a STRONG belief in integrity and ethics that requires all that work with him to maintain the same standards. Barry started the business out of his garage as a one man show with plans to bring each of his family members in over time in an effort to keep the standards at an unparalleled level. Due to Barry’s work ethic and integrity — the word started to rapidly spread and Barry went from his garage to a construction trailer on the side of his home. Business continued to soar — bringing on additional, loyal integrity based employees — Barry moved from the home to a large warehouse/​office in El Cajon, Ca. where they have been ever since. Barry loves the term — «It’s not easy staying on the cutting edge — let alone define it»…

Recently, we discovered termite droppings coming from our open beam kitchen celling over the cooking area as well as several places outside the house. Tenting was not an option for us because of the incredible hassle it would cause. In researching alternatives, we came across Eliminite Termite Pest Control. We called them and the next day Gary came out and gave us a free inspection. He assured us that they could handle our problem which gave us a lot of comfort. Soon thereafter, Gary and Tai treated the infested areas with natural orange oil. Within minutes after treatment there were no more droppings coming from our kitchen celling. WOW. We were very impressed with the professional way they dealt with our termite problem. They gladly answered any questions we had in an enthusiastic friendly manner. Also, if we see any other termite problems in the next two years, Eliminite will treat the infested areas for free. We highly recommend Eliminite for dealing with termite problems without reservations. They handled a potentially very scary problem effortlessly. Thank you Eliminite.

Termites invaded and fed voraciously on the home I have always dreamed of owning and plan to live in for the rest of my life. Not wanting to let those insects win again by kicking me out of my home while I found someone to eliminate them, I researched several companies and was astounded by so many different attitudes and approaches. Finally I found Barry, who was not only professional, but truthful and extremely knowledgeable. The crew, who I now consider part of my family, arrived exactly when they were scheduled and got right to work. Not only did they treat my whole home with orange oil, but they treated the soil surrounding my home for those subterranean termites that have been feasting on my fences. Then all of the badly eaten and damaged fascia was removed from my house and the new pre-​treated wood was installed to perfection. Davon, Tyrone, Gary and John were so respectful and truly professional. After they left, my home was termite free, totally repaired and there was no mess or damage left behind. They are truly the only pest control company that I would ever feel comfortable enough to recommend. It is a comfort knowing that I have them to rely on to keep my home free of termite damage.

This company is amazing!!! We were in process of closing on a VA loan when we discovered Eliminite. Two other companies we contacted either didn’t show up or were too busy to schedule an appointment in a timely fashion. We were not interested in tenting our property obviously due to the need to vacate the premises. When we read up on Eliminite and the natural product used we decided to give them a try. Best decision EVER! The inspector was prompt and quite thorough. We were impressed by the honesty in representing what WE needed to be in compliance for our lender and for the VA. The work was scheduled and completed on time!!! The crew working to make the needed repairs was non-​intrusive and considerate and their work was impeccable. If you’re looking for a great, reputable and efficient company to service your property and take care of what you need —whether closing on a loan or in general… give Eliminite a try. We reached out to Eliminite in a last stitch effort to avoid tenting, but keep our refinance on schedule. I had about three hours to decide whether or not to double bag all the food in the house and find somewhere the indoor plants could sit in the yard and get enough shade to live (during the hottest week of the year), as well as find accommodations for my household for the next two nights.
I called Eliminite’s office and explained my time and financial constraints. They had their inspector John at my door within a half hour. John asked if I was handy or had someone around to help & recommended I make the repairs myself to save on labor so I could just pay for their Orange Oil treatment. With that advice I easily saved $ 1500 (on the cost of tenting) as well as acquire the tools and know-​how for future jobs around the house, and their work is warrantied for two years.
I highly recommend this company, our experience & service was top tier.

I was very impressed with the service I received from Eliminite. Barry gave me an estimate and was awesome and very knowledgeable about his orange oil product and his services. He gave me many tips on how to prevent termites from spreading and how to repair my existing termite damage. His crew then treated my house and were very professional and easy to work with. They even went above and beyond with my requests to treat some «extra» areas that are not normally covered. These guys know what they are doing and can accommodate a customer’s special requests/​needs. As an FYI, I used Xtermite to treat my home back in 2011 and the Eliminite crew is much better. I will stick with them from now on.

First time calling for their type of service. First day John came out to do the inspection. Even though the house was very cluttered because it belongs to a border, John was kind and considerate throughout the process. Came back a week later on a very hot day and spent the whole day working on the two story house. Now a week later find no signs of termites and only have a slightly orangey smell in the air. Overall would highly recommend them not only for their service, but in the kindly and patient manner in which they deliver it.

I NEVER give 5 stars– I always believe there is room for improvement– These guys showed me differently! We needed to move forward with our VA Loan requirements and Barry and John came to the rescue! These guys know what they are doing with 20 years experience under their belts. We were told that our only option was tenting by a different company– (with 3 kids and pet) it was going to be a logistical nightmare… I have to say they did not have to take on our business– we were a major pain with our timeline but Barry and John took on the challenge I am GRATEFUL– they did. I don’t think they even know the impact they made-​!! We will definitely be recommending them. BTW– if you add up costs/​pricing going with Eliminite Termite was a no-​brainer!

Recently I needed a termite inspection and treatment so that I could move forward with a VA loan. My business partner recommended Eliminite and I am so very gllad that she did. John was professional, patient, and extremely experienced. He was kind and did not make me feel foolish for asking questions. I felt completely at ease with John and must admit that I even enjoyed the inspection, treatment, and sign off process and felt as if I was being taken care of in the most professional way possible. We’ve had them treat 3 of our houses for termites, and we’ve been very happy with them. The first time we used their services, we found it would have cost us more going with others that would have been tenting, and they all offered the same warranty. No-​brainer for us, as we much prefer the more eco-​friendly, safer approach. Everyone was able to stay home during the process, including the dogs.

I tried multiple termite companies. «green» and chemical and always got the feeling that each company was interested only in seeing how much they could charge. After awhile, I decided that I really wanted to go green due to my pets and vegetation even though it would cost a bit more. After meeting Barry from Eliminite, I knew they were the ones that I wanted to use. They were not the least nor the most expensive but I knew I was getting an honest quote and felt that they would do an excellent job. They could not have been nicer nor more respectful when the guys showed up to treat the house. Using no gloves nor masks, I knew the product was safe. And so far, no signs of termites. If you are as frustrated as I was with trying to find a company to debug your property, look no further. And another advantage, they are local and not part of some big countrywide chain.

I think this business is about as solid as they come. While doing a remodel at our home in Cardiff, one of our workers came down and uttered the words you never want to hear as a homeowner: «Señor, insectos, insectos». My Spanish is good enough to know that we likely had termites in our master bathroom that was being redone. I am a delegator, so I asked my wife to find us a termite company quickly so our workers could resume their job. She got in touch with Barry, the owner, at Eliminite, who was very helpful and knowledgable, but sadly they were booked for several days. Thankfully, my wife explained our predicament and Barry came out personally to inspect our house. He was prompt, professional, and extremely accommodating. Our house was treated the same day and our project got right back on track with only a marginal pause. Barry is one of the few contractors that I trust and would recommend to my friends and family.

If u need a professional and experienced termite service call Eliminite, they will repair and treat within 24hr with a termite certificate waiver completed in hand. They are polite and trustworthy and have an excellent crew for repairs and clean up. I was impressed, definitely will use them again in the future!
