With all the great reviews (the main reason I went to this place) I had a crappy experience.
First experience was when I went to drop off my tire (i wanted to get a quick release put on my front tire). I got there early and waited til they opened, (they open at noon). It was 1210 when I went up there and they were still closed. Waited a little longer, and tried again, the door was open. Dropped off my tire because he didn’t have the wheel in stock, so it was on order.
The second experience I went to pick up my tire, I had to pick it up before work because they are closed by the time I get off work. So I went there around 1150 so I can get my tire and than head to work from there. 1200 came around and the place was not open. 1210, still the place was closed, waited and waited because I didn’t want to come back. So 1248 rolled around and the owner shows up. If you have 1200 as the opening time that the place should be open at 1200. Go in to get my tire, and my tire is not put together, his excuse was «I guess I got distracted». I was almost late for work because I had to wait for him to finish with my tire.
So all in all, not a place to go if you are on a schedule time.
On top of everything, I have not even used my tire (the tags are still on the wheel), the tire is flat two days after I get my tire back. I will be going some place else for work in my bike.

Lot’s of goodies at this shop. Jason mainly deals with MTB but is very knowledgeable and is a real bike enthusiast. Decent prices and no BS. If he doesn’t haven’t, he will get it and price match most stuff, just ask.

Awesome mountain bike shop in San Diego. This a great shop for the mountain biking enthusiast. One of the few Banshee dealers around. Jason, the owner, knows his bikes and has a great attitude. They offer lots of bike services.

Took my KHS in for a long overdue tuneup. Talk about personalized service! Jason spoke with me about the options & costs for repairs. He really is enthusiastic about bikes and getting you back on the trail. He turned it in 2 days. Credited my $ 5 off Unilocal coupon. Upon pickup we talked at length about what he did and he answered all my questions. He didn’t try to sell me on anything I didn’t need. Highly recommend!

Awesome shop. The owner Jason really knows his stuff. He is not lying when he says he’s more excited about your set up than you are. When I get new parts in I get a phone call from him to come in, bring my bike and get it set up for the next ride. Really cool atmosphere at the store too. Cant wait till the new site is up and running
