Just had a mini split installed, the process was very fast and the guys did a great job keeping everything clean in the area they were working in. Right after the unit was installed it was making a clicking sound, Lincoln came right back and fixed it the same day. Now we have a super quiet and efficient heating/​cooling system in our space!

I gather these guys are really busy, super busy. I called on Monday to get an estimate for swapping out my old furnace. Thursday they were able to come and look at the job to make their estimate. Two weeks later and not a peep from them. If it takes this long just to get an estimate, I fear they wouldn’t be able to get time to come do the work till some time this Summer.
All I can guess is that they’re so busy working with other customers that they’re not interested in doing work for me.
If you want work done in a timely fashion, I’d recommend finding a different company who’s a little more motivated to do work.

Waited all day for an appointment with this company because my air conditioner is not working and it’s 90° outside. 15 minutes before the scheduled appointment they called and canceled and said they will have to reschedule because they’re busy in La Jolla. Poor scheduling and last minute cancellations are inexcusable. They need to remember that their customers have jobs too and can’t take off time just to have to reschedule for another day and miss more work. Terrible customer service!

Aairco just completed a rather difficult furnace installation for us. They completed the installation in a professional manner with friendly and helpful technicians. We could not be more happy and satisfied. I recommend Aairco as an outstanding vendor.

Aairco had originally installed the AC/​Heating system a little over 5 years ago when I remodeled the house. The air conditioner wasn’t cooling correctly so called Aairco and was able to get an appointment for repair on the same day. The technician came right on time, diagnosed the problem as a defective starting capacitor, replaced it and was done in ten minutes. Good service, good price, and there when I needed them. Great work guys!

I hired AAIRCO to install a new 3 ton compressor system. I will start by saying the technicians that came to my house were kind, courteous, and seemed competent.
The management, Chris, on the other hand has provided the worst customer service I have received from any company for 3 reasons.
1. His inability to manage his payments to vendors. He makes his inability to plan for the future directly the customer’s problem. Also his inability to communicate with the customer early on.
2. His inability to take responsibility for his business. Instead he pushes blame to his employees, owners, and the customer.
3. His inability to work with the customer to get the job done. To reach an endstate where both parties are happy with cold air in their house and AAIRCO getting payment from a happy customer.
AAIRCO installed the compressor system which took the entire day. When it came to testing the system, there was a leak in the coolant line. They were unable to find or fix the problem that day (I have no issue with that). The workers left on the note that we will re-​schedule in the near future and no payment is needed until they come back. Per the contract «Perform startup and operational testing.» Since coolant wasn’t introduced into the system, I am not sure how an operational test could have been performed.
Due to my work schedule (in the military and constantly out of town), and my wife works Mon-​Thurs every week, the only day I could schedule them to come back was on a Friday as AAIRCO doesn’t work on the weekends and I don’t have the liberty to take time off. After 1.5 months trying to re-​schedule, still no luck.
I never received a call from Chris about payment for equipment until 1.5 months after the original visit. I received multiple calls and messages from Chris while on a training trip with limited phone and internet connectivity, stating that they needed payment because it was approaching the end of the month and they needed to pay their vendors. I told Chris I was uncomfortable making a payment when the job wasn’t complete and the system wasn’t fully tested (i.e. cold air pumping into my house). He stated they did their job, and the leak was another problem/​job. My response was making it a priority to finish the job started would result in payment for the original job and «secondary» payment for fixing the leak. Chris’s response was «well it is hard to do that when you only give me one day a week to fix it.» (PLACING BLAME ON THE CUSTOMER) This tells me, the customer, I don’t care about your schedule, you need to work around mine (the company’s schedule).
After back and forth about the payments, I gave in to giving Chris my debit card. After sending my card number and being in the field for 2 days (for over 3 weeks I had been working 18 – 20 hour days, 7 days a week), I returned to an email from Chris saying he is sending this to collections because the debit card didn’t go through and he needed payment. We tried other forms of payment via email with no HE MADE HIS INABILITY TO BE FORWARD LOOKING IN ORDER TO PAY HIS VENDORS THE CUSTOMER’S PROBLEM!
Once I got back into town, I made a trip to Chris to pay via check. While there, I explained I was less than pleased with the service. When asked why his workers didn’t ask me for payment when they left, his response was «My workers got frazzled when they couldn’t find the problem and didn’t ask.» The correct answer for a GOOD manager is «I failed to communicate to my workers to ask for payment, or inform the customer we will need payment even if we don’t get rescheduled within X weeks.»
When asked why it has taken 2 months to get rescheduled, his response was «Well it’s hard when you only give me one day a week.» (PLACING BLAME ON THE CUSTOMER). The correct course of action for a GOOD manager, knowing your customer has a very limited schedule, is «let me work you into the schedule. Let me see if I can move around my schedule this Friday or next. We want to get your job finished so you have AC, we get payment, and possibly earn future business from you.»
When asked if it is a regular course of action to send payments to collections, his response was «Actually we have had to take payments against some customer’s houses. But this is the owner’s policy to do this, not mine.» Directly placing blame on the owners. Even if it is their policy, I believe this can be avoided with clear communications
2 Weeks prior, I was finally able to get into AAIRCO’s schedule for the following friday (3 weeks in advance). When this was brought up, Chris stated «We normally don’t make appointments that far out, so you’re lucky we did, so YOU’RE WELCOME.» At this point I gave Chris the check and walked out. I proceeded to find another company to finish the job AAIRCO did not finish. AAIRCO did not deserve to get 1 more cent of my hard earned money.

Very courteous and professional. Lincoln did an outstanding job cleaning both my heating and AC coils for a very reasonable price. We would definitely recommend these guys over any company that First American Homebuyers recommends.

A+++ Service! I was impressed of the turnover time from the appointment call to the show up time. He called me because he was already in the area on another service call. He looked around at the problem which happened to be a compressor that died. He gave me an estimate and he fixed the problem in no time. He was very personable too and easy to talk to. I really appreciated doing business with Aairco again! If you need good service ask for Lincoln.

My worst case scenario happened. Moved into my new place during the hottest weekend of the year. I mean it was 100 and lava outside for 5 days straight.
Anyway, I go to turn on the A/​C that night. I can hear the fan blowing but 2 hours later it is still 91 degrees inside. My dogs are having fits and getting overheating. I am melting away like an Indiana Jones bad guy. NIGHTMARE!!!
The next morning the owners call around and around and around. Every company is booked till Wednesday. HELLO! It is going to be 100 and lava again and this is Sunday. I know it’s the weekend but jeez this is an EMERGENCY! UGH! I feel a temper tantrum coming on!
They finally contact Aairco. Their response is that they can get a technician to the house in 40 minutes. WHAT!!! I almost jumped for joy when I found out.
Their technician Lincoln was an awesome guy. The owner took him through and by the time I got home, the A/​C was pumping out gloriously cool air. I don’t even think it took the full 40 minutes for him to get there. Lincoln was fast and personable. The freon was low. There was nothing else that needed fixing but he checked anyway. Lincoln admitted that they were swamped but he managed to squeeze us in.
Now that is how you run a business.
I will definitely be using this company again!

Seriously good work and seriously good people! Jimmy came out to estimate the job really fast, gave me my options, figured out what had to be done, and addressed all my concerns. He ordered the parts and a day and a half later he and Daniel were back to do the work. Daniel explained the new pieces and parts, cleaned up, and left. No muss, no fuss, no drama — these guys are efficient, they work clean, and they do the job right. If you need furnace or a/​c work you can’t do better in skill, quality, or price (yes, $$ savings too). CALL THEM!

These guys provide good and reasonable service and aren’t too expensive for what they do. They are also easy to work with and friendly.

On time. Very friendly and knowledgeable tech. Had our furnace working in under an hour. First had AirMaxx come out. They wanted to replace the circuit board and charge $ 486. Aairco determined that it was the gas valve. It works great now and cost $ 200 for time and parts. Very reasonable!
