Fleming’s Prime Steakhouse & Wine Bar

Flemings steak house! This is my favorite steak house! I had their Prime Rib special and it was delicious! From the salad, entrée and dessert it was very flavorful! The atmosphere looking over the Hudson River and view of NYC skyline! The service was superb! Definitely go back!

Food was spot on just like any Flemings. Service was so so, as our waitress did not seem very experienced. Out drinks took about 25 minutes to come out.

4 of us had dinner here last Saturday night. Everything we ate was honestly delicious — when you can make creamed spinach as tasty and appealing as a steak, you know you are doing something right. Our server Alex was top notch — professional, friendly and knowledgeable. The manager was kind enough to comp our two desserts, chocolate lava cake which was not mine and a delicious crème brûlée which was, because he overheard us talking about how it was our first time dining there. Oh and the bread and cheese they out on the table is not to be missed. $ 400 including tip for the 4 of us which we all thought was reasonable given location and quality. That included 3 glasses of wine, a few margaritas, 3 sides, 2 orders of lobster tails, an 8 0z filet and a 16 oz wagyu strip. Save yourself the toll on the GW and head here instead!

Food — ⁵⁄₅. The Happy Hour menu has a great variety of choices. Their complimentary potato chips are crispy and has a sweet aftertaste. The Pork Belly had a great aroma and goes really well with the sweet Cherry Chutney. Goat cheese has been emulsified into the grits to give it an amazing creamy consistency. The Prime Burger is juicy and topped with crispy maple bacon. The Gruyère cheese is of quality as you can smell its distinct fragrance as the burger is being brought to you.
Service — ⁴⁄₅. Very professional and friendly. Every staff member was willing to provide us with service even if it wasn’t «their table».
Price — ⁵⁄₅. The happy hour at Fleming’s has one of the best prices around! Most menu items range from $ 6-​$ 8 and all of them come with sides as seen in the pictures. The burger comes with cheese, bacon and choice of french fries/​onion rings as a side for only $ 8! A great place to dine after work!

Good steaks, nice service if not a bit over served on. it was a Tuesday night, but all good.

While I’m always apprehensive about chain restaurants in the world of steak houses Fleming’s is a grand slam home run. Wait staff is on top of their game even with a packed house. Went for wife’s birthday dinner and was blown away. Seafood tower was stacked with some of the freshest shell fish we’ve had in a while and I don’t think a single piece went to waste (as usual). Went with the wagyu strip steak which is a house specialty and it was one of the best tasting steaks I’ve had in recent memory. melted in my house from the first bite to the last. Finished the night off with lava cakes that rivaled the signature dish over at Chart House.
They also presented a birthday gift to my wife– a small box of chocolate and a $ 25 gift card that we’ll be using soon. Unbelievable experience. Will definitely be back

Everything is a la carte for starters. That is fine, but for such a pricey place, I expected an outstanding steak. I ordered the ribeye and got an under-​seasoned piece of meat. Absolutely disappointing. Nothing at all was outstanding, which is unacceptable for $ 100 per person average. Thus, I have no plans to return.

I’ve been there several time and that’s definitely my favorite spot in Edgewater.
The food is delicious and the restaurant also have a wide selection of wine + excellent service, every time I’ve been there.
They offer pre-​set menu certain days of the week and a bar menu everyday (5 to 7pm & 8 to 10pm).
Went there for several occasion: anniversary, date, working dinners and happy hour and I’ve never been disappointed.

Came here on a Thursday night. We were promptly greeted and seated. Our server was very attentive without being overbearing which I always appreciate.
We got our wine and steak entrees with mac and cheese and your usual side of mashed potatoes as well as veggies. Our steaks were cooked just as requested. They were good but I have had better. The food is good but not amazing. Definitely don’t cross out of your list it’s a good spot to wine and dine with your lady or friends. Service is great will be back.

High quality delicious items are on the menu at this Edgewater location. Scenic views and excellent service. Edgewater and Flemings has much to offer!

Service here is SO on point. I am a fan.
When service during Happy Hour is impeccable, it really says something about the management and employees. We sat outside bc the bar section was packed, but were seated inside in about 30 mins. We must’ve interacted with at least 5 servers/​runners and 2 managers during our entire stay; each was just as courteous and helpful as the last. You really get the sense that they work as a team to provide exceptional service quipped with a warm smile.
Beef carpaccio was delectable as always, sweet chili calamari was crispy & tangy, and the prime rib dip melted in our mouths. Def surprised by how tender the prime rib was! Thinly sliced and generously piled high for a proper mouthgasm. Awwwwyeaaaah.
Nothing but love for this spot. A+

Love the happy hour here!
Parking here is a bit difficult but everything else is great! Atmosphere, music, location that is near the river, and the quality of food! I tries 5.6.7. I will go back for 8.9.10 deal :)

Awesome happy hour specials at the bar. Be sure to get there right at 5 or else you’ll be waiting for a seat and possibly never get one. The bartenders know their sh*t and its fun to sit there and watch them kick ass. No matter how crazy busy they are, the service is always 100% from them (especially the female bartender with the long black hair, didn’t catch her name but she was awesome!).
Some highlights (food wise):
Calamari — the sauce its sautéed in is to die for. Order this, you will not be disappointed.
Burrata — some arugula with cheese on toasted garlic crostini… yummm.
Burger — with cheddar and bacon, very good and big enough to share.
One thing I wouldn’t order again was the pan crisped pork belly. It came with goat cheese grits and some type of chutney, which were the saving graces of the dish. The meat itself wasn’t anything special and somewhat blain. At least it was under $ 10 on the happy hour menu but on the regular menu it’s very expensive, save your money.
Also, there’s great views of the city, as the restaurant is lined with big windows.

Such a romantic date spot with elegant ambiance great NYC view friendly staff and prime location. Great drink menu they even have virgin cocktails. Food menu is about 2 pages long so not great variety but the taste is pretty good. Valet or self parking available. Classy fun place to be! Definitely give it a try. We were celebrating a special occasional so at the end of the night we were given a box of chocolates and $ 25 gift card for next visit. Such a sweet gesture!

Excellent customer service. You can order your meal exactly the way you want it. If you don’t want any sauce or whatever the way you like they will make it for you. Next time I know exactly how to order my dinner.

Petite Filet, Wagyu NY Strip, Fleming’s Potatoes, Crab Cakes, Pork Belly, Mushrooms, Asparagus all paired with some great Duckhorn Merlot and to finish strong, lava cake and crème brûlée.
Is it the best steakhouse ever? No. Is it extremely good? Absolutely.
Outstanding service, great atmosphere and steaks cooked to perfection.
My only gripe was the cleanliness of the restrooms, they need a nice detailed job as there was some grime on the base of the walls and the urinal.
I’ll certainly be back and I hope I once again have Alejandro as my server.
EDIT: I returned upon leaving my first review and I am glad to report the baseboards in the men’s room were spotless and so were the urns.

mehhhhhhh i’ve definitely had better steaks at these prices. I had a reservation for 6:15, was seated right away, although, when I made the reservations, they gave me a choice of 615, 730, 8, and when we got there, there were so many empty tables around that time, so why the limited time choices? I don’t get it.
It’s a nice venue, with the lights all dimmed to set the mood and the NYC skyline out the window. Got the menu and wine ipad thing, which is a cool feature, helped me pick a wine that went with my steak. okay, i’m hungry, let’s order.
Ordered the 20 oz prime ribeye and the dry aged prime ribeye to share with my gf. Waitress comes back and says they’re out of the dry aged, so we decided to just get 2 prime ribeyes. Got them both medium rare, with mashed potatoes and green beans as sides. The food came out pretty quickly, a lot faster than expected, so I’m excited. Steak was cooked to a good temp for medium rare, but the meat. Why so stretchy/​fatty/​hard to chew? A lot of the steak felt inedible and extremely hard to chew. Lots of fatty spots and not too many good bites of meat. Same with my gf’s steak. Fatty, hard to chew… not good. The sides were okay, but the green beans tasted like chinese food green beans –_​– It’s good and all but felt, cheap? Idk, it tasted out of place i guess.
The wine was good, thank you technology for picking it for me. The service was good as well, no complaints there. Had the cheesecake for dessert and that was good i guess? I’m not a big dessert fan, but my gf liked it so, sure. No porterhouse on the menu, disappointing prime rib. They gave me a $ 25 gift card to come back… doubt it. Good try tho.

Just about one of the best steaks I’ve ever had in my life.
I came here with my brother and first off: service is fantastic. They call to confirm your reservation, so off the bat I knew we were going to be well taken care of. And service throughout the dinner was too notch.
Now to the food:
Table Bread: I ate all of the free table bread. It was absolutely delicious, even as I as getting ready to eat my steak.
Filet Mignon with Lobster Tail: Oh boy, this is about the 2^nd best steak I’ve ever had. I’ve had many steaks in my life, so 2^nd best is nothing to laugh at. DELICIOUS. Does not need any additional sauces at all because anyone who knows anything about steaks knows that good steaks cooked right need nothing else. What did surprise me was that the lobster was deliciously flavorful and tender. I was expecting it to be dry like something you would get from Red Lobster, but it is not. I HIGHLY recommend this dish.
Creamed Spinach: Delicious, just delicious. I highly recommend getting this to complement your steak.
Crème Brulee: I was somewhat hesitant to get this as I already had a pretty filling meal, but this was just a nice treat to have after a delicious meal.
I highly recommend coming here for steak. Even though it is a chain restaurant, it is AMAZING. Well worth it and well worth the price. Amazing service and food = A+.

Gave it another chance and weren’t disappointed. Caitlyn is one of the best waitresses I’ve had the pleasure of dealing with! More attention to detail than I’ve ever seen. She made the experience even better!
We tried a few different dishes than previously:
Mac and cheese which was AMAZING!
Wedge salad which they split for my wife and I without even asking (once again, Caitlyn’s detail)
Paired the appetizers with a nice Chianti
Then ordered an interesting red blend for the entrees
My wife had crab legs that she was raving about
I had the wagyu which was great… Soft and well cooked!
Oh man… We were convinced into the carrot cake and it was so good that we finished it, licked the plate, and ordered another one to go! I highly recommend it! Highly!

Used to come here after work for drinks and a quick meal at one of the bar booths at least every other week. I’ve also had dinner on a few occasions over the past couple years. It’s a great place for strong martinis.
I absolutely love love love their mushroom ravioli– thin shells with fresh mushrooms topped with delicious, warm mushroom sauce. Perfecto!
They have a great selection of wine and the bartenders are decent mixologist and have no trouble recommending and tailoring drinks based on how you’re feeling. Had my first cucumber martini– I’m no fan of cucumbers but that martini was so refreshing, I felt my whole day’s stress washing off my shoulders.
Would recommend for family dinners, dates, and HH get-​togethers. The bar begins getting packed at around 6pm.
