As soon as the door opened it was amazing customer service and Torrone is now in my favorite flavors. Cannot recommend this place more.

This place is nice, but certainly not worth all the fuss. They use Lavazza coffee, which makes Café Bustelo look gourmet, especially they way they brew it here. The latte flavors, including that used for the lavender latte, is just Monin syrup. The chai latte is boxed Tazo chai concentrate poured into a cup with some mediocre «Italian» coffee for $ 4. It was meh.
I sampled the Torrone gelato. It was creamy but too soft, and the sweet flavor was lackluster.
If you’re in Dunedin and you’re desperate for coffee, go somewhere else. If you’re in Dunedin and desperate for a frozen treat then *please* go to Strachan’s next door because that is some of the most fabulous frozenness I have ever had.
I give this place two stars instead of one because 1) the service was great and 2) the place is immaculate. So good job there, Frost & Bean. Until then, step up your selection and lower your prices.

Italian Cookie Gelato…(think Biscoff cookies) is to die for!!! We got a small and split it, but we were definitely fighting over it the whole time. Amazing. Also had an iced Raspberry White Chocolate Latte.
Can’t wait to come back and try their gelato Belgian waffle when I have more room :)

The gelato is good for the area. Best there is actually. If you have authentic tastebuds they will be looking for a more Italian or new york flavor. The product is expensive. Do not buy a Coke here. $ 1.99 plus tax. You have got to be kidding. That is $ 12.00 a six pack. Coffee is good with all the delineation you expect again pricy for our little town

Love this little gem! The lavender latte is out of this world amazing! Seriously, would never have put lavender in my coffee before.. . But so glad these master coffee scientists have come up with it. When it comes to gelato, you can’t go wrong. It’s all made fresh, in store daily. And if you ever see the pineapple… GET IT! You’ll thank me later!

Really nice gelato shop in downtown dunedin. I ordered the pistachio gelato. It wasn’t the best pistachio gelato I have had, but I’d be willing to give something else a try. Portions are big so come prepared, I couldn’t finish my small gelato :(. Don’t forget to check in as you get 20% off your order.

Terrific hidden gem in Dunedin. Love the lavender vanilla latte! Who knew!?! And the Italian Cookie gelato is off the charts. Worth finding.

My new favorite gelato spot! Great location in downtown Dunedin with a contemporary décor. Service was great. The lady who worked there, who was outside 20 feet from the door, said hello to me as I was about to walk by the café. The full name Frost & Bean Gelato & Coffee Laboratory caught my attention so I decided to check it out even though I had a cup of coffee in my hand from another café.
As I walked in, the lady came in behind me and offered up some samples of gelato. I wanted to try everything because I could tell it was top quality stuff. But I didn’t want to get greedy, so I just tried a couple… blood orange and mango. Wow! That blood orange was bursting with flavor. The mango was also great. The texture of both were perfect. I wanted MORE! But I faced a very difficult first-​world decision… because they also serve these gelato cookie sandwiches that looked awesome. They are made with Italian cookies and are filled with either hazelnut or chocolate gelato, dipped in chocolate, nuts, etc. After deep consideration, I went with a two scoop cup of the gelati I sampled. The 20% off Unilocal check-​in offer made the great deal even better.
On top of that, the lady gave me a referral card for my next visit which gives me another great discount. I’ll definitely be back to try one of those gelato cookie sandwiches and sample the new holiday flavors coming up. Eggnog!

Man… this place is soooooo good. The Gelato is the best I have ever had. Dunedin needed a little coffee ice cream joint and this is better than I could have hoped for. Great flavors (the pistachio is to die for) and friendly service. We have been in three times in as many weeks! Thanks for coming to town!

I was out on an a mini-​adventure and came across this place last weekend. This is definitely a good place to go for a sweet treat and some very good gelato. The staff was veryyyyyy nice and welcoming, had a nice selection to select from and was a new, clean place to enjoy it in.
I shared a chocolate gelato cannoli (I think that is what he called it) which was amazing and was a lot lighter compared to a normal cannoli so I did not feel as guilty. I would definitely recommend you give this place a try!

I have been waiting all summer for this gelato and coffee bar to open and was not disappointed. I tried the chocolate and it a had a rich creamy flavor. I was told that the owner makes new batches of gelato every day. I can’t wait to go back and try the pistachio. They also have non dairy sorbets. This place is a great addition to Dunedin.
