My experience was what I expected from this class of hotel… and more. They hit on the items I expect: spacious, clean room; friendly staff; easy access from a major highway; free breakfast, free WIFI. This hotel is also one of the closest to Sundown Ski Resort, which was my destination. I’ll give an extra kudos for the extra large LG flat screen TV. I give a small ding for not having a microwave in the room(there was a fridge). Where this hotel exceeded my expectations is in the breakfast. Yes, they offer the items you expect in a hotel breakfast buffet. BUT, the woman did the food preparation really knew how to cook, and I have to tip my hat to her! For example, hotel buffet sausage patties tend to be overcooked and dry(hard). Her’s had a perfect softer texture and were nice and juicy. Was this a one time exception? Nope. The next day, they had ham instead, and it too was perfect texture and juicy. And lastly, while the buffet was supposed to open at 7:00 am on weekends, they actually were ready to go about 20 minutes early, which was very helpful for me since I had to be at my event at 8:00 am.

This hotel is in desperate need of updating! Had no choice tonight but would not recommend staying here. All furnishings are outdated, mattress very worn, carpets wet. Not at all comfortable and expensive for what they offer!

Our room was large, clean and comfortable, and the staff were very friendly. Breakfast was very tasty, and we had no problems with check-in or check-out. One glitch we ran into was the traffic pattern getting into and out of the hotel area — if you do the obvious thing and take the same way out of their lot as you came in, you quickly find you are forced to go north on Arterial away from US20.(You get the same problem if you are heading south on Arterial toward US20 and want to turn into the road leading to the hotel.) We got a little tangled up by this but it wasn’t a real hassle once we learned the other roads in the immediate area. It’s somewhat removed from the downtown area, and getting downtown from the hotel is a bit non-obvious(see above), but otherwise we had an enjoyable stay.

Simple, no frills, clean, and convenient hotel. Staff is friendly and extremely helpful. Breakfast is generally tasty. Price is reasonable. All good stuff. We will return the next time we are visiting family here!

Staying here for two nights over the weekend. Check-in was quick and easy. Our room is spacious, clean, and very cozy. Large flat screen tv, microwave, mini refrigerator, desk, and plenty of electrical outlets that don’t require you to move furniture out of the way for you to reach them. The pool is a little on the smaller size, but it’s a smaller hotel. We used the pool and hot tub in the first night. The breakfast each morning is delightful: sausage, biscuits and gravy, fresh fruit, cereal, oatmeal, waffles, bagels, and donuts. Great location; it’s near plenty of restaurants, grocery stores, movie theatre, and mall. Housekeeping came by each morning to refresh towels and take our garbage. My only qualm is that we were hoping to use our military discount but it isn’t offered on the weekends. I thought that odd, especially since it’s Veteran’s Day weekend. Regardless, I’d still stay here again and recommend it to others.

Much better than expected. Pleasant clean rooms(but lousy pillows) and friendly staff. The star is the breakfast. Hot items included scrambled eggs, ham, waffles, sausage & biscuits, plus the usual cold fare of cereals, yogurt, etc. The hot items are rotated so the options vary from day to day. The food was significantly better than what we’ve experienced at similar places. Also, this motel is well off the highway so no truck noise at night.
