My regular go to Chinese food restaurant in the Dubin area — I would recommend trying them out.

I’ve gone past this place hundreds of times(usually as I get onto 680) and the exterior is very deceiving. I honestly thought the place was closed… it just looks like an abandoned restaurant from the 70s. My sister, however, goes to this place fairly often and told me I should try it. After being convinced it was not out of business I went… it’s not much nicer on the inside, but the food is top notch. Even my wife, who is a VERY picky Chinese food eater, likes Shangrila. The food is high quality and the service is excellent. Those who say this is one of the better Tri Valley Chinese places are right.

Yes yes yes and yes! After a disastrous lunch at the koi palace(don’t ever go there), my mom and I were still craving good Chinese! We had just got back to the hotel, showered, and were relaxing when we came across a few places. I was desperate to find a place that delivered. I didn’t mind take out but the hotel parking was kinda limited and I didn’t want to park really far. So even though Unilocal didn’t filter it correctly they do deliver! If you ever want to know if a place really delivers try grub hub or call. Many times I’ve assumed they don’t deliver and turns out they do! Score. I called and they were very nice, took my order, and we waited about 25⁄30. Not very long. I appreciated the guy took the time to come to the door. Many times delivery people will just call you from downstairs and wonder why they get a shitty tip. I paid with my card online but I have a cash tip. He didn’t assume he was getting a tip and was very happy I left one. I’m assuming people don’t like to tip. I gave him $ 10, my bill was $ 29. He brought plates, napkins, sauces, and everything was hot and fresh! He was very nice and everything was packaged great. Often times they may leave certain containers open or they may spill. Food was fantastic! I will definitely order again next time I’m in San Francisco.

Ordered chicken chow mein, pork fried rice, BBQ pork, and general tsous chicken. Chow mein and fried rice were both bland, but perked up with a little sauce from the BBQ pork. The BBQ pork and general chicken were both very flavorful. There was enough food for 4 adults with a little chow mein left over. They deliver, which is great, but they charge $ 3. I live about a mile away, but have a bum foot, so used the delivery option, and they were here in 35 min! Overall, I’d go back and recommend it to anyone who asks. Not the best, but not the worst. I will try something different next time.

The best Chinese restaurant in Dublin, maybe the tri-valley. Cannot go wrong with anything you get there. General Tsou chicken is my favorite(says it is spicy but only because it is cooked with chili pods). Fried rice or steamed rice with lunch and dinner specials. And huge portions! You will not leave with your stomach empty. This place is very underrated and should have more recognition. Do not let the outside fool you! A long time ago it was a fast food restaurant so it does not look appealing.

This is my go-to Chinese. Be careful though, don’t order online. they haven’t quite figured the system out. The orange beef, orange chicken, cashew chicken, chow-mien, and hot and sour soup is good.

Rock solid Chinese cuisine, getting a must try stamp from me. I had the Mongolian Beef and Shrimp Chow Mein. The noodles are savory and among the best I’ve had in the Bay. No small shrimp, decent medium size and not overcooked. Have some chow mein, it will please you if you like that deep soy saturated umami flavor. While the Mongolian was a close 2nd to another restaurant; I really appreciate the pepper kick they throw in and the way that hot sesame oil lingers is priceless. I didn’t have to wait long for my dishes or send special instruction on how I like my food, they just got it right the first time. Drinks were also timely and service excellent. Return visit definitely in the works, I can’t wait to explore more of the Shangri La menu.

My favorite Chinese place EVER!!! The Sesame chicken dinner plate is to die for! It’s a good two timer meal because the portion is huge!

We came across this place through Unilocal because we were looking for a place that delivers. We were pleasantly surprised that we were able to order online. Some places are hit and miss so we didn’t know what to expect, but Shangrila is really good. We love the combination fried rice and lemon chicken. So far we haven’t been disappointed! They’re very nice and delivery was really quick!!!

We haven’t found a better Chinese food restaurant in the Dublin area. Food is always very tasty and service it’s always good. We usually order the Chicken chow mien, shrimp rice, General’s chicken, orange chicken, and veggie egg rolls. All the items are delicious.

Wow! I have been looking for a Chinese restaurant that delivers and DELIVERED they did! Not only our food but in quality! So impressed, I don’t even mind paying the higher prices. Really, really great food! All vegetables in each dish were large and cooked perfectly. The chow mein was so good and each container of meat dishes — the meat was plump and juicy, melted in your mouth! So happy!!! Thank you Shangri-la, we will be back!

I’ll admit, the location and the look of the building is way unappealing, and the dining room is really vanilla; I think it had to be a Lyon’s or Carrows in its former life. But, I took a chance since it was the closet Chinese resto to where we live and I was quite impressed. Their food is actually quite decent of basic Chinese food, definitely better and authentic vs. Panda Express. For dinner, you can order ala carte or they have dinner specials which come with rice, egg roll, chicken chow mein, and an entrée for $ 12.95 which isn’t bad at all. We’ve ordered from them three times, once by delivery. So far we’ve had their fried chicken wings which are bomb, beef chow fun, orange chicken, sweet and sour pork, curry chicken(a little watery), and mongolian beef(really good!). Speaking of delivery, they’re pretty quick! They charge $ 3 but I think it’s worth it, especially during those evenings when you just don’t want to leave the house. #ChineseFoodInDublin

The food here has been consistently good over the last year and a half. Still our go-to for Chinese food place! Our favorites: — egg rolls — hot and sour soup — chicken chow mein — sesame chicken — Mongolian beef — Szechuan chicken — potstickers The potstickers themselves are yummy, but Shangrila’s sauce is nothing special(oil and red pepper flakes, I believe?) so we’ll make our own potsticker sauce at home if we want to order them. Bonus points: The lady at the front desk always remembers to give us extra sweet and sour sauce for our order of egg rolls :)

I was pleasantly surprised by this place. The outside of the building isn’t much to look at and the inside isn’t much better. However, the food was good and they gave me a generous take out dinner portion. If you are looking for good food that’s reasonably priced in Dublin, try Shangri-La! Don’t judge a book by it’s cover! This place is worth a try!

It’s cheaper than PF Changs which is always a plus but the quality of beef isn’t great. It’s similar to cheap Chinese takeout. The general tso is good. The Mongolian beef is ok. There wasn’t anything about the food that was excellent but there also wasn’t anything awful. The lady that helped me was really nice

The food was okay and service is excellent. Servers made us feel welcomed and like family. Beef chow fun was tasty but light on meat. Beef with broccoli was okay and broccoli seemed undercooked. Place needs to be redecorated both inside and out. Servers brought this place up to three stars.

It’s good. I ordered delivery: eggplant(seasoned not overcooked) and Chinese chicken salad(they filled my request for dark meat) and wor wonton soup-filling and well-balanced. $ 30 but worth good food delivered to my door.

I’ve really enjoyed this place. I’ve tried several Chinese places in the Tri-Valley, and so far, this is my favorite. It can be a little greasy, depending on what you order, but the food is tasty and they have great lunch specials. I really enjoy the Mongolian beef. The place is cute inside too, and it’s nice that it’s right by the highway. There are always people there, but the food never takes long.

Ordered the black pepper beef dinner special. As you can see, portion size was generous. This dinner special includes a huge portion of beef and peppers, rice, chow mein, and an egg roll. The beef was pretty well cooked. Only giving 1 star off because I would have preferred more well done and more spicy(I’ll ask for that next time). Called and ordered take out. Quick, easy, and was ready in less than 15 minutes. If anyone’s been reading my reviews they’ll know I’ve been dying for some good chinese and I think I may have just found it.
