AA Quality Construction

We hired Alex and his crew to do a few upgrades to a workshop space including replacing old rickety double doors with a nice new door, replacing stairs up to the porch, replacing trim that had rotted on the roof, fixing a large hole in the flooring, and removing a large exhaust fan and tank. Communication was good considering the scope of our project (one day’s worth of work), Alex did let us know that it might take some time to get to us because of other very large projects he had going on. Therefore there were a number of e-​mails exchanged trying to pinpoint the date of the job. Alex’s crew was very nice and professional and the only thing that I had an issue with was the way one of the steps was installed (directly on to dirt instead of on to poured concrete). Though Alex pointed out that it was pressure treated wood and would hold up well, I was concerned about stability on a ground that will likely be very muddy this winter. It is something that we should have brought up prior to the job starting and he did make quick arrangements for his crew to come back out and do it the way we preferred for an additional fee. However, the overall cost was very satisfactory considering how much work they did and the quality.

Alex and his crew did a wonderful job on our master bathroom remodel. Alex was very patient in explaining options and timetables. The job was done professionally and to our liking. I will be definitely be calling Alex the next time we choose a remodel.

Alex and his crew completed a few projects for us in the past few years. He is knowledgeable and very reasonably priced contractor. They get the job done quickly and right at the first time. Like others, I chose AA Construction based on the glowing reviews on Unilocal and b/​c he was able to complete the work within a time line we were comfortable with. In reviewing our bathroom renovation project, Alex was very detail oriented and he answered our questions in a very honest and professional manner. He gave us his recommendations when asked and his experience with specific materials that we were considering using in our new remodel. One of the signs of a great contractor and crew is how they approach and deal with hiccups and problems encountered during the renovation process. AA crew were very courteous, professional and Alex was very considerate in letting us know what the issues were and gave us options for effective solutions that helped us stay relatively within our budget for the project. He and crew were very patient with our questions and concerns and worked diligently and skillfully to ensure a beautifully finished bathroom that we enjoy using daily. Long overdue but we were very happy with the work done. It was a major upgrade for our relatively new home we got done last summer. We had AA install tile/​marble in our bathrooms and tiles in all rooms of the first floor.

The three most important factors for finding the right contractor for me are: quality of work, timeliness of the project and cost of the job. AA Construction delivered on all three of these factors to our satisfaction and exceeded our expectations in other areas. Alex and his team are professional artisans who know their craft and take an immense amount of pride in their work. The results are well thought out and careful but also executed efficiently in terms of time and money. His crew is courteous, tidy and skilled.
Alex guided us through a bathroom remodel, giving us suggestions along the way but also allowing us the flexibility to customize the details to our liking. Alex approached this project with the attitude that this was not just a ‘work site’ but that he and his crew were entering someone’s home and space. This is a stark difference compared to many contractors these days who are not considerate or respectful. He and his crew are also very patient when key decisions need to be made. Alex provides his advice when asked and supports his recommendation with sound construction justification based on prior experience rather than just providing an opinion. Since this initial project, additional work on our home was needed and we decided to wait until Alex and his superior team were available. He has ‘raised the bar’ of what to expect out of contractors, which will be very hard to match or even attempt to exceed. We will certainly work with Alex and his team again.

Alex and his team are a step above. We had them re-​do a bathroom last year, and I looked foward to having them back to do the second bathroom this year. Its not often that you can say you look forward to having construction done on your house! Alex is very perfessional, and clean, which makes the process so much less stressful. Their workmanship is top-​notch, they are accountable, and Alex sticks to his quote. I won’t hesitate to recommend him to family and friends. We are lifetime clients!

We were very impressed with Alex and his team’s work on our recent bathroom remodel. After such a great experience back in April, I called up Alex and his team to install an all-​house fan in our upstairs hallway. With a little lead time, Alex was able to fit me in to his busy schedule, and the result is fantastic. The fan looks like it belongs in its new space, and the work has that polished and finished look I appreciate as a homeowner. These guys are top-​notch. I’ll be calling them again in the near future.

I highly recommend using AA Quality Construction. They remodeled my bathroom and it looks great. They are reasonably priced, always punctual, and very friendly. even though there was a delay in the arrival of my vanity top from the store I ordered it from they still finished the job on time. I would definitely hire them again.

Alex of AA quality construction is on top of all of the details and cares about doing the job well and on time. We were in a hurry to get our bathroom redone before the arrival of our baby. Alex was prompt with delivering a fair price quotation and patient with our questions. He shows up on time and manages the job and his staff closely. He and Peter worked late and Alex even came over on a Saturday to get the job done on time. They accommodated our busy schedules and timeline, even making a few trips to the hardware store for items that we could not fit into our cars. We were appreciative that they left our house as tidy and clean as one could expect during a remodel at the end of each day. We are now enjoying our new bathroom with plenty of time to spare!

I have to say these guys are now my go to for anything home related. They are reasonably priced, show up when they say they will, clean up after themselves, and do a great job! We remodeled three bathrooms with Alex and Peter, and have had other electrical things done, and I loved the job they did.

We are very pleased with our new bathroom that Alex and his team put together. Even with the additional work they had to do after what was found during the demolition, it still came in within the original estimate. They also took the time to answer in detail each question i had. Their workmanship was very good and they made sure each detail was covered. They also gave some good tips to help make the overall look come together. They also did an excellent job cleaning up after the job was done. I would highly recommend them!

AA Quality Construction did an outstanding job on my bathroom remodel! The quality of work is excellent. It can always be tough letting someone have free access to your home during a construction job, but with Alex and his team it was no sweat. Everyone is very trustworthy and very friendly as well. Most importantly they are very professional and make sure you get the highest quality of work. They do not cut corners, and they make sure the job is done right. We were so pleased with their work that we plan to use their services again when it comes time to remodel the other bathroom.
