Clarence is a class act. Not only is he extremely competent – he clearly knows Mercedes and BMW inside and out – but he’s extremely fair, honest and just plain likable. I have 100% confidence in his work and in his character. You won’t find any better.

Clarence allegedly became a mechanic because he was sick of being ripped off. Whether true or not, he sticks by his word and keeps repairs efficient and reasonable. He actually THINKS about the car as a system and goes through an orderly checkout before randomly replacing this and that in an effort to make problems go away. His work is excellent, his prices are reasonable, and he is an interesting and knowledgeable fellow. Now, if he could only clone himself. That’s one of the drawbacks — he’s a one man shop — so sometimes you have to queue. The other is that he professes to only work on BMW and Mercedes vehicles, although he might have an opinion on other makes. He is certainly an asset to this area.

Clarence Vandeveer is the MAN when it comes to maintenance of your BMW or Mercedes. I’ve used Clarence for the past 3 years, for work on both my wife’s BMW 540 and an old Mercedes roadster.
He is knowledgeable, fair in his pricing, stands behind his work, and gets the job done efficiently.
The BEST part, however, is that Clarence is a one-​man owner-​operator. When you take your car there, you’ll be assured that the experienced owner is working on it, not some goof-​ball straight out of highschool.
Thumbs up to an honest, knowledgeable, and experienced craftsman!
