Boondocks Fun Center South

Not really too impressed with Boondocks. It’s okay but extremely overpriced in my opinion. Although you can have some fun but it only lasts so long…

A fun place to go with lots of different activities. I wish that they would lay out the pricing and packages a little better. I felt like we overpaid for what we got.

This used to be the best place to take kids but it changed a little bit ago… they got rid of the ticket machine got rid of all the cool games that spit out a ton of tickets… got rid of the token machine… now everything is just a card… great just what we need another company that doesn’t want you to be Hands-​On with anything… everything seems to disappear that is tangible… anyway the go-​karts are still fun miniature golf is fun but other than that the video games are not fun anymore or the games that don’t give you tickets… because there are no more tickets.

I love going here for the arcade games, sometimes a game of mini golf, and once in a great while, some laser tag! This place usually almost always some sort of deal going on; game tokens are normally 87 for $ 20, but they often have a deal at the counter– 100 tokens for $ 20, that’s a pretty good price, as it keeps my family of 3 entertained for a decent amount on time! Plus, you can buy a bunch of these 100 packs and save them for later, it’s a great way to utilize this all the time! Right now, they are doing $ 40 in tokens for $ 20 (again, at the counter).
Also, they offer the unlimited $ 12 Tuesday deal, but there are plenty of games that aren’t included in it, basically any of the ones where you get tickets and some of the new and popular ones are excluded.
As for the ticket redemption, as most arcades are, they offer crap for your hard earned tickets! However, they do have a few big prizes my son has his eye on, although they change every time we come in, I am sure something will catch his eye when he reaches the 10,000−20,000 amount, he’s already got several thousand saved up! The awesome kids who work here will take all your ticket receipts from the machine and give you one new one so you’re more likely to retain them all, so long you don’t lose it!
The employees here are good about refunding your tokens when the machines eat them, even when you dump about 8 in, not seeing that t isn’t registering your coin input.

Games and arcades.
What more is there to say? Come here full, their food is junk.
The only thing I can complain about is paying the machine big amounts of money, only to realize that if you went to the counter to speak with a person with the same amount, you would get more tokens.
What the hell man.

Great place for kids birthday parties.
Just wish there was more comfortable seating for the parents. Prices are very reasonable to.

It appears some employees might need a refresher on the rules. For example, Zane doesn’t understand that line jumping is wrong and he should put a stop to it. We wait in line for 45 minutes to ride the simulator after he let a group of 6 kids continue to take turns with each other and not get back in line. As an employee he should have put a stop to it and spoke up. Kids shouldn’t run the show and tell him what to do. Later on when we were playing arcade games the machines kept eating the coins. Once again we encountered Zane in the games and told him about the issue. He proceeded to «attempt» to win the game and win the ball in the one we lost the coins in. When he DIDN’T win he said too bad and moved on, as if his turn and attempt was like us getting our refund. No, we wanted our coins back. He obviously doesn’t understand how things work. He obviously needs to read the rule books again or be spoken to. Pretending to «fix» the games is not good enough. We were extremely disappointed. The only thing that made me give them 2 stars was the fact that the woman who I assume is the manager tried to fix the problem by giving us extra coins back for our lost time. I don’t think I will be returning though.

We had a great time with all our kids and grand kids. There were plenty of fun activities for all ages. My teenagers loved the laser tag. The go carts were fun but it was raining so we got very wet but the attendants were very responsive when there were spin outs and did a good job of keeping people safe. The only drawback is after a while, the noise got to be a bit much. There were a bunch of loud kids. Granted, we went on a Saturday evening which probably is their busiest time. We would go again.

Employee let a whole group cut in line because they were dumb and stood in the wrong line. Obviously the employee wasn’t paying attention be a use we were in line first. This was go karts slick ttack at 12:46 I think his name tag said zack.
We loved MIA as our party employee. She took care of our group of teenagers. The food was delicious.
Unfortunately the review score is due to the weakest link hosting boondocks and unfortunately that’s the ride operations.

Super run down! And although the staff are obviously younger kids, they have the WORST attitudes! I know they have to deal with screaming children all day but they do not have to be rude!

I was visiting from Chicago last summer and obtained unlimited passes. I took my nephews (4.5 and 2.5 at the time) and they had a blast! The lady at the counter was very nice in explaining what they had to do there for kids their age.
We started with Kiddie Cove (the playground) and they played the little games for awhile then tried out the playground. The other games weren’t for their age but my friend and I had tons of fun! The boys did too, despite being younger and not fully understanding the games! We were going to try bumper boats but my nephews got scared… and was too hot for mini golf. We had some pizza and ice cream and it wasn’t half bad! Is it a 5 star restaurant? No… but is it as bad as some people say? Definitely not. Despite being ridiculously crowded for a Thursday afternoon, the place was still pretty clean inside and the counter staff was still pretty speedy.
Definitely going back this summer when I go to visit!!!(will edit my review after I experience the outside attractions, if needed)

$ 12 Tuesday is a good deal but doesn’t include go-​carts which is a bummer.
Food at the restaurant inside is good.
Wings are the best and pizza is second.
Had a salad too.
Been here many times now.

Very clean tons of cool games and rides three stars for the young kids they hire that can’t keep up on a busy day over priced not that great food that takes 30 min to even get. Overall ok.

So nice and clean here! Great value when you buy the $ 20 wrist band. Most fun for ages 4 and older… even much older — I saw a 70+ year old guy having a blast on the bumper boats wet ride. ;) The two different mini-​golf courses are in great condition. There is a fun climber just for little ones too. I’d give it 5 stars if they had much healthier food options.

Better than Chuck E cheese! More varieties of games & things to do. Love the go-​karts, laser tag, and miniature golf! Great for the whole family!

For the Chucky Cheese graduate lol really fun for kids and adults. Great for parties but can get dicey finding the place if you arent familiar with the south of the valley. Food is ok, pizza is aweful stick to the fried foods.

This is a great place to spend with your family. We go at least once a year usually during the summer I don’t think they are open in the winter, maybe. But the kids love it and its a great way to spend a weekend.

This place not only has go karts but 2 types of go karts. Rookie for kids and slick track for the adults. I had never go karted before and didnt think Id be too into it but it was gooood! Super fun! Also batting cages, mini golf, an arcade and bumper boats. There is also a part next to the bumper boats where you can squirt water at those who are in the boats… heh heh.
