All Star Bowling

Place is awesome. Everything is new, clean and comfortable. Especially in the adult only bar area. Plenty of games to play — something for everyone. Subtracting one star for snotty and indifferent service. Subtracting another star for subpar food. Menu sounds good, but doesn’t deliver on flavor. Go for great bowling environment and stick to the drinks. Sorry wanted to love the full experience.

Pretty much the worst. It should be called All Star Unfun Center. Everyone I spoke to was rude. We waited almost 2 hours before we got a lane. They also do not inform you that when you bowl you pay by the hour, not the game. So, we barely got half way through before it was shut off. Waste of 44 dollars. We had also bought food to eat while we bowled and once the game was over we were rudely asked to leave even though we had a lot of food/​drinks left. We didn’t leave until we finished eating but they were not happy with us. They even brought the manager over to try and get us to leave before we finished eating. Definitely will not go back and suggest they change their policy of bowling per game, not time. Wouldn’t hurt if they had some good customer service.

I think of this as a bowling alley, but that’s wrong. It’s not just a bowling alley. In fact, it’s actually a small bowling alley when you get right down to it. That’s because it’s not JUST a bowling alley, it’s so much more than that. It’s an arcade. And a bar/​lounge. And laser tag. And bumper cars. And mini bowling.
Whereas there are other entertainment centers that are all affiliated and they sell you (and tens of thousands of others) a mega pass for mega cheap, this is still the good old fashioned pay as you go. And it shows. Whereas the other pass-​based places are run down and jenky, All Star is nice. This is a new-​ish location, and it’s a nice facility. I haven’t been into the bar/​lounge (called Pins & Ales) but it looked nice from the outside.
All Star is owned by the same folks who own Bonneville Brewing, so you’ll get your choice of locally brewed beer if you go to the lounge. But whether inside or out, you can get food. It’s pretty standard pub fare (pizzas, nachos, etc) but it’s fine. Nothing crazy, and it’s actually reasonably priced. Most places bring you in and hold you hostage (think: airports) and charge whatever they want, but I fed a small group for about $ 20.
Speaking of prices, check their website. You probably won’t find deals on the weekends, but in off peak times there are often specials to be had. Cheaper rates after certain hours, or deep discount nights, or bundle deals, or whatever.
As bowling goes, it’s a small alley. The seating is a little awkward and you’re kind of open to the group in the adjacent lanes. But it’s nice and in great condition. You can pay by the game, or pay by the hour.
I’ve recently come to appreciate well-​rounded and dynamic experiences like this. Sure, it’s nice when something has one great aspect to it. Specialization, as it were. But there’s a lot to be said for something like All Star, that’s got so much to offer in once package that you hardly can take it all in.

They have done an amazing job in revamping this venue. It had been years since my family had come to AllStar. It is now the best bowling and entertainment venue in Utah (nothing else compares). We bowled, played laser tag, played nice new video games, and ate like pigs. My kids wanted to ride the new bumper cars and play mini golf (next time).

Enjoyed our bowling last night! Great lanes. If everyone in your group is over 21 there is a separate area with a bar and lanes.
Very clean.

Comfy couches.

Went here while visiting friends in Salt lake city — Amazing place — besides bowling, there are lots of very current arcade games in great condition and the food was awesome! Like a Dave & Busters, only better!

This was my first time at this bowling alley, we were there for a school event. We only did bowling, so I can’t say anything about other attractions, but I was very impressed with what we experienced. The place was clean and new. The shoes didn’t feel gross. The couches were nice. The pizza was good. It seems they have cocktails available — there were menus on the tables but not sure if it’s in the evenings or any time. The place definitely made me want to come back, especially for a grown-​up bowling night.

I came here on a Wednesday morning for a work team builder, so in terms of price, I can’t really speak to that, but the overall atmosphere that I had while I was here was great. We came bowling for two sets and all had a good time along with lunch. The bowling area we were in was the adult area that has a dance floor set up and a decent sized bar area as well. Everything was clean and I didn’t feel like my feet immediately needed to be washed after putting my feet in the bowling shoes. As for the food, I had a club sandwich and it’s pretty hard to mess that up, so it was pretty standard. It did come with fries as well and they were nice and crispy. The beers and the mixed drinks the bar offered were great. The beers on tap are from a local brewing company as well, and that’s always a really nice feature. They have a pretty large arcade area and the games are all mostly new and overall in pretty great shape. The prices for the games were a little steep, but overall not too bad. We didn’t get to go mini golfing or play laser tag (to my dismay) but I’m sure I would have found the same quality and cleanliness there that I found in the rest of the location. Not a bad place to spend the night if you’re looking for something to do in the Draper area.

Great place, very clean, awesome bowling lanes and lots to do. The only complaint I have is WAY OVERPRICED on the weekends. The prices get quadrupled the normal price and they don’t seem to mind doing it. Bring the prices down to reasonable and you get more stars!

NEVER EVER come here on a weekend! $ 50 for a family of 5 to play ONE game. Totally felt ripped off!

I came here for a fundraiser held by my girlfriends company. $ 20 got us all you can eat food, drinks, laser tag, mini-​golf, bumper cars, and more. Determined to make our trip worth more than $ 20, we set out on an adventure.
First we started with Mini Golf. Valued at $ 4. The course was nice enough, not enough obstacles or cool little features though. The most complex thing they had were tunnels you could try to hit your ball through. I’m not an avid mini golfer, but I do enjoy a game here and there. It’s 9 holes and a few more cool obstacles would make it worth more than a play through.

After that we ate some pizza. Since we had unlimited pizza included in our wristband, we had to estimate the value of the pizza. A normal pizza sells for $ 10. I probably ate half a pizza, so I’m saying $ 5 in pizza ate.

We also had unlimited drinks… it was nice to be able to go fill up a cup with a variety of drinks and soda at anytime. They had Bonneville Cream Soda and root beer as well, and I’m a complete sucker for weird drinks that you don’t normally see. They also had captain somethings root beer. An excellent selection, I’ll value it at around $ 3.

Laser tag is $ 6 for a 10 – 15 minute round. It’s not the largest arena and I don’t think I’d play here for $ 6, but included on my wristband I was completely up for it. We did two rounds and had a good time. It was also really, really hot in there.

The last stop on our journey was the bumper cars. They are these weird cars with a balloon like ring around them to bounce off the other cars with. You can also spin them in circles really easy. We did this twice, once bumping around and the second time just spinning in circles. They were the highlight for sure. I think it was $ 3 for a 10 minuteish ride.

So in the end I got about $ 30 worth of stuff out of my wristband. It was a good trip and I was surprised how much I, a 27 year old man, enjoyed it. Employees were all good, everything was clean, overall a great experience.

Average to below average bowling experience to be expected. When the day calls for bowling however it may be the only place to go.

Omg. Such a complete rip off. Staff are clueless and rude. Tokens, tickets, cards. It’s really hard for kids to figure out and parents to monitor. And the staff can’t help explaining a damn thing. It’s a nickel and dime con game. Sad, could be pretty cool. But would never waste my money here again.

My husband and I booked a party here for our bachelor/​bachelorette party in May. We had such a good time and so did all of our wedding party! We had a section in the bar area and it was a great spot to mix and mingle with each other. The décor was upscale and our server was very attentive. We played laser tag as well and it was so much fun! The design of the laser tag is so cool and we all loved playing!
The only negative was our contact at All-​Star. We had to book our event through the coordinator on-​site but she was very hard to get a hold of. We simply wanted to upgrade the package of our event and it was so hard to get an updated quote from her. You would think she would have wanted us to secure our event and confirm it with a credit card, but it was so hard to get the correct information from her. For everyday guests, this won’t be an issue, but if you want to book a party at this location, be aware the coordinator might not be the best at getting back to you. She didn’t greet us when we arrived to make sure everything was correct either. I don’t think she was there.

First time at this bowling alley and I’m super impressed! This place is huge! Tons of arcades, clean, and updated!
They have an adult/​bar part of the bowling alley with about a dozen lanes and tvs everywhere! Looks awesome to host a private party.
I loved how nice this place was. I’ve been bowling for years and as much as old grungy, stinky bowling alleys are apart of the culture and perhaps bowling tradition. It’s nice to do it at more of an upscale place.
I’ll definitely be back! Both for family and friend outings. My daughter is going to love this place.

I love it! Everything is so clean and updated. Definitely worth the drive. Parking is easy and location is also easy to find. It is a little pricey but worth every penny to me. Lots of cool and fun arcade games and the music, atmosphere and people are just absolutely amazing.

Fun place to come bowling, even when they are busy they always will have an open lane. Clean place, prices are fair and some days it’s real cheap.

This is the best place to bowl that I have ever been to. Yeah, five stars for a bowling alley, I know, I can’t believe it myself. It’s clean, it doesn’t feel like a bowling alley, they have good food, it’s organized, it’s new, they have huge TV’s all over the place and they even have a private adult bowling alley that is separate from the main area. If you want a new bowling experience give this place a try. To all other 1970’s like bowling alleys, good luck.

All Star Bowling is without question THE BEST bowling alley I’ve ever been to! It was very clean and well maintained and the staff was great. There was a separate bowling areas just for adults, separate from the general bowling. It was nice to have a section for only adults and if you’re so inclined there was a full bar too. I also liked that there was a lot of comfortable seating near the bowling areas so everyone had someplace nice to sit.
All of the bowling lanes in the adult area had HUGE televisions screens showing various shows and sporting events. I’m not sure if you could change the channel, but I suspect they would change it for you if you wanted to watch something in particular.
Besides bowling there are also many arcade games, laser tag, and other activities available at All Star Bowling. It really was a nice place and I’ll definitely be going back!

DRAPER, UT: I came here for a work event and everyone loved it. The location is new and really nice: the bowling is top technology and plays music videos above your lane. The have mini bowling as well that is like a cross between bowling and ski ball. The arcade games are awesome (a little pricey) but they have 3D games, immersive games, and others that I haven’t seen before. Really high quality.
The laser tag is a lot of fun and they have updated technology, and they have party rooms that include a pizza buffet and sodas. I liked it better than Dave and Busters.
