The owner has had 20 years of experience in the sports apparel industry. He opened The Locker Room of Downey in January 2012 in the City of Downey. As a small business owner he believes in bringing quality merchandise at affordable prices to the local community. We provide great customer service to all our customers and strive to build relationships for years to come.

I keep coming back to purchase my new era fitted hats here… they have tons of choices and always find they have my size in stock! That just the tip of the ice berg though. their selection of jerseys and sports apparel is monumental! Perfect spot for all the south California teams. a must stop for any sports fan! I walked in here last week to purchase 2 Kershaw Jersey’s for my boys and a Dodger Shirt for myself and let me tell you their prices are very reasonable, oh and by the way they are Majestic not a cheap brand at all. I work across the way and I really wish I would have came in here sooner, the sales person Christian was super helpful and very patient, I also met Ivan and he was very kind and asked if everything was okay, I will definitely be coming back here again. I recommend this place for sure!!! GO DODGERS!!!

This is a gold mine for Sports gear for ALL your favorite teams! You can find anything and everything for tons of sports team (especially local teams). They also carry ALL sizes, from baby, toddler to adult. The Locker Room carries baseball, football, hockey, basketball gear for all your favorite local teams YEAR ROUND! Everything is good quality, from shirts to socks, hats, mugs, shot glasses, wallets — you name it, they got it! I was relieved to find UCLA shirts (out of football season) for my son, nephew, and dad all in one place. I searched online and the many sports stores at the mall but could not find the right sizes or sport teams. I am so happy to have found The Locker Room of Downey!

I love this spot! They have a great womens selection with a lot of sizes! I got a really cute black kings sweater for a hockey game a few months ago and I wear it all the time! I just went back to get a dodger sweater and they had a big selection with all the sizes. I got a sweater from the Alyssa Milano capsule collection in an extra small. It was hard not to get a tank top, hat and matching socks! Lol I’ll be back to get those items for the next game!

I arrived right before closing time & the doors were already locked! Not smart business people. Business times are meant to be kept. Locking the door regardless of 5 min before closing time isn’t correct.

This place is the place to get all of your sports gear. I got invited to a Dodgers game but didn’t have anything to wear so I stopped by based on the great reviews. They were so helpful there, especially Maria. She walked me through all of the clothing and was really patient with me, especially because had no knowledge of anything sports. Will definitely come back next time I have to buy sports related products.

I came in to absorb what they have and I left with a cool pair of LA Dodgers socks that I can use for cycling when the weather becomes cool back home in Florida. Description: Standard L.A. team logo, white on blue, with the logo on each side of the ankle and «Dodgers» on the feet bottom :-)

I’ve Been Coming here since they first opened, Best Sports Store By Far!
Ivan always helps me out super cool guy, He runs the store and Always gives me his Best opinion! I stopped going to the mall ever since I found this place, Better Quality Better Prices Better Selection! They have all type of Team Gear From Every Sport Especially Dodgers! I love how they provide a huge variety of everything From Jerseys, T-​Shirts, Caps, Beanies, Sweaters, Flags, Banners, Mugs, Purses, Blouses, Socks, Keychains etc for men, women, children and infants! Great selection of Dodger gear! They also carry various football teams and of course Lakers apparel all year long. I have found great gifts, tall beer glasses, shot glass, scarves, purses even Christmas ornaments. The Locker Room has a nice selection of hats as well. This is the only place I buy hats :)
The best part is the customer service! Very friendly and helpful and yes they do remember and value their customers upon returning.

Awesome store for all your sports fanatic needs! They have all teams you can think of and the variety of items is great. The people who work there are very helpful and if for whatever reason an item you want isn’t available, they’ll look in the back or order it for you if needed.
I’ve been coming here since they opened, this has become my spot to buy gifts for my family’s birthdays or during the holidays and stuff for myself as well!

I was referenced this place by a chain store. I was looking for the 2015 Breast Cancer Awareness Month NFL caps; no one had them. This store does, as well as other things for the sports fan.
If you’re a fan of the local teams, they’ll have everything for you. From apparel to patches to signs; they should have it. LOTS of Dodgers jerseys, from new players like Kershaw and Puig to legendary players such as Koufax and Robinson.
The staff is friendly and helpful… and they speak English AND Spanish. They’re also well-​informed on the apparel and memorabilia side. Everything is priced well too. I’ll be back for some Lakers gear later on.
All and all, highly recommended. Forget the cold chain stores; this family-​owned establishment will suit you better than those other places. Located in Downtown Downey, there’s plenty of parking.
