History

Established in 1985.

E&E Orthocraft was founded in Norwalk by husband and wife Emery and Elizabeth Sipos in 1985. Emery, prior to opening this store, had worked at Rancho Los Amigos Hospital in Downey as the manager of the orthopedic shoe department for a decade, as well as running his own business out of his garage. The garage-run business grew into a retail store and made its debut on Smallwood Plaza in Downey, in 1995. E&E continued to provide for other orthopedic facilities with leather work, custom shoes, and shoe modifications. In 1999 the store was moved to its current location in Downtown Downey and has become a comfort shoe retailer providing quality footwear. Though E&E no longer provides custom shoes they will always strive to provide orthopedically correct footwear.
