I had an unfortunate bad experience with another «locksmith», (whom for the record was a scammer). Anyways, I heard about Discovery Locks and More from a friend. Jeff made an emergency trip to secure my home. I truly felt at ease as soon as this Profesional arrived! Thank you again Jeff Moore!

After having a new fence gate with a lock installed, I took the opportunity to update all of our ugly door knobs/​hardware around the house. It was going to be a weekend project. I got up early, installed the new hardware and then immediately called Discovery Locks to see about setting up an appointment (thinking it would be a day or two). The gentleman on the phone said he just happened to be in the area, he could be there in 10 mins. Wow! What luck, my project is finished and I only had to spend a few hours total on it. Plus, the cost was very fair (he even was able to save me some money by using the new locks just installed and matching those first… somehow, I didn’t quite get it, but I appreciated it!). Hopefully we are ALL done changing locks around here, but when the day comes that I lock myself out (which WILL happen), Discovery Locks is who I will call!

My door lock jammed and would not open. Jeff came out and fixed my lock and made sure it was working properly without having to change the locks on all my doors. He was honest and fair, a quality you don’t find in people or businesses these days. I highly recommend him and his services. Thank you Discovery Locks.

Called this company to re-​key 5 doors for our new place Brentwood. He was in and out in about 45 minutes. Price was competitive compared to other local companies. I would definitely use them again and refer them to family and friends.

Very impressed with this company! He was able to come out and Re-​key my locks the same day. And I think the whole process took less than 30 min. If you need a locksmith you should definitely give him a call.

Kindest and Most Knowledgeable Locksmith Ever! Super Nice Guy! I had a key that after Several Trips to The UPS Store AND Ace Hardware to have an extra copy of my front door key made, None of the 6 copied keys I purchased worked. I was told by Both stores, it was the Door Lock, and various other crazy excuses. However, when Discovery Locks showed up the next day, he was able to make a Working Copies on the spot, having keys that Actually Work is a Wonderful Thing! Any future locksmith needs, will not hesitate to go straight to Discovery Locks. 5 Stars All the Way!

Called Discovery Locks today and he was able to make it out the same day. He re-​keyed my front door, garage doors, gate and shed for ONLY $ 128. My front door lock was quite loose. He was able to fix it, but told me if I have any problems with it to call him as he stands behind his work. If you’re looking for quality and value in a locksmith call Discovery Locks!

I used them for the first time back in November of 2010. At that time I had a cooky housekeeper who refused to return my keys. Hence the need to rekey with a quickness. The proprietor was out within two hours and was fast courteous and professional. He has a reasonable price for his service call and the charge per lock to rekey was very affordable. He will also cut you as many keys as you need for the rekey with no charge. One call, comes right to the house the same day, and he’s kind and reasonable. What more could I ask for?
That being said I used him again today to rekey several of the locks around my home. This time it was an unstable boyfriend who refused to return keys. My experience this time, nearly two years later was identical. This goes to show that he is a quality guy with a great business sense who does fair and honest work. When you call a locksmith out, it’s usually because you are concerned about the safety and integrity of your home. He puts you at ease right away and instills confidence that the work is done correctly and efficiently. I didn’t just catch him on a good day the first time. I am confident now that when ever I need work done, I will get the best from him every single time. I highly recommend him to anyone in the area who requires his services.

I had to re-​key my house in a short amount of time. I am glad I called Discovery Locks and More! I was calling them from work, asking for quotes, and inquiring weather they could re-​key my house that same day. They said they could be at my house by 10am. They were at my house 10am, on the dot. My wife was there to open the door for them. He took all they cylinders, worked in his van, and a few minutes, he is already finished!
Fast, prompt service. Oh did I mention they also have very competitive rates? I now have a dependable locksmith.

Needed a deadbolt installed on our side garage door. Google brought up Discovery Lock. He said he could be at my house around 10:30am as he had one stop to make in Bethel Island first. He called at 10:20ish to say he was leaving his appointment and would be here in 15 min. I always like an updated ETA!
He arrived and shook my hand. Added a deadbolt and matched my house key with it! It took him about 15min and was about $ 76.
Asked for a business card as I will use and recommend him again!

When the key to my lovely home was never given back, I needed a full re-​keying PRONTO! After Googling Locksmiths, Discovery Locks and More came up so I gave them a call.
Was a bit put off by the gentleman’s mannerism at first but I thought I could overlook that after I called back for a price quote and how they take payment, he was very nice must’ve had a change of heart. The gentleman confirmed that someone already out in the field would be at my place in an hour, so glad to hear that!
An hour passed and sure enough a van pulls up with their insignia on it. The gentleman walked up, introduced himself and then got right to work. About 15 mins later, the job was done! Three doors and viola, new locks! The gentleman mentioned they didn’t charge extra for keys so I requested three.
So for all the work, they charge a $ 55 service call fee and $ 14 per lock so for under $ 100 I was very happy. I was so happy that I mentioned I’ll be hiring them again for a few more re-​keying projects. The man was so happy that he’d be getting return business from me, he offered a discount on our next call. Not sure how much he’ll slash off but I bet it’ll be worth it and worth a review update.
