Jodi Marfia – Sharp Realty

I used Jodi when selling my house in Discovery Bay and could not have asked for a better realtor.
She was thorough, professional, friendly and knowledgeable. She made some recommendations on what to do to the house to best show it and got it on the market the day it was ready. It sold in four days for full asking price (which was more than I thought it would).
She followed through on everything once I accepted the offer, making sure I knew what to expect and the time line. She made herself available through phone calls and email for any questions I had and always responded immediately.
I closed this morning and Jodi was at the signing to make sure I understood what I was signing.
I had never sold a house before and Jodi made the process understandable and much smoother than I ever expected. I would recommend Jodi to any buyer or seller looking for a realtor who will take good care of them.

Jodi helped me through the very difficult and complicated sale of my home. She was professional, patient and kept her sense of humor throughout. I couldn’t ask for a better agent and am now using her to buy my next home.

Jodi is friendly, professional, and prompt to respond. She gave us advice that paid off on what changes to make to show the house well. Multiple offers were made and we accepted one higher than asking price. Excellent followup and communication. I highly recommend her if you are listing your home.

This is our third transaction with Jodi and we have always appreciated her professionalism. She is thorough and organized and has a great sense of humor, too. This is a hard combo to find in an agent! We had a lot of factors that were working against us in this market and Jodi hung in there through all the ups and downs (none of which were her fault}. We cannot thank Jodi enough for all her help!

It was a pleasure having Jodi as our Real Estate agent. She made things very easy for us and she was always honest and straight forward with us. She never made us feel inferior for asking any questions and she always had a valid answer.
She is also very dedicated and not at all flaky. When she says she is going to be some where she’s there and she responds to various forms of communication very quickly. I could email and send her text messages at any time and she would usually respond that day if not right away. I think she has her email going to her cell phone so if she’s not busy she tries to get back to you as soon as she can.
She understood what we were looking for in a house after she got to know us a little bit and we are very happy with the house that she helped us get. She also knows the other agents in the area very well, she knows which ones are flaky and which ones are more likely to get your deal done and she’s not afraid to let you know it!
She actually called a few of them while we were looking at the house just to see what kind of status the house was in and how many offers the house had before we even left the house!
She recommended a great home inspection, the guy was very through and went over the whole inspection with me so I could see everything that need to be fixed and answered all my questions and showed me exactly what he was talking about in his report which made it very easy to go back and fix most of the minor problems myself.
If and when we move, I will be sure to let her have the listing, I think she’s more than earned it! I even recommended her to one of my relatives that was looking for a home.

Jodi is amazing! I had a difference of opinion with another agent and a friend that used Jodi (Juanita) suggest I give her a call. Jodi called me back even thought it was her family time.
Jodi was great with our 3 year old. Patient with us being late and all of my hubby’s questions.
Jodi goes all out for her clients and I feel comfortable recommending her to our friends.
(Now only if she mowed lawns…)

Jodi Rocks. However don’t expect her to come mow your lawn after you buy your house. She doesn’t even mow her own lawn. (Sorry inside joke). Alright besides that downside, she really goes to bat for her clients from what I could tell.
For Example:
A) Constantly calling the other flakey Realtors and wondering what was going on with our offers and/​or contract.
B) Lining up top notch inspection companies and mortgage companies.
C) Constantly showing us houses since we were in a bracket that had a lot of buyers with more buying power than we had.
D) Giving us great advice all the way about both the market and the area we were moving to.
She wasn’t the first person we went to, but she made up for it in so many ways. Her family friendly attitude and style is more than comforting during the crazy time of buying a house. I’m pretty sure I bugged her to the point of driving her crazy, but she didn’t show it. I would recommend her to anyone thinking about buying or selling in the Brentwood Area.

I have purchased three homes in my lifetime with marginal to bad experiences with real estate agents. I found Jodi to be the most wonderful and professional agent I have ever had the pleasure to do business with. She stays on top of the job until it is done and has been doing this long enough to work out any problems that can arise in real estate transactions. I would recommend Jodi in a heartbeat to
any looking for a new house or foreclosure. Also, in this upside down market where most real estate agents don’t want to be bothered anything but a traditional purchase, Jodi will step up to the plate and

After many failed attempts to find a Real Estate Agent that fit my families needs rather then their own I was refered to Jodi. Jodi went above and beyond to get my family and I into a house and to make the process as smooth as possible. Without her due diligence we would of never got into our current place. To make a long story short, Jodi called the bank everyday because the bank did not take our offer seriously. She also set me up with the financing after my current one backed out last second. We literally only had 4 days to spare before the law changed that I could not have 100% financing. Not only did she basically close the deal but we only had a 2 week escrow. My family and I still keep in touch with Jodi and she has been very helpful with any question I have have about real estate and the great town of Brentwood. Thanks again Jodi!!!

My husband and I worked with Jodi on both selling and buying a home and we have nothing but good things to say about her. When looking to buy our first home, and making the decision to move from our East Bay city to Brentwood, about an hour away and in a totally different county. I had called a few different Realtors in the area that didn’t even respond or seemed like they weren’t interested in working with me because I lived far away. Jodi Marfia was one that DID call me back – even though she was on vacation! She was very nice and made me feel very comfortable. I explained my situation and she was eager to help me and work with me! With such a big distance between us, she went out of her way to make it very easy for us to get the property listings as well as making time for us to walk through properties when it was convenient for us. She was very professional and was always «on top» on newly listed properties that would fit us. I think we may have put in 2 offers, before our offer was accepted, which was very fast! Her knowledge of the real estate market is beyond superb! She was right by our side through the whole closing process, returning calls/​texts/​emails quickly, putting our minds at ease when we had concerns and available to answer all our questions. She was also always right there, making sure my loan person was doing what she needed to do and making sure all the deadlines were being met. It was also great having her live in the area, making it easy for her to be at our home the day of inspections to open the doors, while we commuted through traffic from the bay area. Jodi is an AWESOME Realtor and not only did she help me get into my first home, she also did the same for one of my friends and I have referred many other people to her as well. They have all thanked me and had just as great of an experience! It’s hard to trust people sometimes, but she is a Realtor that you can trust and count on, and I won’t ever use ANY one else!
