The Facts Media, a proud member of the Better Business Bureau and the Des Plaines Chamber of Commerce & Industry, connects businesses to their local community with the added strength of national reach; all through affordable advertising products. The Facts Coupons website provides an online option to the services we offer our clients.

Once a client has chosen to advertise with us, non-​commissioned Verification Representatives review all contract and ad copy terms with each client via telephone. With the client’s permission, each verification call is recorded to ensure there are no discrepancies. This not only keeps costs down for The Facts Media, and it’s clients, it provides our customers with full knowledge, up front, of exactly what they are paying for.

We are continuing to develop new advertising synergies across media outlets to maximize each client’s investment.

History

Established in 1972.

In 1972 founder Ted Wilmes saw the crowds of people coming and going at the movie theater and recognized it as a concentration of potential customers with expendable income. After designing a simple movie related publication filled with movie listings, movie trivia and other fun features, Ted went door to door to local businesses, offering advertising space in his Movie Facts guide, inexpensive and exclusive, featuring only one of each type of business.

Now, over 40 years later Movie Facts, Inc. has become just one part of The Facts Media, together with Healthy Facts, Inc. and The Facts Coupons, Inc. The guides are distributed in theaters and health food stores all over the country. The corporate office in Des Plaines, IL, is one of five offices located in Illinois and Florida.

As the newly appointed President of The Facts Media, Jill is taking the company in new directions with the launch of our newest website, The Facts Coupons. For Healthy Facts, Inc. Jill has produced a series of You Tube videos that promote healthier eating and a healthier lifestyle and correspond to the monthly recipes. She is the guiding force behind the Healthy Facts Guide, now being distributed through Health Food stores throughout the United States.
