Brian has been cutting my hair for around four years now. Most of his clients are women getting their hair colored, but know that his men’s cuts are just as excellent. I have long, fast-​growing hair that I want a very particular way, and Brian goes above and beyond every cut I get. He will meticulously cut, layer by layer, for an hour if that’s what it takes to get it right, and he always makes sure I’m happy with every inch before I leave. He’s also just a great guy. So go see Brian, you won’t be disappointed!

Brian Hair has been doing my highlights and haircuts for over 3 years now, and I could not be happier with his services. His prices are very reasonable, and my highlights have never looked better; they’re always natural-​looking, not streaky, and they even grow out well. Brian is a perfectionist, and he really takes the time to understand exactly what I want and to deliver on my vision. He is also great to converse with during my long appointments, and he is one of the sweetest people you will ever meet. I really cannot recommend him enough. Thanks, Brian!

This is for It’s Simply Sugar, located upstairs of the salon. Anna is awesome. She is friendly and quick, and you can’t help but feel SUPER comfortable in her space. Her «maintenance» pricing for waxing is awesome– encourages you to keep up on it! Sugaring is a little different from waxing, and Anna is the Denver expert, so definitely be sure to visit her.

This is for It’s Simply Sugar, which is located upstairs from the salon. Anna was very nice and friendly, she worked quickly and knew what she was doing. The space was nice and the bed that you lay on is super comfy. I really appreciate that she has a «maintenance» price for bikini/​brazilian waxing. I have never heard of this but it makes sense and will definitely encourage me to go in more often. If you have never tried sugaring, do yourself a favor and never get waxed again, get sugared!

Just got a fantastic hair cut from Frankie. She cut it exactly the way I wanted it with layers, side bangs that will grow well, and thinning out the volume. My boyfriend got his cut by her too and we’re both thrilled with a stylist who knows her craft and listens to her customers. I will definitely be going back. I had been gifterd a «Brazilian Blowout» for my birthday from my sister with Joseph Brekalo, I called him after hours on a friday. I had to leave a message and he contacted me back promptly. I spoke with him about my weekly plus deal, he informed me it was his day off and that he was cleaning his house, but he had his appointment book and could get me in. We scheduled an appointment for a thursday at 1 pm. I informed him i would be needing a haircut as well and we discussed how long my hair is. We discussed how i had had a keritin treatment before, and talked about how this blowout service was different. I was really looking forward to the appointment.
When i arrived on thursday, both Joseph and i were running late. (He more so than I, he was still finishing a client when i arrived.) Still excited i waited in anticipation, because i really need to do something with my hair. When it was my time to be seen– Joseph informed me we didn’t have enough time to cut my hair, and that he thought we were just doing a cut and color… i was also informed that my weekly deal would cost extra because my hair was too long and he would need extra product. I’m frustrated because we have had a conversation about what we were doing when i made the appointment and there was no disscusion of an upcharge due to the length in hair– now this appointment is going to be an additional $ 80.00, because of the hair cut and extra product, on top of the $ 79.00 that was paid for the blow out service, and it won’t be at this appointment that we cut my hair. I told Joseph to just reschedule because i needed the haircut, and didn’t want to leave the salon looking like cousin It.
Joseph was more than happy to oblige to a new appointment, but offered no apology about the upcharge or the fact i was not getting any services done on this day. Instead I was told by Joseph that he was just really behind and he wouldn’t be able to do all the services I had booked with him the week prior. He also said that the weekly deal was to blame for not informing me of the up-​charges due to the extra hair I have (Which is thin hair, that is about an inch longer than my shoulders). I was offered no sympathy for my time, no apology for totally screwing up my appointment, and no discount for my return. Instead i got to deal with a cocky, unorginized hairdresser and lost over an hour of my life that i will never have returned. Needless to say i had the weekly deal refunded.
Overall I was not impressed with this salon, their services, or their additude. I will not be returning to this place anytime soon. I also will be telling all of my friends about my experience with the ever sought after Joseph, and this bait and swich deal at the salon. My advice– DON’T DO IT! Save your time, money, and the hassle– go somewhere else!

Terrible experience. Not sure what was going on with the technician that day, but she gave me the most unnecessarily painful and time consuming waxing I’ve ever had. Being no stranger to waxing, I stress how particularly painful this visit was — I went in for sugaring, but she switched between the sugar and regular wax, as she was worried she didn’t «have enough of the sugar «to complete both myself and my friend, despite taking out reservation on the phone a day before. She went on to break every hair she removed, leaving me with painful ingrown hairs and stubble (armpits, bikini and legs).
During my appointment, She complained about her bad back, and heated the sugar to hurry the job along, after what had already taken an hour. Heating the sugar made it less sticky and less effective, and therefore didn’t remove any of the hair on my legs. This i found out as i was putting my clothes back on. Very upset and in burning pain, i decided to just leave, with a sloppy leg wax which is patchy and half grown back 2 weeks later.
Afterwards, the technician tried to excuse the botched job on my being pregnant, (5 months) and my sweating. I am regularly waxed, and have never had any comments about sweat effecting my hair being removed. A very distressing experience, sorry to say I wouldn’t recommend this place to my worst enemy.

The most comfortable I’ve felt getting a Brazilian because of Anna’s skill, genuine kindness, and conversation. Her space is beautiful and calming as well. I had a wonderful experience and would highly recommend Anna!

This isn’t necessarily for the salon. More for Anna who works out of the salon property for «it’s simply sugar». Got a sugaring deal from groupon a while back. I was pretty nervous about getting sugared *down there* for the first time but she definitely made the process really easy and fast. She does a great job, and is so good at what she does that it barely even hurt. She definitely made my first experience a great one and I’ll be back!

This review is for Frankie. Thank you for making my curly mess of a head of hair look amazing and for giving me awesome color! I’ve been seeing Frankie for about a year (followed her from Babooshka). The first time she cut my hair it was pixie short and who knows what color. From there I thought, let’s grow this chia head out and see what happens. She made the grow-​out process far less painful then it really should have been and each time I request a new color, she makes it look great!
So my stars are: 1 star for general flair, 1 star for ability to manage my curly mess, 1 star for amazing color, 1 star for honesty — if she thinks your suggestion for the bieber is going to look like sh@t, she’ll tell you, and 1 star for location itself — clean and bright.

Their pricing it’s definitely NOT $. At $ 45 and up, it’s more like $$$!! Very misleading!

My new favorite salon! Frankie cut my hair and it looks amazing! She totally updated my look and brought me into this millennium! I had a facial with Tammy and my skin feels sooo much healthier! I met the owner Diane… she is the sweetest!!! She made me feel so welcome! I look great, feel great and it didn’t break the bank!
As a side note, I live in Orlando, FL although will travel to Denver for this salon. It’s THAT worth it. A++++

I was hesitant about trying out yet another salon, but what’s a girl to do when those amazing deals keep popping up? Well this one was for Joseph Brekalo and let me tell you, his cut was superb. He also talked me into a brazilian blowout and it has saved me 70% off my normal dry/​hair style time. He was extremely knowledgeable, not to mention hilarious as f*** and he served me a glass of wine… what more can I say? He’s my new go to guy.

Unbelievably rude owner. Will not give them my business or recommend them to friends, family, or acquaintances.

This review is for the fantastic facial services. The spa/​salon offers the usual array of services, which I have yet to make avail of .
The facial I received was fantastic and a deal – an hour of masks and rinses, deft extractions and $ 40 dollars later, I looked like a new man.
The facialist here (I can’t remember her name, but she’s the only one there) is highly knowledgable about skin care products, and instead of pushing her own line, encouraged me to look into another line given my skin composition.
I’ll be back!

So I have done quite a bit of moving in the last 7 years, which means I haven’t had a good hair stylist in about 10 years… for a woman this is a tragedy as well as a very nerve wracking proposition. As you can imagine I didn’t have high hopes for Diane when I walked in, but I came to her after a recommendation from a friend and a promise that I would love it.
I Did! This was one of the most enjoyable experiences I have had. I went in with hair that had not been cut in 4 – 6 month (imagine the split ends), that is frizzy and unruly by nature (german/​mexican heritage) and has a slight curl when it feels like it.
So me and my puffy hair walk in the door and I was greeted and waited for Diane, from the moment I sat down I knew I was in the right place. She heard my concerns, my past issues, and what I wanted to get out of the day and just ran with it.
I know have beaut fully warm colored, lightly highlighted, perfectly layered hair and could not be happier!
