Specialties
Just up the hill from downtown, the R&R is a great place to relax when you’re not feeling the bright lights of the club or the crush of the LoDo crowd. We offer a friendly, welcoming atmosphere, excellent service and a great selection. Whether you’re disconnecting from the daily grind or coming down from a busy day in the mountains, take advantage of one of the best happy hours in town. We identify as a gay bar, but orientation is a non-issue. We’re a neighborhood bar, and even if you’re not from just up the street, this is a place where you can come let your hair down and be yourself! Visit www.facebook.com/randrdenver for drink specials and events.
History
Established in 1977.
The R&R opened in the mid-late 1970’s, and is one the oldest continuously-operating gay bars in Denver. The building itself was constructed in 1936, and for many years the space at 4958 was occupied by the Coral Lounge.
