I have had multiple cars worked on here and have given several referrals to friends, all who have been happy with the work and honesty on pricing. An honest shop is hard to find and Jeff runs one.

These guys really know their stuff. I was referred to them by Storz (a Porsche specialist) in Denver. They took their time and really got my vehicle dialed in. They aren’t the cheapest shop in town. But considering that I had already gone through two previous alignments with limited success, coming here in the first place would have been money and (more importantly) time saved.
Highly recommend.

More than tires.
We have been customers of Jim Paris for years, and for more than just tires. They do all of the mechanical work on our cars and there has never been a problem with cost, efficiency or reliability. These are TRUSTWORTHY people and we would never go anywhere else. I once commented on the cleanliness of the waiting room and the variety of magazines and Jeff told me that many of their customers are women and they want to be accommodating for women clients. They have NEVER talked down to me or assumed I did not know something because I am a woman. This an excellent business.

I took my car here and paid close to $ 1000 for repairs only to find that the repairs didn’t solve the problem I took it in for. When I called to complain, they just gave the standard shop answer… this shop is way overpriced and not interested in backing up their claims. Save yourself a lot of money and time — go elsewhere.

I had tires replaced on both of my cars recently. I called to inquire about one of the cars, Jeff did a quick search and found a great special. He said he would get the tires and call me back. He called me back within an hour and asked me if i could bring the car in that afternoon. They got to it immediately and were done in less than an hour. While there, I inquired about my other vehicle which also needed tires. Jeff called me back that evening with several options and we had tires on the other car the next day. I got the same tires for much less than the dealership or the chain stores from a nice, local business. I can’t say enough good things. I will not need to shop around in the future, just call Paris!

We have taken our cars here for the past few years. They always do a good job of maintenance, oil changes, etc.
I recently ordered new tires and when the tires came in, they were actually $ 20 less per tire than what was quoted to me. They passed that savings on to me. Jeff (the owner) is super nice and I really appreciate this $ 80 savings over what was quoted. They didn’t have to do that I would have been none the wiser. But, they did and I thought that was really nice.

Great guys. Very helpful and trustworthy. i had a transmission problem and they did a full diagnostics, called multiple locations to refer me to and didn’t charge me for what they did. I didn’t feel scammed or suspicious to anything they told me. Great people, great place, highly recommended!

I took my Ford Ranger here when I got a flat at work on a Thursday. I was planning on driving up to Aspen after work on Friday, and so they got my tires shipped in by Friday morning. I went after work on Friday and was out the door headed to the mountains a half hour later for cheaper than anywhere else I got a quote from.
I definitely recommend these guys for tire service.

I believe in telling others when I get really good service or really bad treatment from a business. This is a good tale.
I was in Denver for the Colfax Half Marathon. While I was driving to Denver from Montana, I got a flat tire on my SUV. I drove into Denver with my spare. On Saturday morning, we googled tire stores in the Denver area and started calling around. I got a recommendation from a parts warehouse. Jim Paris wasn’t on my search results. I spoke to a young employee and he quoted me a lower price than another business, but I would have to wait until Monday mid-​morning. The price was low enough to make it worth it to wait.
On Monday morning I called the store again and spoke with Sam. He’s awesome. I explained to him my situation. I need 2 new tires and I would be driving through stormy weather in Wyoming. Jeff (I think) called me back when the tires arrived and gave me directions. When I got there, he joked around with me and basically eased my nerves and invited me to take a cup of coffee. Sam, an employee, is such a cool guy and easy to talk to.
It was a VERY busy day for them. Locals were scheduling to switch out snow tires and they were booked out for the rest of the week. They were swamped! I watched how they treated other customers. I watched out the front staff treated the techs. Though busy, they were professional. But, they graciously squeezed in this out-​of-​towner in to help me. My wait wasn’t very long. I was on the road back to Montana before noon.
I was very appreciative of the ir service and help. They seem to have a good reputation with locals. I read a comment about one of the humor of one of the guys there, but I wasn’t put off by him. He was pretty funny. I wrote this to let others know that I was treated very well and fairly.

Who’d have thought that I’d review a tire place? Surely not me!
Last spring, I took my 2006 Subaru Outback in for a new set of tires. I’d done research on the tires I wanted, and called Paris on a Friday at lunchtime to see if they had them in stock. They didn’t, but assured me that they could have them the next day, and would get them installed that morning. I took my car in, along with a book, and prepared to wait for a long while. I was out of there before I knew it — but not before they mentioned that they went ahead and spliced together the wire on one of my fog lamps because it had broken. No charge for that, they just wanted to make sure it was safe to drive. While they weren’t the cheapest set of tires ever, I felt really safe and secure, and that extra bit of customer service really stuck in my head. No pressure to buy the road hazard coverage, either — thought it was offered.
About 7 months later, I discovered that I had a flat. My husband put the donut tire on my car and I limped it over to Paris to get the flat tire fixed. I was again expecting a wait — I didn’t have an appointment (though I called on the way there,) but again, my issue was resolved before I knew it (I drove over a nail and needed a patch.) When I approached the counter to settle the bill, I was shocked to hear «no charge — you bought those tires here, and we’ll make sure you’re taken care of. We went ahead and rotated them too, it was about time.» It would have been an ideal time for a less honest business to take advantage of my situation, but these guys just wanted to get me back on the road.
I’m grateful for the good service, and I’ll make sure that my husband and I are loyal customers of Paris Tire going forward.

American Car Care /​Jim Paris Tires has serviced our family’s automobiles for over 25 years. At one point, the mechanics serviced over six vehicles in our family.
Throughout the years, Jeff Stone, Raymond, and the mechanics have provided exceptional customer service as well as honesty about prices and work that needs to be completed and when — which is very unusual in an industry wrought with dishonesty and price gouging. The service has been consistent and dependable, and they have always responded promptly to questions and phone calls.
I have purchased tires from this location for three vehicles and have never been disappointed in the product or servicing. Regarding service, I have never been lied to or price gouged (which happened at a suburban mechanic shop and at a nearby competitor).
A friend of mine is a customer of an American Car Care in Aurora, CO, and has always received honest service and advice.

They seem to do an okay job on our Infiniti. However, there is a guy that works here named Jeff (it turns out he is the owner/​manager) who makes off color, and in some cases offensive, remarks that are very unprofessional. Generally about women on Colfax who «can take it all» and white people and America.
I did mention it to the employee (who seemed nice) behind the counter, and he said he would mention it. I was hoping for an apology from Jeff but got nothing. Apologies can go far, people, and anyone in any sort of service industry should know and live the adage: A happy customer will tell one person about their experience. An UNhappy person will tell 10 people about theirs.
So, I am telling Unilocal about my experience. Too bad they could not apologize for their remarks, it might have made me happy.

About 20 months (and 17,000 miles) ago, I had Jim Paris Tires replace my front brakes pads and put on four new tires. Since I know very little about selecting tires, I asked for a recommendation. They recommended a Lexington tire with a 40,000 mile life expectancy. I thought, good — that should hold me for 3 or 4 years.
Yesterday I took the car in for its scheduled (free) tire rotation and was told that I need new tires; that they were «down to the bands» (whatever that means). I told them that I thought that they were supposed to last 40K miles. They said, «well that number doesn’t mean anything», and that «Colorado roads are tough on tires». Certainly this is information that I could have used when I originally bought the tires! I think that less than half of the miles that they say the tires should last is not acceptable. Furthermore, in the past when I purchased tires from Discount Tires, and the tires did not last as long as advertised, I was offered some kind of credit towards a new set. Essentially, the response from Jim Paris was, «Too bad, so sad, you should have known that figure was a complete lie».
I think what bothers me the most is their attitude. I was relying on their recommendation. I have been taking my car to Jim Paris for repairs since I moved to Denver more than two years ago. If I cannot trust their «expert» opinion to help me make informed decisions about maintaining my car, I guess I have to find a shop that will. In the meantime, I am at the mercy of the Toyota dealer. As far as tires are concerned, if I want virtually no customer service, I might as well go to Costco, and at least save money.
