Maybe the best breakfast sandwich for the money in the Denver airport. I got the croissant breakfast sandwich: eggs, ham, cheddar, and it was substantial. It was worth the short trip down the concourse. I didn’t try the coffee; went down to Caribou instead.

Just have to say Nichole the bartender was amazing! She served me at the crack of dawn as if I was eating a steak dinner. She even noticed my water bottle and offered to fill it up… with my choice of water and lemon. What a doll!

NAMECHANGE to Woody Creek Bakery… Exceeded expectations for airport food! Pretty good prices too. I had the Greek salad and added chicken. The salad and veggies were fresh. Chicken was not bad, but as you would expect pre cooked chicken. BONUS: free cookie was soft and amazing. Although, I’ve never met a cookie I didn’t like.

For an airport store, it’s not a bad little bakery. The roast beef sandwich and cookies were pretty good and not terribly expensive. I was a little alarmed by how greasy my fingers were when I was done eating though.

This is good food for an Airport. The flight crews always eat here so it probably is pretty good. The cookies are addictive. Rather quick service.

GF& I grabbed some dinner here before our flight home to Chicago. We had a late departure and didn’t want to be hungry when we got back into Chicago. I got the club sandwich which came on an over-sized croissant. She got a turkey chipotle wrap. They were around $ 8.50 each, which was a bit much, but it’s at the airport so what do you expect? I must say that the free cookie helped soften the blow. My club was good, nothing amazing. It definitely got the job done. Good turkey and some crispy bacon. I could have done without the massive lettuce leaves though. Although I did not try my gf’s, she said it was good. Didn’t look like it fell apart like wraps tend to do from time to time. Overall it’s a nice, easy place to grab something not soaked in grease. Prices are a touch high, but again you’re at the airport so it’s convenience that’s the key.

2012 Review #124: I personally find the choices for food at DIA to be not very good. This Paradise/Woody Creek location is about as good as you’re going to get. Yes, it’s overpriced. But, the advantage of chains is that they have consistency. And, whereas McDonald’s ends up costing nearly $ 10 at the airport, paying nearly $ 10 at Paradise feels a little better. Although the prices are higher, and they only list full sandwiches and salads, you can in fact still get half-sized sandwiches here. They don’t like to tell you that for some reason, and the half-sized options are only a dollar less than the full-size items. My husband and I ended up just splitting one sandwich and it was more than enough. They gave us a free cookie(not sure if they typically do that at airport locations, or just at normal stores) so we were happy. Strangely, the service here was great. Our panini was taking a while, but the shift manager was really nice and checked on our food several times. He made sure we weren’t in a rush for our flight, and just seemed to actually care, which is always nice in an airport.

I was torn between rating Woody Creek(previously known as Paradise) Bakery and Café three stars and four stars, but then I remembered two things: 1) They’re located in an airport(so I have to adjust expectations) 2) They have free cookie samples! I typically hit them up if I’m traveling early in the morning and would like to grab some oatmeal to go. While the menu says«oatmeal in an oatmeal cookie bowl,» you can actually wise up and forgo making breakfast into dessert by having them omit the cookie and put the oatmeal in a regular to-go bowl. This is the great thing about the free cookie samples, you see. You can munch on just a few and thereby forgo seeing how all the grease in a full-size cookie makes the paper bag it’s put in completely translucent. Apart from that, the employees work pretty quickly in the morning, so you can get in, get out, and get on your plane on time. Boo-yah.

A very impressive showing at the Denver airport! After searching hither and yon for a sandwich that didn’t suck and wasn’t $ 11 a shot, Unilocal lead us to Paradise bakery! Located on the upper level in the mid B concourse it contains both a bakery(on the right) and a lunch café. They have 7 or 8 sandwiches and a few wraps to choose from. The deal they run is the same as most chains — pick two things for $ 8.25 — half sandwich, cup of soup or a small salad. The paradise club was quite nice as was the turkey chipotle wrap. Both were surpisingly fresh and overall as good as you’d get at any Panera. The soups we had — chicken tortilla and fire roasted tomato were surprisingly good and actually tasted really fresh — much closer to made today than from a can and frozen. We had thoroughly enjoed what we expected to be a trending toward garbage meal and then the cookies came! Each meal come with a chocolate chip cookie and straight up, these are amazing. Crispy outside, little underdone in the middle and with tons a melty chocolate chips. I think they keep someones mom in the back making them! Overall, this was a great airport lunch. Good food, regular prices and easy in/out access to gates. It’s near the middle of the terminal and the sandwich makers are machines. Well worth going to if you’re in the airport and craving something a couple steps up from burger king, but for around the same price!

Very good sandwiches, cookies, and everything else here. The bread was soft, the ingredients fresh, and the cookies. The cookies. I would buy these cookies every day if I could. Not quite worth flying every day to Denver for, but almost. The B Terminal’s food court has great restaurants. This is one of the highlights. Inexpensive for airport food, high-quality, and the pop machine is in the seating area — FREEREFILLS.

I had the chicken Caesar salad and found it very good. The sandwiches looked great too. For airport food I found it fresh and delicious.

«Good morning! Can I have the breakfast sandwich?» «Uh, it’s FIVEAFTERTEN, uh, SIR.» «What?» “FIVE after TEN.” «…» “Can’t serve breakfast.” «Really?» “REALLY, sir.” —– Stopping breakfast service at 9:30am makes you stupid. Implying I’m stupid for expecting breakfast at 10am makes you an asshole.

The Denver International Airport is a behemoth with lots of shopping, eating, and even a post office for weary travelers who find themselves delayed. Among the many eateries, Paradise Bakery and Café is among the best. The food there does not feel like airport food. Rather, it feels like a really good homemade sandwich. The Turkey Cranberry is probably the best item on the menu, although I also like their tuna sandwich. Every sandwich comes with a freshly baked cookie that is quite delicious. I don’t necessarily like spending time at Denver International Airport, but whenever I find myself there, I make my way to Paradise Bakery and Café. They’ve also got a bar!

Probably the best Denver airport food. Not that there’s a huge competition going on in that food court. But! Paradise has good sandwiches and throws in a delicious chocolate chip cookie to ease the pain of endless Denver airport delays.

When you think about it, anybody can make a sandwich and call it a masterpiece… if you’re home. When you’re away from home, at an airport of all places, there’s got to be some kind of compromise. Denver International has your masterpiece waiting to be constructed at Paradise Café. Try the Turkey Cranberry on wheat or Chicken Walnut Sandwich. It’s all you need, but they’ll insist on you having a free chocolate chip cookie to go with it. Soup is good for those colder days. Salads also look good, although I usually stick to my favorite sandwich. They also offer carrot cake, brownies, croissants and even more cookies for your sweet tooth. Kids meal includes half sandwich, fruit, a drink and a freshly baked chocolate chip cookie. Service is as fast as you can make up your mind. Paradise will bring you home in no time.

Dear Paradise Bakery, You make the most delicious addicting cookies(next to girl scout cookies) I have ever had. You torture me with the buy one get one when I am trying to lose weight. I cannot pass you up however. Your sandwiches and salads are not to shabby either and you brew a decent cup of coffee. Now with all that said, can we discuss your prices? Why are you so high priced? I am buying a sandwich and cookie with a beverage and walk out spending like 11 bucks. You are so cruel to me Paradise. I want to love you, but you always hit me in the heart, er wallet.

Located in the Denver airport, I stopped by this place during a layover looking for something good to eat. They had some chocolate fudge brownies that were calling out to me. They were displayed on a stand by the cash register so when I ordered one I was a little surprised when the girl behind the counter went to a fridge behind her and pulled one out. While the fudge was intensely sweet, it(and the brownie part) was dry and probably a few days old. What a disappointment…
