The signage indicates this place is now called Woody Creek, in B concourse. Good sandwiches and cookies. Not bad; I do eat here occasionally. Full Bar. For a sit-down breakfast I’d probably go downstairs to Pour La France for more omelet selections.

I write to you regarding my experience at Paradise Bakery & Café at Denver International Airport — Concourse B. On 6/15, I ordered the Southwest Chicken Salad and my mother ordered the Turkey sandwich. The restaurant vibe had us expecting food similar to Cosi or Au Bön Pain, but we received bland unimaginative food. Worse yet, shortly after boarding my flight I had to run to the bathroom with a case of food poisoning. The chicken was obviously not fresh! The servers there are lucky I couldn’t go back there to rip them a new hole.

Nice place to sit down and relax! Get a shot of expresso in your frappé! The carmel was to die for!
Best option for a layover(or grab-and-go) meal at DIA… based on the other fast food options available. Paradise Bakery has a variety of salads, sandwiches, and soups… some relatively healthy options, again, compared to the other places available. I ordered a southwestern chicken salad. Word of advice: Order the dressing on the side, even though it may annoy the server. Lettuce leaves drenched in southwestern ranch dressing is NOT a pretty picture. Also available are a variety of combos that you can make combining salads, sandwiches, and soups. Super tempting cookies available… but I refrained from having one.

I frequent the Pardise Iin C terminal since it has the best food I can find at the airport. their wraps, sandwiches and salads all are made fresh to order and the cookies are awesome. I recommend the ceasar salad and turkey wraps, both are awesome. If you’re looking for quality non-greasy food at DIA Paradise is definitely the way.

So my early morning flight I had to eat something. I had about 30 mins and I totally forgot about this location above all of the hustle and bustle. Breakfast was a little pricey, $ 8 but the portion was huge. Eggs, bacon and toast. I’ll head back here for sure!

My favorite place to eat at DIA. The sandwiches are good and the half sandwich soup special is totally reasonable considering the jacked up prices at the airport. Don’t forget the fresh baked cookies. The soups are fresh and I love the combo’s they put together for the sandwich specials. It’s insanely delicious for airport food. I recommend this place to everyone who asks my opinion(and is flying Southwest).

During a recent flight from SFO to DRO(Durango), I had a 4 hour layover in DEN. I didn’t originally plan it this way, but a canceled United flight left me aimlessly wandering the terminal in search of hope and change. I eventually stopped at the Paradise Bakery and Café because the selection looked relatively healthy, there was a small line, and their bar was just a few steps from the cash register. The half tuna sandwich with tomato soup(and a cookie) thrown in was quite tasty, and it went down even better with an IPA to wash it down. I also had the chance to sit down by the window and watch both the interior and exterior worlds go by. Relaxing over a few newspapers and reading«109 East Palace» on my Kindle also helped pass the time until I was ready to walk to the gate.

** STOPOVERDENVERAIRPORT ** after roaming around the airport to see all the options, we opted to try paradise bakery & café. glad we did. i was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food. ordered a turkey cranberry sandwich. they made it on the spot with fresh ingredients. grabbed it to-go and went onto the plane. when i opened the bag to unwrap the sandwich, took one bite and thought, «wow, this is really great food! it came from the airport?» their cookies are delicious also. the ginger molasses is not too sweet with the right amount of chewiness. reminded me of the molasses cookie in LA from milk café. i’d definitely eat here again if i were hungry at the airport.

No kind sir, I will not be interested in joining your«mile-high club», but I will let you buy me cookies from Paradise Bakery & Café. I like this place… not because of the food they serve… or the prices they charge… but because there’s really no better options at Denver International Airport. They serve standard café foods — soups, salads, and sandwiches. They’re all pretty decent quality, but nothing really stands out. I have to give them props for their cookies. They have a wide selection and its all fresh made. Occasionally they’ll have a chick giving out samples. If you’re ever waiting out a Tornado(like I am currently), swing by and grab a cookie. A little about my credentials: I first got into cooking & food when I was in college. After being rejected by numerous girls and getting zero action, I decided it was time for a change. I needed a new makeover to boost my geeky, engineering image. I applied for a cooking position at a Mediterranean-Italian Restaurant near my home and learned to cook all sorts of pastas and dishes. I never became a professional chef, but I continue to enjoy & love food. 8 years later and 55 lbs heavier, I am now an engineer that travels all over the world trying new foods and learning about different cultures.
