Hazel & Dewey

This is such a charming place to find unique gifts for foodies and cooks – though you’ll probably want to keep most of them for yourself. It’s filled with gems, from gorgeous decanters to marble cutting boards to local food finds to screenprinted tea towels. They also have an outstanding greeting card collection (in a world full of lackluster cards, I might add). Everyone we’ve shopped for here has loved their gifts!
All in all an awesome shop to spend a little time finding something unexpected and delightful. Oh and the staff is lovely, too.

Beautiful store! A little on the expensive side (only reason for the missing star) but everything is high quality and unique. A great place for a housewarming gift or to treat yourself!

I am so in love with all of the unique gadgets and gifts in here. Beautiful mortar and pestles, cute kitchen towels, unique spices, fantastic local products, and plenty of other kitchen items galore!
While I didn’t find what I was looking for during my visit (wine glasses in particular), I adored everything about this shop. Someday, when I have a several dollars to burn through, I will be outfitting my kitchen with items from Hazel & Dewey!

A cool little kichen shop off of Broadway. The guy here was really nice, helpful but not overly bothersome.
There were mortar and pestles, cutting boards, plates and glasses. There were also some fancy salts, cocoa and those caramels at checkout are very tasty. Their kitchen towels and oven mitts had unique patterns. The price is a little high but the quality of the items here are worth it. A great find!

I am not one for splurging on household goodies but this place was too precious to pass up on. I loved the selection of tableware items. Everything had great character and was very original. I appreciate the labeling on the items too. It’s nice being able know exactly where something comes from. The lay out of the store is very open and well organized. Definitely a fun place to hit up!

The aesthetic of both the store, as well as all of the home décor and kitchen ware, is beautifully curated.
As I often drool over homes, design and décor on Apartment Therapy, I sometimes wonder where the hell all of these cool, unique people discover these cool, unique finds to put in their cool, unique houses. I’m pretty sure the answer is Hazel & Dewey.
I want everything in this shop from their Rifle Paper Co. recipe cards and notebooks to mason jar mugs with daisy lids and striped straws to beautiful yet functional cutting boards and cheese knives.
Whether you’re shopping for yourself or for a housewarming present or wedding gift, Hazel & Dewey will likely have exactly what you need only better.

When I make my first million, I’m coming straight to Hazel & Dewey to do up my kitchen. This place has such carefully chosen, beautiful, classic, and functional pieces – instead of three good tea pots, H&D will have one absolutely perfect, delicate tea pot. You can tell that whoever chooses the inventory understands quality and has great, timeless taste. I have to keep my hands behind my back to hold back the urge to pick up, touch, grow attached to, and ultimately purchase everything they have in stock. For now, I settle on some stationary, or a small kitchen gadget, looking wistfully at everything I have to leave behind.
Sure, it’s expensive. But the cutest of the best is laid before you, and a lot of the items in there really are worth the price. I just don’t have enough moolah in my pockets for such fineries at the moment. But when I do, I’m all over everything they have. You bet your boots.

This shop is SO FREAKIN CUTE. Their home goods have that 1950’s vintagy feel that is so in right now. I basically want everything in here to be in my kitchen. What a great addition to south broadway.

Every item at this shop is thoughtful, well made, unique and just plain adorable. Lovely gals work here. They are really nice & helpful. Plus there’s a ton of Rifle Paper Co. Cards here. We got this hand forged simple iron bottle opener and small buildable type-​puzzle — never seen anything like it.

Everything wonderful and precious and lovely and sweet that you want to be surrounded by you can find here. This is an eclectic wonderland where you can find the special additions that make your house and home wonderful. I promise if you stop into this store, you will fall in love a hundred times with just the right thing for you and your life. Seriously, no doubt and you will be the envy of all of your friends.

This place is SUPER cute. It was a wonderful addition to the SoBo neighborhood. If you are looking for a gift for a person who has everything… stop in here you are sure to find something. They carry rare home goods that are really neat. I’ve seen a lot of things in this store that I have only seen online. I know that I can just walk down the street and support my local shop.
The store has a little bit of an awkward ambiance… maybe bc the last two time I was in there was not any music playing and you could hear everyone whispering. hahah. Overall– great place!

Found this place while wandering on South Broadway doing some light shopping. From the reviews it sounds as if this is a new store.
I’m really into this little, non-​chain places that sell housewares and kitchen like items. I loved all the little plates, large bowls, dishes, mortar and pestles, and everything in between.
They don’t have a ton of variety — they do house high quality items. This is definitely the place to impress a loved one or someone special with a truly unique gift that will get them asking, «where did you find this gem?».

Quite frankly, Jenna Miles has had enough of this Sur La Table, Williams & Sonoma bullshit. Those stores are soulless. They’re sterile. They’re the Wal-​Mart of homewares and kitchen supplies. But Hazel & Dewey was created to combat all of that and become exactly the opposite. This is the store that will save our lives someday. Like when we’ve forgotten our mom’s birthday and need something amazing. Or maybe if we’re just trying to impress a new love interest by gifting them something truly unique and thoughtful like a gnome-​head juicer or a make-​your-​own-​cheese kit. Hazel & Dewey is going to make us look so good in the future, we can hardly wait.
But we’re also excited because Hazel & Dewey is a perfect example of what Denver needs more of. Like her South Broadway neighbors Fancy Tiger and Ironwood, Jenna has opened a specialized, curated, beautifully designed and presented boutique. Something that was obviously created with more love than salesmanship and an undeniable and overt excitement about what stocks the shelves and how it will affect those who take it home. Don’t believe the realtors, or the banks, or some stupid panel at a small business convention; the traits that Hazel & Dewey are exhibiting are what really matter when you open your own shop.
