First off, wow! They have an amazing craft beer selection… I believe the staff said 700+. The staff was friendly and the prices reasonable. They also have a rewards program which is great. Parking is easy and the store is clean… this will be my go to liquor store in Park Hill.

Good wine and beer selection, staff is always helpful. Every time I go in here a staff member offers to help me find what I’m looking for. The only negative comment I would have is that their membership deal is frugal at best. If you spend 200 dollars then you get a 5 dollar credit.

What a GRAPE neighborhood liquor store. Every time I have been in, I have kindly been greeted, given suggestions on beer and wine, and have even taken advantage of the free wine tastings they offer on the weekend.

Grape Expectations is everything you want in a neighborhood liquor store. The selection is incredible and the staff is very knowledgable. They can always recommend a great local craft beer or local spirit. The wine selection in a store this size is awesome. They typically have tastings on Friday and Saturday night. One of the staff, Nadia, is always very helpful and definitely not hard on the eyes if you know what I mean.

Great selection for a neighborhood liquor store. I don’t think I’ve ever walked out without what I went in looking for. The best part of Grape Expectations is the staff. They are always very friendly and helpful. I don’t think there’s a single product in the store that Travis doesn’t know something about. Sign up for rewards program, and you’ll get $ 5 off every now and then.

Great beer selection, Excellent wine selection and staff that can guide you to the right bottle.
The staff has always been friendly to my wife and I. Always attentive and spot on regarding any selections they assist you with. 5 star rating all the way around and I am not a five star slinger. I save it for the best of the best. If your looking to pick up your 40oz of Mad Dog 20⁄20 or a bottle of fortified wine like Bottleofliquidcourage, best to head south to Colfax.

I love this little wine and spirits shop! I live just down the street so it’s incredibly convenient for me to go when I’m looking for a last minute wine purchase. The staff is fairly knowledgeable about the wine they carry and are very good at offering a selection that is within what you request. I usually will give a price point and what I’m going to pair it with and they can easily recommend some favorites.
They have a loyalty program that tracks points for you as well and gives you discounts when you reach a certain point amount. Love this place!

The helpful staff always has good recommendations and they know and drink their products. The beer section is my favorite in town. They devote very little space to the large breweries, but instead focus on stocking beers from craft breweries. They also keep a good inventory of Dogfish Head Occasional Rarities and other bombers and specialty beers.

Love this place! Very nice local liquor store. Have frequent wine tastings with discounts on the tasted wines… have purchased new wines just from the tasting. Great selection and great customer service! Feels great that they remember me and my partner.

Great selection and well-​priced. Excellent customer service! Almost every time I visit I ask for assistance regarding wines. They provide excellent recommendations. This store is such an amalgamation. It certainly has a wine focus, advertising 10% off Colorado wines the day I visited. Trouble was, I couldn’t find the Colorado wine. The signage wasn’t prominent and easily overlooked. The employees seemed more focused gabbing amongst each other and not that approachable. I finally wondered to the back where someone else proved really helpful.
Quick notes: They have an extremely well priced Rochefort 10 ($ 7.49), easily one of the best Belgian beers in the world. Most wines are priced $ 10+. I wish there were a few cheaper options, but perhaps the wine was well-​priced. I’m not an expert. I did leave with a nice Chilean wine for an outdoor picnic. That proved to be a winner, so nods to Grape for having good options, an interesting beer selection, but mixed customer service.

So Argonaut has been my liquor store of choice for the past 5 years and I will still use them for Newcastle 12packs always on sale or if buying say an Islay malt as a gift but my new go to place is Grape Expectations. Conveniently located in Park Hill, I can walk there with the dog and pets are welcome so I don’t have to chain him up outside. They have a great selection of beer and wine from what I have seen so far. Friendly and knowledgable staff. Looking forward to their next tasting.

I just found this Nice local liquor store! They have a great selection of beer and wine, The staff is friendly, and they have a frequent flyer program! All of these things will make me go back time and time again especially since it’s only a stones throw away from my house! Score! I can’t wait to go in for the in store tastings and to try the huge bomber selection! Keep it up guys!

Man I love this place. I love the fact that they remember me and are super friendly, but maybe I just drink too much and therefore am there too often. Who knows…
But this place has a wonderful craft beer selection for a smaller liquor store and they keep the stock rotating so you get new things quite often. They are supremely knowledgeable and have a giant wine selection as the name implies.
They also do tastings here very frequently that totally rock.

This is now my neighborhood beer/​wine store and I la-​la-​love it. Why you ask? Well, let me tell you…
1. They have a lovely selection of wine (even carrying 4 packs of bubbly splits so I can have one drink of my favorite without being committed to a whole bottle.)
2. They are very knowledgeable about aforementioned wines, and don’t make you feel bad for not being as wine-​smart.
3. The beer selection is pretty awesome, too. And they are just as willing to chat hops as grapes so Coach is pretty excited to get his brews from here.
4. They do tastings on the regular.
5. They have a frequent buyer card that you don’t have to carry. You just sign up and tell them your name when you check out and they add your purchases to your account for credit towards the frequent buyer program.
While it’s a fairly small store I think they’ve really included good choices in their space, the store is always clean, and the staff is always friendly. What more could I ask for?

Being located across the street from my place, I would give them a decent rating on convenience alone. However, their unique wine and beer selection substantiate a good review as well. The staff is incredibly knowledgeable and have provided me excellent suggestions on wine and beer choices on multiple occasions. They offer wine tastings on Friday and Saturday evenings which consist of some incredibly distinctive selections outside of your usual Yellow Tail.
Although prices may not be as reasonable as larger outlets, they pride themselves in quality over quantity. What’s more, they are one of the very few liquor stores in all of Colorado that offer up my favorite beers from my current favorite brewery, Abita!
