A great place to shop for wine & beer. Nice people always happy to help and will order in any item I want.

Well the gentleman who helped me Saturday to pick out a $ 100 gift bottle of Glenlivet was pleasant enough, but the thin woman (?manager?) who proceeded to argue with her employee in front of me while I paid was really bad form. I would agree the employee was being a jerk, but in those situations you need to take the conflict away from the customer. I won’t be back anytime soon.

Great staff, good selection, reasonable prices. Most importantly, though, they are dog-​friendly, which means I can kill two birds with one stone– walk the dog, and pick up a sixer or a bottle of wine. All good things. They even give my little fatty a dog treat. Plus, they always have good music playing.

I used to stop here on the way home from work. You know, after a long day of work, you sometimes want to indulge in a beverage to relax, instead of hitting the gym.
So convenient for me. And they carried Ace Perry Cider, which is probably my favorite go-​to cider due to it’s light/​clean taste and relatively low carb content (for being a cider). I don’t enjoy beer at all, so hard cider is my equivalent.
I stopped by here to grab another 6 pack of my cider. Only to find out they had stopped carrying it. Sadness. Horrible sadness.
I guess I’ll have to find a new liquor store to frequent.
Summary:
1) private parking lot (shared with many businesses, including king soopers)
2) friendly staff.
3) lots of selection.
4) but don’t come here if you want Ace Perry Cider.

This place is very clean with a large, well organized selection. The staff members were very helpful and, even though they didn’t have the wine I requested, offered a comparable brand that actually turned out to be better. :)

My wife and I used to live right across the street from here, and it’s awesome! They have a great selection and they’re super friendly. The store is dog-​friendly too, which is great for us.
They have a small selection of cigars. The selection’s okay, but it’s no walk-​in humidor or anything.
Highly recommended!

Maybe it’s the fact I lived 2 blocks way but this place is great. Friday evening there’s usually a tasting of some kind, beer, wine, whiskey, tequila… everyone is friendly and knowledgeable. Need a good cheap wine — they can suggest one. They sold me on a Box wine that everyone at my party loved (some more than others…) Good selection of beers from near and far, not the biggest by far but all the major brands and a lot of the local flavors. Not much in 6 pack cans, which isn’t a big deal but I like that for Jazz in the Park, but minor. And even though they are small in comparison to the warehouse places, wine and liquor prices are the same and sometimes better. Bombay, Grey Goose, even the JD was better price than the King Soopers place in Glendale and FAR cheaper than the ripoff at Target.

Went here on the recommendation of my most trusted beer adviser as it’s his neighborhood liquor store. There is a decent selection of craft beer in both six packs and 22s as well as a few specialty 12s. Beer prices were good and competitive. They had a few unique options I’ve not seen elsewhere and I hear they get specials in. I compared a few bottles of liquor I check at every store and the liquor prices were equal or a dollar or two higher. It’s way out of my way but definitely worth a stop when in that neighborhood.

It takes a bad experience at another store to make you remember why you love the store you frequent all the time! Luckily, Mayfair Liquor is in my neighborhood and is a great liquor store. They always have what you want, sometimes more than you want if you just ask for it and the staff knows their stuff.

i love this liquor store!!! they carry a brand of wine that is only 4.99 and its some of the best wine i have ever had. it’s the same kind that trader joes sells for 2.99, and while we don’t have one of those here yet, i happily shell out 4.99 for a bottle of yummy chardonnay at my local lq store. they also have great customer service that strictly abide by the rules. recently, and as a surprise to me i went in there with a freshly expired license and they refused service, i hadn’t known it was expired! but thats okay, its the law.

As much as I visit this liquor store, I figured I should write a review. This is the liquor store in my ‘hood and it is all I could ever want. The staff is so helpful and knowledgeable. They also always compliment my beer selection which automatically makes you cool in my book. Speaking of beer, they have a stellar collection of Colorado’s finest. Wonderful staff, excellent selection of beer, random wine/​liquor tastings. What more could you want?

In the same parking lot as the Mayfair King Soopers, Mayfair Liquors is a medium sized neighborhood liquor store. They fair well on price, selection and customer service. Each time I’ve been in the staff knows where everything is, can answer a question and is happy to help out in any way they can. I was able to find a few things not available elsewhere here, so that keeps me coming back to browse. The store is well organized and well stocked. There are some deals to be had if you are a patient shopper. Also good, is parking in a private lot right in front of the store. Keep up the good work Mayfair Liquors.

Love this place. Always a great selection of beer and wine. Always ready to give you a great suggestion for a whiskey or tequila. Recommendations are always on point., you really can’t find a better liquor store.

Ahhhhh, good place to go if you’re looking for the hooch! I just moved here from NC so I’m not used to having to go to the liquor store for wine. Instead, I would go to the supermarket buy a frozen pizza, tomatoes, wine and call it a party. Luckily this place is in the same shopping center as the King Soopers so I just have to walk over when in need of the vino. I went on Friday night and the only thing better than their selection of wine and beer was they had wine and tequila tasting going on. Buying my hooch and catching a buzz? Priceless.

I’ve frequented this liquor store for over 13 years now, yes add that up and I’m in my 30’s…no they never sold to me as a minor. It’s a great asset to the Mayfair neighborhood, good prices and knowledgeable staff make it easy to come back to. Good place to meet men, haha.

Our absolute favorite liquor store!
My boyfriend and I frequent Mayfair Liquors a few times a week (ok, sometimes daily) not only because its right up the street from our place, but also because of the amazing wine selection, great prices and friendly, knowledgeable staff. They have a great selection of affordable everyday wines that is always evolving and growing. Keep an eye out for «New Item» and «Staff Favorite» labels littered throughout the shelves. Every time I think we have drank through the sparkling wine section at Mayfair, a new item comes along to tempt us! We have never been disappointed with any staff recommendations, so don’t hesitate to ask for some suggestions if you’re feeling a bit indecisive that day.
Oh, and if an extra star, if that were possible, for having the best jams to shop by!

I am happy to move back in to this neighborhood and call this my liquor store! I have never had a bad experience in here. They always have good selection of beer and wine.
The staff was very nice and has given us little shooters for free upon check out and sometimes free limes and such. They are also very reasonably priced! I really like this liquor store!

I used to come in here on a more regular basis when I lived in the neighborhood. I was in the mood for some good beer and I stopped in the other night — great timing on my part. Reps from Odell Brewing were doing a tasting and I was reminded why I always liked Odell beers.
This place has a great beer selection — plus their staff is knowledgable and friendly. I was able to pick up a bottle of my favorite Lambic and get a couple free samples of Odell. What more can you want?!

Park Hill Friends and Neighbors,
I can’t believe none of us has written a review for Mayfair Liquors. If you stop in to see these guys as often as we do, then they should be as much a part of your family as ours. Mayfair is one of my go to stops when we need a nice bottle of wine for an impromptu dinner party or a small bottle of something for a recipe; it is our stop for a reward after shopping at Safeway. The staff is always friendly and helpful; I have never been steered wrong by a wine suggestion (their Mom and Pop Vineyards wine is tops) or a new beer suggestion. They have a nice selection of just about everything and the prices are not outrageous. You might even get lucky and walk in when they are having a sampling.
I was inspired to write this review because yesterday I was steered away from BL Lime (said it had a fake lime taste), they double checked in the back for the husband’s request of a wine that was empty on the shelf, and as we checked out they offered me a free lime that was in better shape than the one I had at home. Mayfair Liquors is the model of what I think a neighborhood liquor store should be like.
